Mediocre. Got sat down fairly quickly, but took at least 10 minutes to get noticed. Understaffed. But our waitress did her best and had a pleasant attitude so I was happy with that. I had the French toast. Sounded good on the menu. First time out it was cold. Cold toast, cold bacon. Server was quick to get it replaced. New food was HOT, so that was good. But it was the blandest French toast I’ve ever had. It was basically whole wheat bread with syrup. Meh. The breakfast tostada was pretty good though. If you eat here, allow PLENTY of time.

Just not worth it. Took almost 45 minutes to order and then receive cold food. Several tables were never waited on and just gave up and left. The waitress never communicated any delays nor checked back in for refills.

I went to this place to get a beer, bar was crowded so no biggie I sat at some tables behind the bar and ordered a landshark on draft, the beer was$ 9.22 and was approximately 4⁄5 full. Quite disappointed as the glass was graduated and probably received 2⁄3 of the beer I paid for. Our flight got delayed and my girlfriend and I sat down for food. I asked the waitress a question about the menu and she said I don’t know then ran to another table and came back a minute later to take our order lol. Again, no big deal. I ordered the chicken fingers, food was disgusting(11.99 for the chicken tenders mind you). My girlfriend noticed an open garbage can in between the bar and seating area over piled with trash and flies surrounding it. I’m not one to complain, and I can appreciate airport food sucks, but this place really sucks, hard.

The food was bad, but the service was outright terrible. The hostess was rude and mean. The waiter had a better attitude but was slow with refills and had to be asked each and every time. The food took an insanely long time. This place only survives because it’s the only option

I dread flying SW through FLL because this is the only option for drinks before the flight. I pass through this airport multiple times and the options for grabbing a beer are terrible. If you want to grab a beer after a long week before catching a flight, this place falls short. A line normally forms because they cannot accommodate demand. If you want a seat at the bar, it can take 30 — 45 minutes. Most of the time the only seating option is over in their restaurant area. Getting seated there can take 20 – 30 minutes which is just slightly better than the bar itself. If you get seated at a table instead of the bar, the servers act pissed if you only order a beer. Just terrible and only works if you have lots of time before your flight. Come on FLL and Southwest; get another option as this place is dreadful.

3 stars because, the food was good and fast. Two best qualities for an airport location. Breakfast menu was different and higher priced than signage outside restaurant. Eggs, vacon, bread, potatoes with coffee= $ 16.00 before tip.

I’m not usually one to write reviews but my husband and I were very excited to sit in a real restaurant during our 8 hour time in the airport. The hostess was very rude and practically ran into me while seating us and didn’t apologize. Then proceeded to talk about how terrible the restaurant was while still on the floor(was using profanity as well). We ordered 2 beers and the pretzel appetizer which was DELICIOUS, and we also ordered 2 sandwiches. Our server came back asking if we needed anything so we asked for 2 waters. Nearly 30 minutes later we had no water, our table hadn’t been cleared, and we still had not received our food. I got up to go to the bathroom and noticed our food was under the heater. I had ordered a salad instead of fries so when another 20 minutes passed we had to flag down our waitress and just asked for the check. I had no intention of eating the food at that point. She blamed her lack of attention to us and our food on the other staff and didn’t apologize so we left. Terrible experience due to customer service which is such a shame because the little food we got was wonderful. The restaurant was also filthy. There was food all over the floor and many of the tables hadn’t even been wiped down.

I’m actually excited to write this review because our bartender, Solomon, was exceptional! My best friend and I had a long wait at the southwest terminal in the Fort Lauderdale airport(aka the most boring airport on the planet), so we decided to spend majority of our 4 hour wait at Landshark. I ordered chicken tenders with a side salad instead of fries and a beer, while she ordered a caprese salad and a beer. The food was what you would expect at an airport and similar to that of a Chilis or other chain restaurant. Solomon was very kind and attentive. He refilled our waters and brought us napkins without being asked. He was friendly and managed the many bar patrons with ease. Thank you, Solomon, for making our experience great!

So annoying that this place is the only option for food and drinks in the southwest section. The food is awful. Nothing tastes good. The service was HORRIFIC!!! Especially for an airport bar, you MUSTBEPROMPT. Granted, the waitress, Kathleen, said everyone called off so she was alone. But still, that’s a management problem. You don’t let people take off on Memorial Day weekend, you just don’t. Bad food, EXTREMELYOVERPRICED, don’t even bother.

We walked up and weren’t greeted or anything, but the hostesses were across the restaurant area and were clearly conversing with each other and also clearly saw us. There started to be a pretty long line and we could see open tables. They continued to not care. Once my shoulders became numb from my two bags, I started timing. About 5 minutes later(remember, my shoulders were already numb), they finally walked over. No smile. No «hello,» just«how many?» and she went down the line like that, treating us like we were swine about to be sent to slaughter. We get sat at the nastiest table and they chose a high top for two very short people and one is clearly much older and shouldn’t be climbing into a chair. Everything was dirty. We were so hungry, we decided not to care. Our server skipped us a few times, but as we watched her, she was frantically taking order, trying to bus more tables than she needed to be, and when she finally got to us, you could tell the poor woman was so in a rush. They need to have the hostesses helping bus the tables, because they clearly aren’t competent enough to greet people, but tables don’t talk so you don’t need to say hi to them. Plus, these servers were busting their ass. I believe her name was Norma — an older lady who was a bit abrupt and to the point, but I didn’t need to chit chat about my boring day, so that’s fine. I actually really liked her and I’m sure she’d take more time to get to know customers if she had the time to do so.(I wrote a note on my tab to her telling her to keep at it and that she was great and she personally found me to thank me for it — so she’s a nice lady) Our food was mediocre at best. My mom said her burger had no flavor and Wendy’s could do better — well that’s kind of sad for a burger priced over $ 10. My chicken tenders were also bland — we figured standard bar food and we couldn’t go wrong. Oh, we were so, so very wrong. A group of girls were sat next to us and complained openly about the cleanliness. The hostess offered to come back and wipe the table — well the hostess never came back and the girl who was complaining got a napkin and cleaned the table herself. All in all, the two stars go to our shining star server, who is overworked and deserves to be paid much more than she probably is. If you get the older lady, don’t discredit her for being abrupt. She’s covering other people’s butts and deserve the tip.

Servers at the bar act like they have the worst job in the world. Lots of sighing and discontent regarding trivial server issues. Super slow, snail like service. Zero comprehension that folks might need to get in and out quickly. The food was good. Apparently the folks making the stuff aren’t suffering the same malaise as the bartenders. Very limited menu, but I can vouch for the grilled chicken BLT. It tamed the savage belly beast. Less bitching and complaining by the bar folks and I would have added a star.

Service is a little slow here which isn’t ideal when you’re in a rush for a flight. The staff is friendly nonetheless but just not quick on their feet. It’s a good place to grab a drink before a flight but the food did not look at all appetizing. As we were contemplating ordering food we saw plates pass us by and not a single dish looked appetizing. We thought about nachos but we didn’t want ballpark cheese on them and the other Unilocal reviewers seemed to agree that the food wasn’t very good. Plus the prices are very high! Sorry we’re not going to spend $ 18 on food that doesn’t even look appealing. We ended up just grabbing a drink and heading out. I’d skip this place and check out the Cuban fast food joint next door.

You are better off not eating than to eat here. The service is right up there with the worst places I’ve ever been. I know it is airport food, but dam was the food bad. STAYAWAYPLEASE.

Surprised this place has such low reviews. Can’t speak for sit down service but bar service is good. What do people expect from an airport restaurant? Small menu but everything I’ve had on it is reasonable. Nothing mind blowing but nothing bad. I’m giving it 4 stars for having better service and better food than most airport quick eat places, not necessarily 4 stars for all restaurants. I come here often for a quick bite before my flights. I always sit at the bar but service is always pretty good, beer is flowing and food is decent. I really like the land shark tacos with the exception of the tortillas themselves… They kind of fall apart in your hand. The rest of it tastes good though. The chicken sandwich is good and the chop chop salad is decent too. All in all, for airport grub-not bad.

Horrible, wish I could leave no stars We ordered a land shark tacos, the worst tacos ever what you see on the menu listed is not what you’re going to get. Listed on the menu is grilled chicken, pico de gallo, Blake beans, queso fresco, jalapeños, lime cream, and guacamole. What we received was corn tortillas, with black beans, no pico and the cheese ways nasty yellow velveta cheese Save your money for a real snack this is not the place trust me.

This place is a joke. If it wasn’t in a airport it would be closed! No other option for sit down and drinks! Very very slow to get sat. After being sat very very very slow to get a waiter to the table to serve you. Wait staff very short with customers! Both orders came to table incorrect! Then came back to table the same way incorrect. We waited so long we just decided to eat it! Servers need training in customer service! Servers argued several times because they didn’t want to wait on tables! They kept on trying to give tables away to other servers. Which made customers suffer! Food was basic and average nothing special! Would never come back to here! I don’t care I will go hungry before eating here again! Stay away! Not worth the trouble and frustration! Asked for Manager waited another 20 minutes and was told they can not find him! I guess this would explain a lot!

At least the kind and attentive bartender warned me it would be 30 – 45 minutes before I got my food. Food: Typical Airport fare, nothing special, nothing particularly good Service: If you are lucky enough to grab a seat at the bar, GREAT! If not, have fun waiting 20+ minutes for a server to come by. BONUS! The hosts were so engrossed in their texting and phones that I even had to wait about 5 minutes at the host stand to get a seat! THEN they looked at me, annoyed because they had to assist Management: apparently there is none. No managers walking around, no managers to assist with guest complaints, no mangers to helped the swamped servers. Do yourself a favor and grab some mediocre food from the kiosks/self service. Sure you wont’t get alcohol, but the food is probably better and I guarantee the service will be.

Decided to get a meal and sit a bit. The place is clean. Lots of room for eating. I decided on some wings and fries. The wings were on the small side but they give you a fair amount. I think 10. The fries had a coating like a beer batter that was ok. My experience was positive. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This place sucks. I ate here 14 months ago when I was flying out of this same terminal, and it was awful then, but considering it’s the only place to sit down and get an alcoholic beverage in B gate, I decided to give it another go. The food is awful and ridiculously expensive, even by airport standards. My 9 oz glass of(house) Sauvignon blanc was $ 17.99. We wanted to start with the nachos, but they were brought with our entrees. They don’t even use real cheese on the nachos. It’s that awful liquid, processed garbage you get on nachos at the ball park. For my entrée, I got the club which is served on French toast. Sounded fun. Totally not. The bread was soggy, and the turkey was dried out. For 2 people, we spent $ 50 before tip(that was after I had the sandwich removed because I couldn’t eat it). I will never make the mistake of giving this place another try. Go to Auntie Anne’s or Torn Basil in this small gate instead. If you must have a drink(I feel you), order it from the bar and go elsewhere for food.

Its airport food. Looking at the very small menu, I chose the chop chop salad($ 10.99) with grilled chicken for $ 3.99 more and water with lots of ice. The service is slow if you are at a table, but I have to say the salad was pretty good! — and big. Very fresh ice burg lettuce, lots of chopped fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion(I’d pass on that next time) bacon and a nice freshly grilled real chicken breast . I looked around at the hamburgers which looked dried out, wings that looked over cooked, most everything on the menu fried. So I think I made an excellent choice at 10:15 am. They stop serving breakfast at 10 am. If it were later in the day a glass of wine would have been perfect. So I am just reviewing the salad and service . Again it’s a small bar/grill in an airport. Better than expected!
