Kathleen Ann provided amazing customer service. She was sweet, energetic and personable. Even when my empanada had a few hairs in it, she handled the situation very professionally. We need more Kathleen Anns in the world, and especially in this grumpy ass airport.

The bartender was one of the rudest people I ever met. It was 11am in the morning and we ordered a couple of sodas at the bar because we weren’t ready for beers quite yet. After we ordered, she looked at us and asked«you do know this is a bar, right?». When I asked if it was ok to sit there, she reluctantly said yes, though it was«bad for business». It was 11am in the morning and we just weren’t ready to start drinking! We were considering getting a beer, but not after that exchange. She was incredibly rude and made us feel very unwelcome. We also asked if she minded changing the channel on the TV in front of us and she ignored us. I have never had a bartender who was as rude or unprofessional as she was. If people want to have a soda at a bar, you should not treat people like they are second class citizens. If I could rate this bar 0 stars, I would.

Blue Bar is located at the far end of the JetBlue terminal, Terminal 3, in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport next Gates F10 and F9, and I love it since Jet Blue is one of my favorite airline carriers and when there not only can I get pleasantly zonked in preparation for my flight but also keep an eye on my departure gate. It’s also good for a quick snack, and for an airport bar the drinks as compared to most airport bars I’ve been at(which is a lot of them), seem to be of a more generous pour along with a superior friendly service.
