It is a cool vibe venue for sure. I applaud it for its uniqueness. Why? I went on a ‘Does anyone have a real Tiki Bar’ and sought out last Saturday to find out. Short answer, this is the only one. Pros: Like the vibe if you are a fan of Tat’s, Live Music, laid back crowd and Tiki’ness vibe. Con’s Small bar, a few tables. Oh and I wanted to drink out of a Tiki Glass, I went to a Tiki bar for a darn Tiki Vibe. I order a drink, the bartender carefully made the tasty libation. and served it to me in a regular glass. There were dozen of Tiki Glasses on the shelves… Why was I cheated!!! But love it for its simplicity and local crowd and thankful live music which is hard to find nowadays.

Drinks are made strong, and the bartender Tara is so nice! Atmosphere is different from your average tiki bar. Definitely a new to go to spot.

Hung around an extra day in Florida, as per their website to check them out. Drove over… closed Monday says the tattoo shop staff. Tfft!

Hearing that it was a Tiki Bar /venue /Tattoo parlor made me a tad bit skeptical about Kreepy Tiki. We rolled up on a Saturday night, and the folks hanging out front were certainly more punk rock than Tiki. I have nothing against punk rock folks, just not what I would normally expect to see in front of tiki bar. We were the only people in there with Aloha shirts on. Everyone was really laid back, and got chance to talk to the owner /manager … something like that. She certainly had her tiki credentials and told us what drinks to try out once we made it inside. The space looked like a Tiki God wandered into a rock n roll venue, got in the mosh pit, bled Tiki blood all over the place, and from that blood grew Tiki Mugs and Tiki Paraphernalia. Better drinks than you get at most rock clubs. You don’t HAVE to order a shot and a beer here. We tried some drink with Chinese five spice syrup in it, and another that was like a Moscow Mule w/Richland Rum and Cynar. The drinks were almost as interesting as the live music. Some audio experiments we’re certainly being nurtured up on stage. Really glad we made it out here, and glad I didn’t walk out with any unwanted tattoos!

Good tiki bar. I liked it. I wasn’t overly impressed but it’s a place I would go back too. Will tell you this. The bathrooms were super clean. Idk if they just cleaned it but it was crazy clean. I mean I could literally eat off the toilet seat. I was so impressed by how clean it was I want back a few times. It was almost Luke something was drawing me to it. What’s even crazier is it seemed to get even more cleaner every time I returned. I thought maybe I’d just drank too much. But the next time I went there I return to the bathroom and low and behold it was beautiful

Seriously an awesome bar! Being a life long lover of all things tiki, I think the vibe here was perfect. It was a Friday night when I came, and oddly the bar was mostly deserted. This wasn’t an issue for me, and I was glad to avoid the crowds. Perhaps there were not many people there because it’s so hard to find this place? It’s on a strange back road in an industrial part of town, and you have to go through a narrow one lane alley to get to the parking lot. That being said, the parking lot is ample and you won’t have a problem finding a space. I ordered a Tropical Itch, one of their signature tiki drinks, and it was superb. It’s a very strong bourbon and rum concoction mixed with a variety of fruits. It came in a garnished green tiki cup and tasted delicious. If it wasn’t so strong I would have gone back for more! That night they were also having a special on daiquiris, which I got to try a little bit of. They were the perfect amount of sweetness without being sickening, and while not that strong they had a good kick to them. If you’re a beer person keep in mind that there’s also a good amount of craft beer on tap. There was no live act the night I went, but I would love to come back sometime to catch a show. I love the ambiance here, it’s got a great punk vibe that mixes well with the tiki theme. While I’m sad that I live so far away from this place, when I’m back in the Fort Lauderdale area I intend on hitting this bar again. Awesome lounge!

Saw this on way to lawyer’s last month. Since I love ANYTHING tiki(who doesn’t) had to check it out. It’s like the Disney Imagineers stayed up all night drinking absinthe and attempted to design the Tonga Bar up at the Polynesian. There is parking in the back through an alley. I love it. This is my third time here. They have jazz on Wednesday night, and other live music Thursday Friday Saturday nights. See you here.

This was my favorite tiki bar in the Ft Lauderdale area. Their Mai Tais were outstanding, however I came in and the ‘fill in’ bartender(her words not mine) was working and my Mai tai tasted like grenadine and a shot of rum, she said tiki wasn’t her thing — absolutely awful. She asked me if it tasted like a Mai tai, can’t believe I had to spend $ 13 on that. She told me she hoped I came back when the normal bartender was there, I don’t know if I will.

This may not be the place for you if you are not into loud music, looking for a chill lounge where you actually have a conversation, or if you’re just looking to relax on a Friday night.

Not only is Kreepy Tiki the coolest place in Ft Lauderdale for live music and eclectic cocktails, they have a fantastic beer selection. The vibe is always great. The place is a gem. I recommend it to everyone!!! The line up of music is always great. The bartenders are wonderful and serve up some really cool, delicious classic and modern tikis. There is plenty of parking, clean bathrooms and plenty of fascinating things to look at. I wish I could give it 50 stars. I love love love it.

We showed up just as they were closing because I guess it was slow. BUT the bartender opened back up for us for one drink, which was pretty cool. Everyone liked their drinks, and they definitely weren’t light pours. I dig the atmosphere and will return when I get the chance.

11⁄13 — What better way to spend Friday The 13th than at Kreepy Tiki Bar & Lounge for their Degenerate Comedy Show! It was my first time here and I got lost the first time around. I missed the turn to the parking lot. It is right before you get to the place, there is a sign that says Crossfit Empirical. It’s in the back of the lounge. We arrived at 8 p.m. The show was scheduled to start at 8:30pm. The lounge was empty at first aside from some of the staff. We were greeted right away and told we could walk around and check out the tattoo shop next door. We did and every one was so welcoming and friendly. I absolutely love the décor, puffer fish lights, Hawaiian print chairs, tikis, dolls, fish tank, art work, pineapples, etc… It is dimly lit, with red lighting in some areas. We sat at the bar and a beautiful bodacious blonde took care of us. I got Sailor Jerry’s rum and coke with lime. People started coming in and it got crowded quick. The show started later than expected around 9:30 p.m. It was a great show, great crowd. Aside from the awesome liquor selections; they also offer some craft beer selections. I ordered Funky Buddha’s Sweet Potato and Ace Pineapple Cider. I would definitely be back!

First off you have to drive down a dark alley to park in the back and walk through the alley to get to the bar which did not feel safe at all. Weird vibe inside, the drinks were ok but a little to sweet. Staff was friendly, but honestly it’s not worth it.

This is a fun place with interesting line ups. There were a few things that really subtracted from the experience, though. First off, I wanted wine, which was on their menu, but they didn’t seem to have it. Next, I was shocked(when I actually found a battered menu) with the $ 6 bottled or canned beers. By the time you pay the tip and tax, you could almost buy your own 6 pack. And this is after paying a cover for the show. Whew… can’t drink too much or do that very often. I was glad after I found a menu that I hadn’t been able to order the wine because the only prices I could see were about $ 13. I am hoping that was for a bottle but somehow I know it is for a glass. Again, you could buy a super nice bottle of wine for $ 13. The other thing was the poor two bartenders frantically serving a huge crowd. They were doing a good job, yes, but it just seemed like there were way too many people for how many bartenders there were. The other thing is the lack of chairs. It’s hard to stand the whole time during a show, but that was almost one’s only choice. The last thing is with a huge crowd, it can get really claustrophobic in there. Anyways, hope if they continue to have such large crowds, they can bring the alcohol down a notch in prices. This is the Kreepy Tiki Bar not a top of the line exclusive establishment.

This place is a real gem! Great tiki drinks that are made from real fruit juices and quality liquor. The ambience is fantastic. The bar is small but if you get there early enough you can snag a seat at the bar. I had the pleasure of having Demi as our bartender and she was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Great spot for music! Great spot for a drink… or two… or three… This place has a beautiful parlor and tattoo shop that has such an amazing vibe, myself, who doesn’t have a single tat, was even thinking of getting one! We were there to see the Slackers, a magical Ska band from NYC, and the evening was amazing! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Saw the Slackers give a great show there recently. The A/C was definitely not pumping(lets hope that’s a rare occurrence.) If you were dancing you probably sweat off 5−7lbs. I like the bartenders. They were all still friendly through the night even though they had a constant flow of lots of customers. You should check it out.
