The staff was very friendly, the sub man made me a big, thick sub in about two minutes and the price was more than fair… The sub itself was very tasty, fresh, big and exactly what a sub should be. Tip them and hear them ring the bell! I’ll be back.

Succeeded in differentiating themselves as a sub shop. I believe the sweet peppers are the secret sauce. Not easy to find but worth it when you get there.

By far a great sandwich shop reminds me of my Sandwiches from the bodegas on every corner of the Bronx… great job!!!

This is my favorite place for a good sandwich. Where do I start? They cut the meat fresh in front you and have the most tasty assortment of add ons. I have a love affair with their roast beef and sweet peppers. It is the smoothest today beef that I’ve ever had. They are very efficient, and I’m always able to get my hoagie made perfectly in minutes. I live in Dade and constantly look for reasons to travel to Broward for this place. To add a little excitement, the staff throw the meat on to your sub.

Long time South Florida mini-chain with unbelievable subs and friendly counter service! Crazy fresh sliced meats, thick slabs of cheese, all types of toppings, fresh bread, and the best oil-type mixture(sauce) known to man. If you want a thick and juicy sub, get here fast!

Big sandwiches, and a fun crew working the assembly line when you order. I’ve only gotten there once, but am looking to the next time I am nearby to try them again!

Nothing fancy, but excellent quality. More meat than I would expect, good«secret» vinegar dressing, fresh rolls.

We went straight to Laspada’s Original Hoagies after getting off of our cruise ship. My sister had been here before and raved about their sandwiches so I was keen to try it out. My first impression was that I liked how friendly and personable the staff were. We ordered the monster and as you order your sandwich you could see them thinly shaving the roast beef, ham, and turkey. Besides the meat, the sandwich had: pepper jack cheese, sweet peppers, vinegar, herbs, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, and honey mustard all on an Italian loaf. I was surprised by how massive the sandwich ended up being and by the special tuck they do to keep everything neat. I was also blown away by the explosion of flavors. Sweet and savory. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! They should definitely open up a franchise in Atlanta because this was also my last stop before driving 10 hours back home.

First time here, had to see what the hype was about. Had a small roast beef with provolone and it was amazing! The roast beef is freshly sliced, everything tasted fresh and delicious!

Flawless sandwiches. The only reason I can’t do 5 stars is because too many people would read into that 5 star rating and expect more than great hoagies. This is a must try Fort Lauderdale lunch spot!

Great sandwhich, Fresh bread that melts in your mouth. Vegetables are crisp and delicious. Surpassed my high expectations because I have heard so many people talk about this place. You will not be disappointed. Service may be as great as the food, a fun staff.

Laspada’s is not your average«Hoagie» shop. Sure they have a simple menu with deli meats and veggies and such, but be warned that the«Small» surely is a meal and then some. You enter a very simple black and white looking place that is well kept and friendly in that they call out to you asking immediately what you’d like as soon as you enter. They waste no time and make multiple sandwiches at once. They move down an assembly line and work on cheese, condiments, veggies and toppings galore. You arrive at the register where you can ad fun items like an over-sized pickle or a two-brownie or cookie combo. Top it off with a drink and you are good to go. Whether a vegetarian or a carnivorous, meat eating hound, you are sure to have a great time and be satisfied when through here. Plenty of room to sit in and good parking if you are on the go. Laspada’s has it all.

Can’t go wrong with the monster and the mama laspada. The«small» is 8″ and packed with meat and fixings. Best bet is to order with everything… Be warned though, you won’t be able to fit the sandwich in your mouth! Great place to stop for sandwiches before heading to the beach or getting on the road for a long car drive. Definitely a staple and glad we live nearby.

A great place for sandwiches in a very unassuming location in a strip mall. Some co-workers were just getting into Fort Lauderdale for a team meeting, and I wanted something casual, so I ordered a bunch of sandwiches. My favorites were the Italian special and the Monster. These sandwiches were legitimately huge. The meats were tender, not dry at all, and filled with all the right toppings(lettuce, tomato, oil, vinegar, onions, pickles, sweet and hot peppers, and oregano). I slightly preferred the Monster, since I’m a sucker for roast beef, and their slightly marbled roast beef is very tasty. Price-wise, it’s about $ 10 – 12 for the foot-long specialty sandwiches, which is actually a pretty good deal, since the foot-longs are enough for two meals. I took a couple extra sandwiches back to my hotel, and they lasted me the next couple days. For non-specialty sandwiches, it’s about $ 8 – 9, which is a very good deal, in my opinion. Service was very quick and friendly, and the cashier helped pack extra napkins and other utensils. Will definitely go again when I’m back in FTL.

The best hoagie ever! Meat flying. Great bread and I am drooling over the sweet peppers… so fresh! Beware!!! Split even the small. So much food.

This place is the top of many«best of» lists: best sub, best bang for the buck, most entertaining sandwicherie(ok the last one is stretching). Seriously though, this local chain is an institution and would be part of my regular rotation if it were closer to home. My favorite toping is the sweet peppers, but you have to get everything — it’s a package deal. I’ll conclude by saying that I put off visiting for too long, thinking«well I don’t need to go OUT for a sandwich… I can make that at home.» Well you know what? You CAN’T make this at home. Go.

Best sub ever. Go. Go now. You’re welcome! You cannot beat the fresh roast beef, perfectly baked bread and delicious and fresh veggies, not to mention the show provided by them throwing the meat around to everyone. Put it this way, the sub is so good I brought one home to Orlando for myself after eating another one in the store.

These have the be the best subs I have ever had, to the point that if they had a location in Houston, I would frequent it and be really tubby because of it! I have been here twice while in Ft Lauderdale, and both times I have had the turkey with cheese and everything on it, on wheat bread. The bread itself is soft and fresh, but it’s what inside that really blows my mind. Piled high with ingredients, the 8″ sub is a LOT for little ‘ol me and I can throw a smack down on some food with the best of them. Good thing my hotel is across the bridge because I need to walk that food off or go into a carb coma! Tasty tasty tasty! We’ll be back!

Love their Italian subs!!! So much meat! I always get the same sandwich– the Italian Special(Boiled Ham, Genoa Salami, Italian Cappicola, Provolone Cheese) with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, and a mix of hot and sweet peppers. My mouth is watering just thinking about this sandwich! Beware that the small sandwich is still huge! It can be quite difficult to finish one, but you basically have to because it is just so damn good.
