L’Hermitage Catering

Having used L’Hermitage for three catered dinners and recommending them to friends who had the most fabulous cocktail party with outstanding food and service from L’Hermitage, I can only brag about the compliments guests made at at five catered events I have personally had or attended in the last year. The staff is courteous, helpful, the food outstanding… so many good entrees and finger foods make dealing with this company a sheer delight. At one party the baked/​brown sugared bacon was a sensation and almost mysteriously delectable… other items all equally good. As I write this I am hoping to arrange another dinner because the apple pie dessert, poached pear salad, beef short ribs and scalloped potatoes weren’t just good but outstanding. Don’s miss out using one the very best caterers in town.

This catering company has a rude staff and owner, The food is nothing special, The service is like their doing you a favor, food is undercooked, no condiments, cant tell which is worse the food or the attitudes.

I have had the opportunity to have enjoyed the food from L Hermitage Catering twice The food was wonderful! They came to the event on time set a beautiful table, and couldn’t do enough to help make our events great! The Staff was friendly. I loved the food they served! Crostini with goat cheese and balsamic fig. Seared tuna, Spring roll wraps .I didn’t think I would like those but they turned out to be a great item. All in all I will use them again.

I’ve had some of there prepared foods and, frankly speaking, wasn’t all that impressed. As their items vary considerably, particularly if you are having event catered, which since I haven’t, I will refrain from commenting about. However, it is a store that has a very good stock of spices, herbs, and rather unique canned, and jarred as well as some frozen items not easily found elsewhere.
The spices I have purchased here proved to be top of the line in quality and flavor, better than those found in the aisles of Publix and the staff is most helpful and polite with regards to any assistance or answering any questions you may have.

Frozen food passed off as the «Chef’s» creation. Very WEAK!!!

This catering company is a mixed bag, but more to its disfavor than to its favor. The staff and presentation, however, were good.
The chicken was dried and bland, the chicken sticks were cold, desserts a little too sweet, wraps (tuna, chicken curry, turkey and cheese) were bland, bread was plain, butter too salty, and the bar didn’t have amaretto or real ingredients to make a mojito.
Other than that, it’s okay. But I can’t say I would be willing to get this catering company’s services again.
