Horrendous. Used to order from here all the time. Place had fairly fresh ingredients and good portion sizes. Just picked-up lunch for five people. New staffing. Every portion size is down. Soups have become thin and runny. Egg and chicken salads were clearly FROZEN the night before, were still half-frozen, and as anyone with half a brain knows you can’t freeze egg salad, it turns into a foul, runny slop. Thoroughly disgusted, threw it all out. Definitely a never ever go-to again…

I think super friendly customer service is probably the only thing that is one of the few bright spots stopping this from being a 1-star experience. A super sweet accommodating young lady trying to make my experience better despite Murphy’s Law in effect for this small takeout salad/sub place. Despite not a lot of reviews for this place the overall rating for it was pretty high and as my reviews indicate I enjoy myself a good salad. This place has a pretty easy to navigate online web portal that I had perused in the past and I immediately knew what I wanted. I wanted to try out their Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, which I customized by adding red onions and black olives(two things I will add to anything if given the option) and some cookies(they had a deal on 3). Overall it wasn’t too expensive and it was clear what additions would cost what and it all felt fair. I place my order for pick up and after a few minutes I head out. I’m around the corner and I get a phone call from the aforementioned young lady saying there were some issues with my order. The first is that they don’t have chicken cooked. On one hand I feel a brief appreciation that maybe the food here isn’t pre-cooked, on the other many of their menu options feature chicken. After running through some of the potential options I decide Gyro meat might sound good. They also don’t have parmesan cheese, so I decide to go full-on Greek and ask for some feta on the side. I underestimated how quickly I would get there form my office, so I walk in knowing it’s not going to be ready. I had apparently driven past this location hundreds of times, however the storefront isn’t very distinctive as they reside next door to an Empanada place(that might be owned by the same person judging by how their storefronts blend into one another, and seem to have each others’ menus for display on the front counter). Even pulling in I could barely tell that they were two different restaurants. Also a quick note to potential customers: there is NO place to sit in and eat. This is fine for the area it’s in as they do free delivery and probably do a lot of work with near by offices but if you’re expecting even a small table outside to enjoy your meal you won’t find it. Unfortunately walking in and seeing them assembling my salad I notice what I feel is a huge cardinal sin for a restaurant. I see them taking my gyro meat and microwaving it. I don’t expect that a salad place is going to be cutting gyro meat fresh from a spit but microwaving it is bad, there’s gotta be some other way to warm up food. It also makes me wonder how they didn’t have chicken prepared? On my way back I reach into my bag and grab a cookie and reach in to feel a cold, hard cookie. This thing had been sitting in at least a fridge, maybe even in a freezer. When I get back to my office it appears to be a cookie that at least wasn’t pre-packaged, was at one point in time home baked but maybe a little bit overcooked and as I said frozen, leaving it a hard mess. A microwave barely salvaged it but only barely, overall these were not good cookies. The salad itself was of decent size, pretty solid ingredients and a good creamy Caesar dressing, but the gyro meat aside from being microwaved also just wasn’t that good and there wasn’t a lot, which wasn’t such a bad thing in hindsight. Part of me wants to give this place a try because of the nice previously mentioned young lady assured me it was simply an off day for them coming back from vacation. It was fairly priced, so we’ll see.

Love this place! Healthy, versatile, and fresh. I usually order delivery to my job. Staff is courteous, food is fresh. Delivery does take the full 45 mins they advertise but it is so worth it. You can pick your side. I personally pick to broccoli/cheese soup. It is sooooo good!!! You can pick the condiments/vegetables/etc and put it in any type of sub, wrap, pita. You basically create your own meal! Add what you want… Love this place! Wish I could eat here daily!

Salads Plus used to be somewhere I frequently ordered from when I was located in Fort Lauderdale. Their staff is organized and friendly. Their food is always fresh and their portions are large. It can be pricey but isn’t almost everything these days? Easily their portions can be split with someoe making it affordable. Fave items: Tuna Melt, Turkey Melt, Brocolli & Cheese Soup.

Grabbed a salad over here yesterday as I was running some errands near my work. I had the chef salad, which was not cheap(most salads are around $ 8), but the portion was huge. The salad contained a ton of ham and turkey and cheese — almost too much. You could probably split one of the salads between two people or, since they give you the dressing on the side, you could eat half and half later. I think that’s what I’ll do next time. It was good though. Anyway, apparently most of their business is delivery or catering. I was a «lobby order» and I was in and out of there in about 5 minutes. They also do sandwiches, wraps, etc. It’s located on the corner of 31st and Prospect Rd, next to a 7 – 11 and next to a latin place called Empanadas.
