Tiny little candy stored packed with all sorts of candy and novelty items. If you are looking for a hard to find candy, this is your place. I have only been here once, so haven’t had the full experience of checking out the entire store. The prices are very reasonable for what they have. So this is a value type of place. I would be scared to come with a child, because they would want everything in the store. I know, because I want everything in the store.

So much more than just a candy store! It’s really a novelty store with candy, cookies, games, cards, ornaments, and MORE! I came here because I heard of a game called«Beanboozled» which is by Jelly Belly. I was hosting a game night at my house and knew this had to be part if it! I checked locally but stores in my area did not have it. I called To The Moon and of course they had it! I had a blast looking at everything they had to offer and then I saw it… I’d searched for it forever. I gave up. I thought it was a myth; a legend but alas it was there– Red Velvet Oreo Cookies!!! The cookies were great and the game was a blast! Best part was when Savanna M got«Skunk Spray» instead of black licorice!

This place has me going back to it over and over again. It’s non-stop nostalgia after seeing all the candies and gifts around it. Every time I’m around the area, I have to make a stop to purchase a small bag of multiple goodies; whether it’s sweets or one of their quirky items, everything there is worth a buy. I literally found out about this place after having a quick bite at a nearby grilled cheese spot. The name alone drew me to it «To the Moon”– reminds me of outer space or the honeymooners line«To the Moon, Alice!». Once you walk in, it’s overwhelming but in a very good way– you’ll be non-stop saying«oh my god! I remember this! I remember that!» And, the best of it all is how late the place is opened to, till 1am– so if you’re ever in a fix for old school candies or fun gift buys, stop by!

The most unique and fun store to peruse and shop at in Ft. Lauderdale(Wilton Manors). Every type of candy you recall from your childhood can be found here, along with the most hilarious cards and magnets ever made, cute chatchkas, and funny gag gifts. It’s sure to bring a smile and you won’t leave empty handed, whether for yourself or because you found something that you just *had* to get for a friend because you knew it would make them laugh too. :) (Notes: Only reason not five stars is because it is very crowded and a little treacherous to navigate. Free parking in back.)

You need to buy a gift for someone? I know the place and it’s To the Moon. I have been coming here since I’ve moved to Florida and have gave them countless dollars on wonderful gifts and candy. Walking in feels sort of like you’re trapped in an episode of Hoarders– there are things everywhere! And when you move something, there are even more things under that! It’s never ending, but in a good way because the stuff is cool. Some things can be pricey, but you can find really best items for cheap. They have greeting cards, lunch pales, Chocolates and candies from all over the world and from decades ago, superhero memorabilia(which is my go-to), books, and some naughty gifts too. Honestly, the variety is so huge that I could list things here all day and probably still miss something. Pretty much anything you can think of under one tiny little roof. The owner is really knowledgeable and willing to answer all of your questions. They even do special orders if they can. I have gone in here countless times looking for that perfect gift for that person who I don’t know what to buy and I’ve always come out with a gift for them! This is a place where you can spend countless hours there just looking around and browsing(and spending money of course). I believe they still have a check in offer for 10% off a $ 20 purchase so make sure you check in. And feel free to buy me something next time you’re there. I’ve been wanting the lollipop tea diffusor.

I felt like I’m a kid again in that store. They have candies and chocolates from all over the world and from every decade of my life and I was born in the 80’s.

This place is a childhood dream come true! Candy I love, candy my family used to get, candy I’ve never even heard of! In addition to fun and funny gifts, cards, statuary, mugs… But if you decide to go… STOPEVERYTHINGANDLISTENTOME. You simply must try the locally made milk chocolate sea salt caramels. They are soft and chewy, thoroughly addictive, and worthy of your happiest dreams at night! Seriously. Forget about sugarplum fairies dancing in your head while you dream – I’d rather have the milk chocolate sea salt caramels!

Antonio decided to claim my review was false in a comment below– then went on to admit it was 100% true and that he is a «rude» person toward his customers(his actual words). He says its false on the basis that he is the owner and not a manager. My bad, but he manages the store on a daily basis so… doesn’t that make him the owner/manager? I think just by his volatile comments and the previous reviews noting his attitude(and racist remarks toward Hassan), we can all agree what an awful business owner he is. My advice: do NOT enter this store and contribute to his vile behavior. Its never okay. I will amend my original story to say he IS the owner and NOTJUST the manager, although it changes nothing about my experience here. He signs off as the«Candyman» which is very becoming to him– in a Dean Arnold Corll sense.

I picture Candy Land looking a lot like this raging, fun, and clustered Sweets Shop! The outside of the shop can lead you to believe many things. To the Moon can refer to Space Suits, Packaged & Dried Foods, or quite possibly any and every candy you can remember from you past coming to the future! Parking is always easy and accessible with metered street parking and also a back lot(free) then going in their back door! Hehe! Once inside you are hit with an overwhelming feeling! You want to be look in EVERY corner, crevice, and under everything(tables, other candies, EVERYWHERE). For the first timer you will find Chocolates, Licorice, Gummies, Old Time Candies, Sugar Free Candy, Seasonal Candies, International Candy, Local Candies, Greeting Cards, Nic-Nac’s, and more! This is all under the 1,100 square foot store so you can imagine the possibilities! For me though there are a lot of holdback here with the quality of what you are actually receiving once you go home(or in the car) and open up that much anticipated candy item. Prices are not cheap so I expect top quality. I have bought Almond Bark but once actually getting them home and biting into the chocolate realizing that these are peanuts. This container actually contained ½ and ½ with Peanuts & Almonds. Weird. My husband loves Licorice so we always get atleast one fun flavored Licorice but they seem to always taste old or are sticky stuck all together. This has also happened with a couple of Chocolates in the plastic containers tasting old or indifferent. Do not let this deter you; just be warned! You can really find some awesome things in this store for special occasions, gifts, or a treat night for yourself! There is always a 10% off your total with Check In but make sure they actually use it. They are not the fondest of the deal as the owner acted like he used the deal during our last visit then when looking at the receipt it was clear he did not.

Every kind of candy you can imagine! Pop rocks, buck eyes jelly beans and then a wall of gag gifts novelty items and so many fun socks! The story of the store comes from the Honeymooners — they are Brooklyn too! So fun in here! Plus 10% discount with checkin

Been coming here for awhile now. I love their sugar free selections, their chocolates from around the world & their hysterically inappropriate cards & unique gifts. If you don’t have a sense of humor this store is not for you. But if you like finding some fun gifts, cards & candies then check it out. I only wish the shop had a little more space because it can get really tight walking through certain areas.

Man what an amazing little store. Walking in here can be a little overwhelming in two ways — 1) There is a TON jam packed into a pretty small store… so if your claustrophobic this won’t be the ideal place for you. 2) You will be overcome by a smack in the face of good old nostalgia. What do I mean by that? Well… Here you can find all of your childhood favorites. Remember the paddle with the rubber ball? That’s just the tip of the iceberg. How about Simon Says? The little tubes with gunk in it that you put at the end of a straw and blow bubbles with it… YES! The one that smells like paint thinner. THATONE! I know right?! Those were awesome! A ton of Star Wars and Star Trek items from lunch boxes to figurines. Pez dispensers. and it goes on and on. Not to mention the insane selection of candy. Remember Bazooka gum? Fun Dip? Unique flavors of M&Ms? Gourmet chocolates? They have everything here! They also have specialty sodas — I think I saw a bacon flavored soda? Really there is way too much to remember. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He helped me look through the entire store hunting for some fun 90’s themed items. It seemed like he was genuinely glad to just show off his store and help customers find the hidden gems. If you are looking for a fun birthday gift or some unique snacks… you know where to go!

Such a cute little candy store! They have a wide variety of candy, from older brands to newer brands. They make most of their packaged chocolates in house or locally, which is awesome. The guy working there was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about his products. My only complaint is that I totally forgot to check in to get the 10% off my total! Whoops… there’s always next time.

There are many… many… many types of candy. Retro, Chocolate, gummy, British, rare, hard to find, limited candy everywhere. Metal lunch boxes by the front door. Super hero section. Some sections not kid friendly. Great shop!

I love all things candy, sexually explicit and chocolate, so this place is right up my alley and friggin’ rocks! 1st visit: The night before I left for Mexico I came in on a search to find Peanut Chews for my friend as a surprise gift. I found them and brought a container. He was ecstatic and I got a lot of cool points. We ate them the entire time while in Mexico. 2nd visit: Came in when my mom was in town so she could take a trip down memory lane… and boy what a trip it was. She was in her glory buying candy that I had no clue as to what it was. Each piece she picked up came with a childhood story. She loved it. Other notes: Antonio is a really cool guy with good energy. Great selection of adult themed cards and such. Plenty of parking in the back lot. Next door to NY Grilled cheese CO. So many classic goodies and drinks. Remember TAB soda?

Years ago I met Antonio, the owner of To The Moon. He told me about his family ties to the Honeymooners(his parents’ names, his sister’s vocation, etc.) and how that influenced the name of the candy store. That’s cool but what makes this incredibly overstuffed shop impressive is the amount of vintage and hard-to-find candy! I recently bought Chips, Italian licorice drops, that my grandfather ate when I was a kid! The inventory includes candy created from the 1800’s to the present so you’ll see candy from your youth and that of past generations of your family! He also has unique flavors of candy(like carrot cake flavored M&Ms that sold out FAST) and racks of food/candy from Europe so if you want a piece of food from a place you went on vacation or where you used to live you’ll find it here! Half of the store is devoted to off-color gift items ranging from magnets to statues, and everything in-between. I’ve purchased a variety of items for co-workers and friends and they’ve loved ‘em! For a recent UYE I purchased candy from Mexico — and Antonio had an assortment of items from which to choose! He even got on the phone, after checking his computer for warehouse inventory, and called vendors to see what other candy he could find for me. He made calls as if I needed candy for hundreds of people! He’s just a wonderful and nice guy! I’ve entered the store from the Wilton Manners Drive entrance and the back entrance through the parking lot so it’s convenient to shop at the store because of the parking options. The store is open into the night so don’t be surprised if it’s packed on date night! The only negative is that the candy and inventory is stocked to the rafters — he has 20,000 square feet of inventory in a Cracker Jack box sized store. Every time you shuffle your feet forward your eyes will see 200 new items. Just know that the candy is organized by year and type for the most part — and then shoved into every space after that! I love feeling like a kid again by seeing the treats of my childhood and for giving that experience to my family and friends by way of gifting them shopping sprees! I’m running low on Grandpa’s candy — and considering that the candy has 2.5 calories each, I’ll be making a candy run soon!

I ditto what other 5 star reviews say. We walked in and was given the royal first timer treatment, the condensed store overview/history. He was AWESOME, funny and amazingly helpful, I was on a mission for special Halloween Candy and he was A sweetie PRO! They have all sorts of novelty things, I bought two pairs of those knee high socks that have the words on them… one pair says«ninja», the other says«#&$+%» Lol! Warning: if you bring kids, there are some adult-centric things around the store. Hubby told me later he saw special rings hanging on the wall by the cashiers head… I totally missed that. Lol!

What’s not to love about a walk down candy lane? To the Moon has it all; nostalgic candy, candies from across the globe, and lots of fun gifts. You can’t help but smile and say«wow, remember this!?!» all over the store. It is pretty small place, but it is packed with stuff, maybe those with OCD should stay far, far away. If you can’t find something you are looking for, don’t be afraid to ask. Some items are not on the shelves and if the owner doesn’t have it, he will find a way. Love this place!
