I wrote something bad about this restaurant but I made a mistake. The place I got mad at was the one located next door. The waiter Todo was so nice to us and the food was good.

Classic staple of Wilton Manors, food quality is consistently savory and never a bad experience. Maybe a bad waiter now and then, depending on their mood. Other than such overall friendly environment and good food!!!

Ambience. C Service. A Food. A Price. A A no nonsense diner. Little musty smelling with kitchy décor. Service is always cracking up and friendly. Fast and quick. Food options have been great for a variety of diner options. I’ve had the salmon Benedict with home cooked potatoes. Nice tastes and the eggs were beautifully poached! Love the options of capers accompanied. Tonight trying burger nite. It’s a half pound of meat! Ouch! I ordered with the grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. Separated apart as it was going to get too big to hold anyway. So created a deconstructed cheese sandwich turkey burger with all the accompanied sides separated. The server accommodated my request. Yea!!! Nice for everyday brunch breakfast too.

The service and food quality seems to have gone down a bit. My omelette, which was still chock full of ingredients, was barely warm and the cheese wouldn’t melt. I got the wrong type of cheese and the amount of tater tots was reduced to about 10. As for«straight friendly», I don’t feel accepted here. I came here with my girlfriend and they completely ignored us for about 20 minutes till we stopped someone and asked for menus. It was by that busy either…

Server: «What type of toast would you like with that? We have: White, wheat, english muffin…» Me: «Do you have sourdough?» Server: «You must be from California. #1 question I get from Californians.» This FREAKING place!(that’s a good thing) Right smack dab in the middle of Wilton Manors located conveniently on the drive with FREEPARKING!(WTH, Florida with your pay for parking everywhere?!! It must be cause there’s no state tax… anyway) Besides Peter Pan diner in Oakland Park, this is my #1 place to go get breakfast/brunch when I’m back visiting my second home in the FLL. The servers are friendly and will joke around with you. The food is delicious and you get decent sized portions. One of the few places where I can find tater tots AND fried green tomatoes on the menu. Anytime I’ve come here, from early in the morning to stumbling in here after the bars on a Friday night, they’ve always been consistent and great. Always look out for the specials board, because you could get a bunch more food for less than you’d find on the menu if it’s a special day. Best part about this place is that it’s open pretty much whenever I am hungry… and that’s all the time. Stars for you Courtyard Café! ALLTHESTARS!!! Bottom line: Friendly Service, Consistent Quality, Hard to find Breakfast items, Decent Price.

Went here on saturday night around 2am looking to grab a bite to eat on the way home. We walked in and noticed no one in the courtyard so we grabbed a spot and after waiting for 10 – 15 mins, I had to get up and go actually ask the server if it was ok to sit out there and we were told«yes». So. we sat for another 10mins and finally our server shows up to our table. This would be the first and last visit we would receive from him at our table. So, he comes and gets our food and drink order then goes away. 20 mins goes by and some other kid comes out to drop off our very mediocre food. I ask that guy for the condiments I’ll need who says«I’ll be right back» and he never comes back, so I(once again) have to get up and go walk inside and find my server and ask him for the condiments. So I now go back and start to eat the bland crappy joke of food these guys were putting out. I have eaten here before a while back and it was good, but we got a double whammy of shit service and food. So, I eat about half of that crap before I decide to throw in the towel. Of course, by now I already know that this server is never going to come back to the table, so now for the third or fourth time, I have to take it upon myself to go into the restaurant and get my own f’n check. The only thing I got from this tool in the weeds was«uh, sorry, it really busy». If it were bad food and good service or good food and bad service, there would be something to return for, but getting both bad food and egregiously shitty service leaves me with no reason to return here. At least Peter Pan is right up the street.

#55 What a charming little café! I traveled all the way to south Florida only to find a place that could easily be situated in San Francisco. I parked on the street, right out front. I walked into the little café and was met with a super friendly greeting. This place is San Francisco community meets southern hospitality. My companions and I chose a table and got comfortable while we waited for our server. A wonderfully cheery man came over and offered us beverages and menus. We ordered tomato juice, orange juice, apple juice and a coffee. While our server was grabbing our drinks we looked around the establishment. The clientele was wonderful, the décor was charming, the wine selection was incredible for this little south Florida café. We perused the menu and each located the perfect selection. We ordered pancakes, potato hash, egg all kinds of ways: over easy, scrambled, poached, over medium. We also had grits – this is why I love the south – GRITS! I think the only thing I could not find on the menu was fried green tomato, but I was only looking at the breakfast menu, maybe I could have located it on one of their other menus. Everything was amazing. From the service, to the food, seriously AMAZING!!! Stephani Smiles for Courtyard Café ;)

What a hefty portion! Southern cooking at its finest! We had a HUGE portion of biscuits and gravy so heavy! The fried green tomatoes were alright, not one of my favorites. I hear the burgers are amazing and they have tons of specials like two for Tuesday’s appetizers and dinner combos!

Delicious hidden gem! Try one of the specials. Nice outdoor seating area in courtyard setting. Homemade corned beef hash w home fries was a great choice. Biscuit was also amazing! Definitely recommend for breakfast/brunch.

Located on Wilton Dr. with orange painting on the exterior and a diner-café atmosphere inside, this is where you will find some of the tastiest breakfast dishes you have had! Best spot in the house is at the bar-top where you can let the«boys» aka servers entertain you; beware PG13+! :) Open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday and until 3am on Sunday’s this makes for an excellent end of the night late-night eats! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day at anytime but for some reason between the hours of 9pm-2am it just taste soo much better! I always get the same dish as it is my guilty pleasure! The Country Griddle is a WINNER! You must substitute the Hash Browns for Tater Tots for Maximum Pleasure! Parking has never been a problem for us since they have a big free lot in the back along with metered parking out front. If parking in the rear there is an entrance in the back walking into their large patio that can hold a big party. The inside is not all that big but has a lot of tables and a bar top you can sit at. The menu not only has breakfast but Salads, Burgers, Platters, and Sandwiches making it a great spot for any type of craving. Baked Goods, they also have these including Cookies, Muffins, Brownies, and More! Our favorite has by far been the moist, chocolatity goodness of the Brownie! The TOTS are calling my name! Enjoy~

Our favorite late night breakfast spot! We have been going to this spot to satisfy our 1am breakfast needs for the past year and I can’t stay away. Typically I order 2 breakfast platters an order of chili cheese fries and my wife tells the server which part of the meal I really don’t need. Breakfast choices are good and I recently had a Ruben which was really good for a diner. I don’t really order burgers at places like this but yesterday I had a Hawaiian Burger which was quite good and pineapple came on a skewer which I’ve never seen before. The staff is friendly and sitting at the bar is always entertaining. Don’t forget to order from their selection of baked goods on the way out! Parking is in the back and they have both indoor and a large outdoor seating area that can accommodate groups of 15 or more.

Breakfast at midnight? Yep I’m in… although I was probably slightly easier to convince after beers to celebrate Katie and Me finally turning the big 30! A large group of ~15 of us headed over and grabbed a few of the tables outside on the courtyard. Very cute spot and I never once felt hot. The group started out with some toys and fried green tomatoes to share. The tots were great but I’m kind of torn on the tomatoes. These were slightly crunchier than any others I’ve had before, so I’m not sure if this is how unripe the tomatoes should be or not, but regardless, good taste. Next up, breakfast lol. Ok I think Ang was the only one who went with a lunch option, but the rest of us did breakfast and I was shocked at the $ 6.99 price tag for the create your own option giving you 3 selections! French toast, grits and sausage and I was a happy camper! I haven’t ordered French Toast for myself in years but it was my birthday so carbs be damned lol. It was great! Service was great and our server did a great job checking on us frequently and handling such a large group. I’d happily come back here for another breakfast meal, either late night or at the proper time lol. I should note the parking. I wasn’t able to grab and meter out front or find a spot out back, but found the big public lot 2 blocks down the road to be not a bad walk.

I must confess that in my 26 years living here in South Florida, I have never eaten at any place in Wilton Manors, although I have driven through many times, but everyone was telling me this little city has some of the best restaurants in all of South Florida. So when a group of us decided to go eat here for a evening breakfast after Savanna and Katie’s Dirty 30 party at Funky Buddha I was all in. Parking is either street(good luck finding), behind the building where it is located or in the main city lot 2 blocks north. I decided to park in the main city lot and walk to the restaurant. This restaurant has 2 seating areas(the main dining) and a courtyard out back, which is where the group sat. We ordered a full serving of fried green tomatoes, which we all shared. I personally love fried green tomatoes and these were no exceptions with the breading and just the right perfect of breading; it felt like I was eating a fried pickle. For the main course I had«The Mess» which consisted of 2 scrambled eggs mixed together with bacon, ham, and sausage, with a side of home potatoes and toast. The mix of the meats and eggs was fabulous. The only thing I forgot to request was some hot sauce to go with it. Even without the hot sauce, the dish was still delicious. This is a wonderful place to come eat and have a nice breakfast anytime during the day.

Thanks to Unilocal!I am so glad we found another great place for breakfast. We bookmarked this place for a while but we never got around paying a visit until this day. We walked in and this place looks like a local hangout. The wait staff knows most of the customer by name, and some of the waiters looked like they’ve been working there for a long time. Our waiter(I think his name was Bob but I couldn’t remember it now) was great. He serviced us with a big smile and recommended dishes for us to try out. First thing we tried was their grits sticks. It was lightly breaded and fried nicely. I don’t like grits much but my wife said it was so good she could eat that thing all day! I was feeling like for something light so I ordered their BLT sandwich. It might not sound very exciting but the sandwich was very good! I love bacons so that was the star in my dish. My wife tried their country fried country steak with eggs. She loved the gravy on top of the mash potatoes and the steak. The steak was fried perfectly with great flavors. For $ 8.25 that’s a bargain. My wife told me she loved the food so much, she just might make me to take her back again next weekend. Great food, great service and reasonably priced, why not?

Came here with a group of 5 at around 1:30 in the morning late Sunday /early Monday on Memorial Day weekend. The dining area was full aside from maybe 1 or 2 open tables, and since the remaining tables inside only seated 4, we went out to the courtyard where no one from the staff even came through for the 5 minutes we were seated there. We decided to go back inside, and this time found an open table for our group. We had a seat and were given menus and waters after a few minutes, but it did take a while for our server to come by and take our orders. Though our selections were simple enough, it also felt like it took longer than it should’ve for our food to arrive. I had the turkey club with bacon and a side of slaw, and everything was very good. The price was right as well, at $ 8 and change before tax and gratuity. The Courtyard Café offers a diner-type experience for lunch or dinner, and it’s perfect for late night eats after an evening of hitting a few of the bars on Wilton Drive. On this holiday weekend when the grilled cheese place closed early and Humpy’s was also closed, this restaurant was really the only option. Fine for what it was but the service and speed a bit lacking, for this experience it gets 3 stars for«A-OK».

The Courtyard Café serves one of the best diner-style breakfasts you can get in the Fort Lauderdale area. I know this because I have had *a lot* of breakfasts in South Florida, on a kind of eternal quest. Things are really hopping here on weekends, but it was still possible for us to find a table. It could have been that we are just lucky, or it might have something to do with it being after Easter and all the snowbirds have gone home to the frozen Northern Reaches of this, and other, continents. I’ve got to say that our server Danny wins the spirit award. While everyone was friendly, Danny’s mission seemed to be putting a smile on our faces. His good humour and enthusiasm is catching. The coffee is nothing special – standard diner brew. I had the homemade corned beef hash with some eggs and country potatoes, all of which was lovely. They also serve corned beef from the can, for those who have developed a taste for that sort of thing. I would definitely go back to the Courtyard Café and I will most certainly recommend it to my friends.

I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while and was recently able to convince my boyfriend to try it. We arrived on a Sunday around brunch time and the place was PACKED, both inside and patio. The place appears to have pretty regular clientele, although unlike in Blue’s review all the staff were behaving and speaking professionally while I was there. We ordered the Hungry Bear to split between the two of us which was just the right amount of food. For us, the meal consisted of home fries, scrambled eggs, four sausage links and two biscuits in a sausage gravy. The food was really good and aside from some salt & pepper on the eggs, everything had nice flavor. Their sausage gravy must either contain little dairy or no dairy at all as my boyfriend has a pretty strong allergy to the stuff and was fine. We both left feeling full but not disgusting because we over ate. The best part is that the meal and a pop was only about $ 11 before tip. Can’t do much better than that! The place is clean although the inside dinning space feels just a tad tight for the number of tables they have. The outside patio area is a less crowded.

Sat inside and had a diner feel to it. The shirts say they are«straight friendly» which was funny, they are located in Wilton manors. I had the country griddle. Scrambled eggs with peppers, onions and mushrooms over tater tots with sausage gravy on top. Overall the food was decent. Posting a half eaten picture because I forgot.

I love this place. The staff is always great. Ive had a hit and miss with the eggs but I think I forgot to order cheese in them. I’ve only ever had breakfast, so I cant comment on any of the other food. Mimosa was strong and good. Coffee is always good. Biscuits are usually good but greasy. Waffles are also yummy. Their scramblers come with 3 eggs and are huge, unless its a special, then they seem smaller.
