GullWing Beach Resort

Very spacious and clean room. Easy beach access. Excellent desk staff, very helpful. All mechanicals worked perfectly. Small but well equipped fitness room. During winter months, best to have southern exposure or gulf view. No bar or restaurant on property, which is quiet. (there are tiki bars 5 minute walk away)

Decent accommodations. Nice staff. Rooms are well maintained. Dismal water pressure. If internet access is a must bring your own. Good location in the middle of the island. Rental condos so bring your own food! They have complimentary grills as well. Checkout is 1000 and they will charge you to extend. Beware of beach umbrella rentals: they often take your chairs up if you aren’t occupying them. So if you leave and plan to come back let the steward know.

I loved this place. Went with my girlfriend and another couple and can say everyone enjoyed there stay at the Gullwing. The room was massive, everything was clean, kitchen came packed with appliances and the washer/​dryer was a nice touch. They met every need we asked for and went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend staying here, the service is outstanding!

High class, gorgeously decorated condo. Everything you could want and spectacular views of Gulf and Estero Bay. Nice quiet location on south end of the island. Shopping, dining and bus stop, just steps away. Clean, modern and updated appliances in suite.
My one bad experience was a false fire alarm and evacuation early morning. Was very disruptive and the alarm blasted long after we were told to return to our rooms and that it was a malfunction.
Friendly and accommodating desk staff. Small work out room, roof top tennis court beautiful pool and powder sugar beach.

Spacious and modern apartments nicely situated on the beach. Good price-​performance ratio. Grocery (Publix) store and a handful of restaurants close by.

Stayed here for Thursday-​Sunday as part of a larger family reunion. The were very accommodating of our 40+ group, with plenty of larger rooms for us all to gather. The rooms aren’t terribly interesting, but provide plenty of space. Flat screen tv’s coffee makers, etc. Plumbing seemed to need an upgrade as two toilets in the same unit got clogged up, although staff was quick to respond to the situation. Shower didn’t work and ended up taking baths or using the other shower in the unit. Pool seemed nice enough, but with the one outdoor grill… it got a bit crowded. Beach access was easy enough.
Overall, I suppose it was alright, but there are a dozen «resorts» exactly like the Gullwing lining the beach. Not much ability to walk anywhere for nightlife or food… ft Myers beach is entirely car centric, but I suppose bicycling would be easy enough… although I didn’t see anywhere you could rent a bicycle.

I had a fantastic experience at Gull Wing. The name is misleading, it may qualify as a result, but it feels more like an isolated condominium. The vibe is very laid back here. The purpose of my trip was to escape, recuperate, and relax. When I opened the door to my «room,» I started laughing because I realized the ridiculous amount of space at my disposal. It was a spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bath condominium, filled with a large outdoor balcony, a master bedroom with its own separate shower and jacuzzi, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. As I was traveling alone for this trip, I couldn’t believe this was all to myself. It was everything I needed and wanted. Restaurants are within driving distance, but I found myself at the Publix less than a mile north from the Gull Wing in order to grocery shop and cook in for myself. Pool access was downstairs. Beach access was downstairs. And if you’re worried about fighting for space at either the pool or the beach, don’t worry, there’s room for everyone. This place is perfect for singles, couples, or families, who are looking to get away but still feel comfortable. Relax, relax, relax. If you aren’t relaxed by the end of your time here, there’s something wrong with YOU!

Great family gathering at reasonable prices. 2bed/​2bath condos — full large kitchen & spacious living & dining area. Large master suite w/​jacuzzi tub. Down side –No daily room service or maids or conceirge but friendly staff & clean. Elevators small & take long. Beach is a bit of a walk. All in all a good family get away. Publix around the corner & great restaurant in same plaza called Bayfront bistro

I stayed here last summer for one week with my daughter. It is right on the beach, and is one of the best vacations that I ever had. I wanted to go back there this summer, but I just couldn’t afford it.
I rented a two bedroom condo with a bay view. The place was so nice. You have all the conforts of home. A nice size kitchen. We did most of our cooking there to save money. There are also a lot of nice restaurants in walking distance.
There was a very nice pool area with gas grills to cook on. The Beach itself was very nice. It is not overly crowded. They also had Tennis Courts, but in the middle of August, it is too hot for that.
I can’t wait to go back. I’m pretty sure that I paid about $ 1500.00 for the week. I wanted to go back this summer for two weeks, but times are getting tough right now. I’m going to save for next year.
This was one of the most relaxing vacations ever. I highly recomend Gullwing Beach Resort!!!
