To get to the beach you have to wade through about 50 yards of disgusting tidal water filled with green slime and all the birds use it as a toilet probably could catch a bunch of nasty diseases. The 5 – 6 condos, resorts, hotels in this location need to shell out some bucks an either put in a boardwalk or or a shell/sand raised walkway to get to the beach. We are local residents and its been this way for years! Its a shame because the resort gets 4 stars, very nice and clean. Needs some updating but overall nice place. Check out is 10am! Thats just being rude to your guests! Also the beds in Penthouse unit 1603 are hard as a rock… Not good!

The Pointe Estero Beach Resort is a nice place to stay for one night or how ever long your going to stay at this resort. The pool gets busy during the mid afternoon time with hotel guest here at the resort. There is two BBQ grills next to the pool with TV room as well also there is a tennis court for people to play tennis. Also if your a work out buff or want to look good there is a gym located on first floor. There is stairs and two elevators, hotel check in, grocery carts and carts for luggage to bring up to your room or when you get ready to leave. The rooms are nice but kind of out dated the porch are nice and screened in for safety for kids. Free WIFI for hotel guest only also WIFI at the pool which is really nice. Also if you want a snack or soda there is a snack machine and soda machine by the pool deck area. Keep in mind there is no breakfast serve here just coffee only which is a bummer also there is no restaurant on site which really sucks but there are many choosing of restaurant’s on the beach or in town if you can’t find a place to park. Also there is no Lifeguard on site for the pool so watch over your children or family members while they are in the pool. Also a reminder some of the hotel guest especially the men wear really speedos or cut off shorts cut really low there’s already been a complaint I’ve heard about some of the hotel male guest wearing these speedos and cut off short shorts. I’ve seen two of them yesterday at the pool some of the other guest were like that’s disgusting. Over all, this is a nice beach resort I just wish they had a inside restaurant just like other hotels/beach resorts have inside of they’re places.

I loved this place! Beautiful views, so peaceful, just what I needed for my vacay! Very spacious and the jacuzzi was huge! Gotta come back soon!

I’ve stayed at Pointe Estero twice this summer: once with my boyfriend’s family and once with my my family. I love this resort for two main reasons: the cleanliness of the units and the friendliness of the staff. I prefer the beach front view unit we stayed at recently compared to the gulf view we were given when we stayed with my boyfriend’s family. My only issue with this resort is confusion when booking a room. My boyfriend’s family had booked a beachfront view as well, but were given a gulf view instead. Even after we spoke to management, we could be given the room they originally booked. On the upside, the gulf view room on the 16th floor has a cozy alcove perfect for beach reading that connects to a rooftop balcony with two beach chairs, ideal for tanning and drinking your morning coffee. All room issues aside, I would stay at this resort again.

Stayed here for 2 days recently and enjoyed it immensely. The views of the beach and sunsets are worth a stay there itself. Would recommend anyone looking for a beach rental in FMB to check out this place.

Awesome place with great gulf views, we came here for a friends wedding and stayed for 4 nights, the rooms/apartments are great for an extended stay with great facilities and ocean front position.

We recently got engaged here while staying in an oceanfront one bedroom suite. The room was beautiful with an excellent view of the sunset. I could not get over the size of the bathtub, which was like a small swimming pool with jets. Super romantic! I could not have asked for more on our special night away.

Am just now returning from a having spent a week at the Pointe Estero Resort. This was a mix of business and pleasure and I was fortunate enough to bring my family down to relax and enjoy. Reasonably priced, ideally located and the staff made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. I honestly had a hard time pulling myself away of this little slice of paradise to get my work done(I did but with remorse). Am looking forward to my return next year, although we are planning on staying at least a few more days as our week ended too quickly.

My good friend had her wedding on the beach on Sweetest Day. It was the sweetest wedding to attend ever. She stayed in the top suite with a patio /deck and great view. The wedding was sweet, easy going, and catered dining was perfect. Good times! Great resort.

We rented a 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 6 for the weekend for my sons 2nd Birthday. This place was very nice. Not modern but great for a beach place. Nice kitchen stocked with EVERYTHING, I could have baked a cake and made a 5 course meal. Huge hot tub in the master bath as well. Even has a washer and a dryer in room. The pool area is very nice and the pool is salted instead of Chlorine and has 2 shallow ends which is nice for kids. This is NOT a party spot but a great family place with great views and great ammenities. Also during the off season it is CHEAP. we paid $ 139 a night!
