I used to love to shop at the Berkeley and Jensen store in Massachusetts, but once the membership fees started rising, I left the wholesale business and never looked back. Once I moved down to Florida, I found someone who had a membership and every once in a while, it’s wholesale shopping time!
The good thing about this location is it’s surrounded by other good stores. Kohl’s, Dollar Tree, Lowe’s across the street, Panda Express in the same parking lot… it’s a good deal. Drawback is it’s about a 20 minute drive, sans snowbirds…
Lines go quick if multiple lanes are open, but today, we had to use the self check out because that was E M P T Y, while the one cashier lane was around the block.

This is a clean and well taken care of BJ’s Wholesale. My 3-​star rating is mainly for BJs in general. It’s usually not as much of a bargain as you’d think — just single out one unit from a colossal pack and do the math, you’ll see that you’re not really getting that much of a bargain, if any. This is a good place to buy milk though, it’s way cheaper than Publix, Walmart or Target :)

I like this BJ’s. Its clean and organized. The small amount of staff are helpful and I love the self serve check out. I have never had to wait in long lines and inside the store they have a Subway so you can get a decent sandwich if you want.
