Ordered a Pull Pork, Beef Brisket, Pork Rib combo… Shared with my husband… We both loved everything in the combo basket and service was excellent. Only thing that we didn’t like was the ribs, it was too fatty for us.

This has to be the fatiest brisket is have ever seen and the pulled pork looks like it went through a blender. Otherwise the flavor is good but it’s really not edible as served.

This was my first time eating here and after reading some negative Unilocal about the brisket I Wanted to try something really different so I had a kielbasa ruben. Well — I got what I wanted– something different. Not bad, not good– but definitely different! It was appropriately priced for the size(it was huge) but not for the quality. Way to much sour kraut and was placed on top of the baked beans– the marbled rye bread it came with was saturated with bean juice and sour kraut juice. This may be appealing to some– but I like Rueben sandwiches crisp off the grill with the ability to hold in my hands without soggy bread falling apart. The reason for all the baked bean juice was because they put two scoops of beans into a plastic container that only holds one scoop. So the bottom of my to go container was covered with runny baked beans and the sandwich was placed on top of the beans. By the time I got to my office– the bread was saturated with kraut juice and bean juice. I had to eat with a fork and throw away half the kraut and bread. However the kielbasa was very good– nicely sliced and nice smoky flavor. The beans were a let down– tasted old and some were«crunchy». I should have just ordered the kielbasa ! Well I don’t think I will be back when there are much better bar b q places in town. On a positive note– the guys working there are great– friendly and informative and the portions are huge.

READTHSIFIRST: Cute place with a great name. The brisket is like boiled shoe leather with 1⁄3 of it being unrendered fat ladled with what seemed to be almost an au jus of liquefied fat, oil and grease. It was sliced very thin and with the grain. I’m not going to say it was disgusting but it was pathetic. yet edible, then again I am a very daring eater. Although I ordered a half pound I was given at least a pound. They pulled it out of something(steam pan. microwave.?) and put it under the broiler to make the already incredibly dried out desiccated like pieces even drier and to make the fat on the big fatty pieces, crackle splatter and blister. I got mine with a heaping pile of Kraft Macaroni and cheese or was it Cheese and Macaroni. Side note, no ice-t or soda fountain, only canned soda.

Check my reviews. I’m not a hater. But hey, $ 22 for basically boiled ribs. BBQ means there was a fire involved somewhere in the process. Nothing personal. Really Nice people &ABSOLUTELY Fabulous location in Fort Myers – I’ve lived here for 25 years and have owned a successful small business for the last 13. I travel for a living and chase excellent Ribs as a hobby. Perhaps code or fire regulation don’t permit an actual BBQ… what ever. Best of luck to these folks… An actual BBQ would be a great start.

1st visit — had the ½ bird, baked beans and Cole slaw. The ½ chicken was not the portion size I expected. It seemed more like a Cornish game hen. It was very good and the sauce was fantastic. The baked beans were not my favorite since they were bbq baked beans but I would rate them as good. The slaw was better than most. All in all it was a good experience and I will be back to try other items.

Had ribs, brisket, and Mac n cheese. We’re used to dry rub BBQ; this was good but not dry rub style. Bread pudding with caramel sauce is yummy. Everything is home made here!

I will update this review as I eat more items off the menu. I started off with the brisket sandwiches with a side of Mac n cheese. The brisket slices were tender with some fat. There was also some burnt end pieces thrown in that we’re very flavorful. The Mac n cheese was creamy and was a good portion size. My only issue was the size of the place with real small tables, but that’s not really in there control you work with what ya got. I will be going back very soon.

Just tried their spicy pork cheeks and homemade turkey vegetable soup and both were amazing. Everything made in house no box soups of sides. This will definitely be a place a go to again.

brisket was just awful. About 33% fat and very little smoke flavor. coleslaw was foodservice crap from a bucket: Orvel Kent makes restaurant slaw in many styles all with 1 to 2 year shelf life. 1 pound of brisket and their crummy slaw: $ 22. Not reasonable even if it were a real restaurant. About as bad as bbq gets. Hubby says he had some decent brisket at Buffalo Chips.

Here is my 2 cents on the food. I was not in the mood for bbq. I went for the day special. Meatloaf sandwich and a side of mac & cheese. Meat loaf at a bbq place. I was leery. But I am adventurous. It was good. The slices were thick and light. They were firm but fell easily when bitten into. The roll was soft. I found the sauce sweet and a bit tangy– spicy. Not hot but flavorable. The mac was cheesy and delish. I also ask and receive a sample of the brisket.(You must be a fool if you do not taste brisket at a place called Brisket Brothers. That is like going to a steakhouse and asking for fish or chicken .) The brisket was moist and tender… excellent Now some chit chat. I found this place on a local tv show(Paradise). I was surprised it was so close to The Cape. Just over the bridge. So worth the trip. It is in a large mall towards the rear a bit hard to find. Just follow your nose. No TV no WIFI6 tables 1 table outside. Very friendly owners. Oh yes I thought portions were pretty good. See my pics. I was told they make a good reuben. All of the ingredients are made on site. That’s another review. Anyway when in the mood give this place a try.

Yum, great food, friendly service, full belly. Had a delicious po boy with brisket and fried bologna, slaw, and special sauce. Tried the ginger carrot bisque, very tasty. Husband had the Rueben, he said it was the best in town. Finished off with the bread Pudding and caramel sauce. Wow. Everything was fresh and served with a smile. We will be back for sure.

EXCELLENTBRISKETJOINT This place has only been open two months, but the brothers(Robert & Jack) are doing something right. My wife & I stopped in for an early dinner and we had the Turkey Reuben special and a ½ lb. order of their Texas Brisket, and we shared them. Both were very good. The turkey was large slices, clearly from a REALTURKEY, and the brisket was tasty. The sides of Cowboy Beans & Mac & Cheese were just fine. The interior is not elegant and very small with only 5 or 6 small tables. They do a brisk carry out business, but you can eat in as well. The best BBQ around! They’re a small shop, but easy to find. Their brisket and pulled pork baskets are really delicious, but it’s their ribs and the Bread Pudding dessert that will keep you coming back for more! Dinner at Brisket Brothers feels like hanging out in the backyard at a family reunion… with relatives than know how to work a grill! When it comes to great BBQ in SWFL, keep it in the family! Brisket Brothers rocks!

Meh. I really really wanted to like it. This place has the right feel, the right look, yet the food did not deliver. I had the brisket, which was sliced and pre sauced. It was mildly flavorful, but rubbery and stringy. I hadn’t experienced brisket served this way, and I know why. They have odd hours, the sides were below average — mediocre beans and Cole slaw. Better bbq can be had at sonny’s, or for another hole in the wall with super bbq, try Reubens.

**Disclaimer: Was all set to rate Brisket Brothers with higher marks, based on the recommendations of family members. However, we were unable to rate this ourselves as the establishment is closed on weekends! We were so looking forward to a delicious brisket dinner. We thought about this all day as we did our errands. We drove to Brisket Brothers with our mouths salivating and had to sadly wipe the spittle away when we saw the lights off and door locked. Sadly, we drove around for an hour before deciding on Chinese takeout… poor(but still yummy) choice! Who would have thought a «new» take out barbecue place would be closed on a weekend… especially during peak season and Super Bowl weekend! Hopefully we’ll get to try it during a weekday!

My office is right next door to Sonny’s BBQ. All I can say after eating at the Brisket Brothers, is that Sonny’s is fired. My wife had the Brisket, which was phenomenal. I had the Pit Sandwich which was equally incredible. I was tempted to try the dessert, but I didn’t, it looked awesome too. These guys know how to cook. It’s as good as it gets!
