Costco Warehouse

This location is hard to get in and out of. That’s my biggest complaint .
It can be hard to find someone to help me. Especially in electronics.
The new store off Alico road is sooooo much better
I like the products for sure
Tried to buy a smart tv here and took forever to get help. It came with a missing remote. No trouble exchanging it
Because of the parking issues I go to the new location. Worth the drive

Just here for the food
We stopped for gas and the ultra cheap Hot Dog Combo. For a buck and a half you get a large dog and a small drink.
You order at a counter and there is seating around to the side. It was reasonably clean on our visit. Quick in, quick lunch, and we were off. Costco membership is required to get inside.

Generally speaking, COSTCO is a great store and company. However, this store in ft Myers is made up of incredibly rude employees, is chaotic and an overall horrible shopping experience.
My 87 year old mother was almost pushed out of the way by an employee. Rather than ask to help her, the employee just told her to move.
At the register, I had purchased serengetti sunglasses and noticed there was no case. I asked the lady who said they «don’t come with one». I asked if she could check and she refused. I then went back and the very nice lady at the optical center handed me one.
I just will struggle bringing myself back to this store. I highly suggest the manager have a customer service «stand down» with all employees. In the end, low cost and value is great but without customer service, you cannot lower prices low enough.

I have shopped at Sam and BJ. They pale in comparison to Costco. Items such as dining utensils cheaply made in china fall apart. (bought a set 3 months of light use had to throw away) The Wesley brand of potato salad cheap and nasty. No flavor just potato and bad mayo.
Costco though a bit overboard in organic has better stuff overall.
The bread, cheese danish and pizza made in house is superior in taste/​quality compare even to the local mom and pop joints. It almost too clean and staff are outstanding in helping you out.
Return policy is great.
5 dollar chicken as good as Boston Market at twice the price.
The only reason you shop at the other places (BJ– Sams) is you are cheap, have no idea of quality items and bad taste buds in general.

Don’t get me wrong, in general we love Costco, their service and their products, but the cramped location of this store is terrible. Just getting into and out of the parking lot is a nightmare as well as finding a parking space. Even walking through the parking lot is dangerous. We will try the Gulf Coast Center location even though it is further away.

Bought a marble mortar and pestle for $ 7, Calvin Klein jeans for $ 20, etc. unbelievable! This is why we love Wholesale clubs. For about $ 150 we got a year supply of essential items. No complaints.

Had some rude guy named Billy check out my mom, husband and I today. He seemed rather short/​brief, which I can appreciate. I wouldn’t want to work on a holiday weekend either. But then he started tossing our things from the conveyer belt into our cart showing no regard. We asked if our things could be put into a box and he kept tossing our stuff and threw a box on top and said «you can box it yourself.» I can box my own stuff, don’t care. Manners would be cool. It’s not like I was rude at any point to him.

This store is just so much better than the Cotsco in Naples. I think it gets fewer customers and the customers that shop here are much more polite than the folks in Naples.
The other big difference is that management here keeps a close watch on the length of the checkout lines. They move quickly to open additional lines. In Naples the management just doesn’t seem to care as much.

Today I visited Costco in Fort Myers around 7:30 pm. I was not aware of their closing time and didn’t hear any announcement about closing while taking my time shopping. When I got to the register at 8:45 pm (they close at 8:30 pm) I noticed all but 1 register open with Greg as the cashier. He was fantastic! He was very friendly and happy to serve.

Shopped on Thursday: lane for small parking lot was impossible to navigate in order to park. Forget trying to get gas that lane was so back up it looked like at least a hour wait. Should have looked at Michigan Costcos layout in order to avoid such traffic problems.

This seems to be a smaller one compared to the Gulf Coast Towne Center location. Parking lot is difficult to navigate – very chopped up. However it is the cheaper one for gas usually. Prices on a lot of the items are a good deal. Don’t go on weekends if you can avoid especially in the winter months. They are also carrying more and organic at very good prices. Good to see.

A step up in warehouse club shopping over Sam’s Club. Well stocked. Everything from electronics, clothes, jewelry, housewares, food, books, and much more. They have a bakery, fresh produce, snack bar, a liquor store, tires a self service gasoline and the best $ 5 rotisserie chicken you’ve ever eaten. It’s usually crowded and parking can get challenging. I do a lot of shopping here.

It’s a warehouse after all, but they run a pretty tight ship here.
My only complaints have been: management may promise a call back when they drop the ball, but don’t. Sometimes the cashiers unload your cart for no reason when all they have to do is scan your 10 items where they sit.
Can’t beat the return policy on electronics, you basically rent it for 90 days!

Typical Costco (food court inside, gas station, bakery, etc.) but I liked that they were still giving away samples at 7:30 at night on a weekday. Beer and wine are sold inside, liquor you have to go to the little attached store, enter from the outside. The parking lot is not too bad on a week night, but it is a nightmare on the weekends. Pooly laid out.

Costco is a little COSTly. They do offer some good food in bulk — the samples have led to great purchases. You can eat your way thru the store, yet feel like you never ate. Food counter is reasonably cheap — $ 0.63 for a fountain drink, or less than $ 2 for a huge hot dog and drink. Always busy, always a line and people seem to buy everything that’s not nailed down.

I’m ready to re-​up for a camera. What to do. What to do. Then price shopping here gave me choices that were better than online competitors. I could get the camera of my choice PLUS an SD card PLUS a case for the same price online as the camera itself.
Once that purchase was decided, the food counter was a great reward. Costco makes a really generous chicken Ceasar salad. Dressing is on the side. For my taste, the next time I’ll forego the really bland dressing and ask for something else.
But we bonded with the folks at the next table when we both returned to the counter from our seats at the glossy white picnic tables. Seems to be a common urge. and worth the $ 1 indulgence, to belly up to the bar for a hot churro. So bad, it’s good.

First, I went to the Gulf Center Costco and had an epic fail experience in their photo center. 75% of the posters including the 8 or so the nice employee kept reprocessing while staying way after the store closed (I was there, I was with her)…flawed. Their poster machine is a disaster, if you want any kind of quality at all. I took my chances on this Cypress Lake Dr. photo department and WOW! FABULOUS service!!! FLAWLESS POSTER PRINTS! The young girl behind he counter could not have been more pleasant and I am a one happy person! I need print services while down in Florida for 12 weeks and this Costco matches the flawless service I receive in my Costco in northside Indy. That is saying a lot.

I usually go to the Costco at Gulf Coast shopping center and prefer it to this store. Don’t know what it is about it, but it seems like the store isn’t organized as well as the other one. Maybe I’m just more used to the Gulf Coast store… still good deals!

Meat dept has great value but I have returned the products I have purchased the last three times here!

Quality, consistancy and great values. This is the upscale version of a wholesale warehouse (as are all Costcos) and I rely on them to simplify my choices from an upscale perspective. Guarantees on everything make this a sure choice for most of my shopping these days since money is stretching farther. Food is fresher than at other supermarkets here, clothes are great buys & brands. Liquor store and gas too. Costco’s saved me thousands and improved the quality of my life in the process.
Also, tire shop puts nitrogen in tires & I understand that is better for the tires & makes them last longer.
‘Nuff said.
