My realtor introduced us to this place 8 yrs ago when we purchased our home in Ft. Myers. Have been going here since, best pizza in town also try the Gorgi salad!

5 stars! For a local pizza joint that makes you go mmmmmmmmmm! After having one of «those» days, all I envisioned was devouring a pizza and watching some mindless TV. Come on, you know you’ve been there too! So I placed an order for pick-up on my way home and the timing worked out perfect. They said 20 minutes and pretty much to the minute, I walked in to pick up my piping hot pie. Although I took my order to go, I took a quick look around. The cozy bistro style dining area and open pizza kitchen was perfectly pizza parlor-esque! Loved the open kitchen concept and of course the intoxicating smell that came from pizza baking in a large pizza oven. It truly brought back wonderful childhood memories of my favorite pizza parlor back in Brooklyn, New York. Great variety to their overall menu, from pastas to pizzas and salads to sandwiches, and the prices are extremely fair. Most dishes are $ 15 or less, with the specialty pizza’s maxing at $ 18. Their pies come in two sizes, small 10″ and large 14″. You can build your own or go with one of their many specialty pizza options. I ordered a 14″ three cheese pizza, since I would be sharing with my husband — and I use the term sharing very lightly, as I was ready to take that pizza down all by myself. Thankfully, the pie was too much for me to handle on my own, so my husband lucked out. The 14″ was more than enough for two people at a solid eight slices. The flavor of the sauce highlighted by the crushed plum tomatoes, crushed garlic, and basil was spot on. The trifecta of pizza cheese heaven(ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan) was spread evenly on each slice, so as to provide a perfect bite of cheesy goodness every time. As for the dough, which in my opinion can make or break a pizza, they got it totally right with the flavor and the light crispy crust! They are a bit hidden in a corner of the large Cypress Lake Shopping Center, so make sure not to miss it. Parking is easy enough, but they also deliver, wth free delivery based on location and $ 15 minimum order. The pizza was scrumptious, the service was prompt and friendly, and the prices are great for what you get. If you want a slice of pizza heaven you should absolutely give this place a try!

We love Pizza 2000. It’s our 5 Star pizza place. Excellent pizza offered with your choice of sauce: crushed plum tomato, smooth red or white. The texture and flavor of the crispy crust with the smooth sauce is a winning combination. Our most recent visit was on a very busy Friday evening between 6:30 and 7:00. Two servers were running to keep everyone happy and satisfied. Our drinks were refilled after a short wait. Every bit of our meal was pizza perfection. I even have a thing for the candy-coated mints they bring with your check.

It doesn’t hurt that this place is right beside our salon but always a good result and clean. I love their Minestrone, it has great flavor. Fresh bread(pizza crust) is fine, meals always prepared fresh. I had the Parmesan pasta with chicken, wife had personal white pizza. They are known for having some of the best white pizza. Iced tea always fresh as well. Take note, we find they typically under season food here but just dress it up ourselves. The owners are wonderful people.

Was here during lunch hour several weeks ago. I stuffed myself with a personal size House Special Pizza. It was delicious so we went back for more punishment! We normally have salad, pasta and pizza. Today it was simply pizza only! Today, just for two, we have a simple 14″ pie with half cheese and half sausage. The pie was excellent! The dough was crusty and just done right with crushed tomatoes, parmesan, mozzarella, garlic/oregano, and fresh basil. The sausage was sliced rather than crumbled. That is exactly how like my sausage! Looking forward for next visit with garlic clam sauce over penne with House Special Pizza or white pizza! Or maybe minestrone or Italian wedding soup with salad. Service is excellent! Pizza 2000 is on the top of my Pizza Restaurant in Fort Myers.

This is our«go-to» pick up pizza joint since Birdies closed last year. Sauce is fresh, toppings plenty and crust is crisp. We have dined in and enjoyed a glass of chianti and shared a house salad, all very good.

Came in to try their white clam pizza. Ever since I had it at Pepe’s in CT I have been searching for something close. Ordered a large with thin crust and it came out a little overdone and crispy but it was still good. Service was excellent. The restaurant, including the bathroom was very clean which is always nice. Not quite five stars but certainly feel that four is appropriate.

H0ly crap this pizza is good. It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had. What I like about this though is that it tastes like I’m eating the highest possible ingredients you could be using for pizza. 14″ at 12 $ is a fair price.

Okay… So quite frankly, I’ve never even noticed this restaurant. I’m in the plaza every 2 weeks getting my nails done next door at Diamond Nails. Last time I was there, I walked out after getting my nails done and realized I locked my keys in my car. After calling AAA and deciding to wait on the curb for them to arrive, a worker from Pizza 2000 came out and had noticed what happened. He sweetly offered for me to take a seat inside while I wait. When I got inside, he also offered me something to drink. I wish I would of got his name because he was so genuine. Anyways, when AAA got there, I thanked the man, grabbed a Togo menu, and told myself I would be back. A few nights later my roommate and I were deciding on where we wanted to get dinner. I remembered my great experience at Pizza 2000 and suggested we go there. When we arrived, we were sat and greeted promptly. The waitress was friendly enough. Unfortunately I didn’t see the man from the a couple days before. Anyways, we ordered the pesto mussels and cheese bread. The cheese bread was good but not great. Probably wouldn’t order it again. But the mussels were absolutely phenomenal! Aside from half of them not opening, I would totally order them again because they were THAT good. My roommate and I shared their most popular specialty pizza with chunky sauce. It was delicious! We will both be back! Thank you to the friendly guy who went out of his way to make me feel welcomed.

I came down to visit my family with my son and was tired from being at pool all day and didn’t want to cook. We decided to order pizza and wanted to try something new and had heard about pizza 2000 from a neighbor and thought we’d give it a try. Wow!!! Are we happy to have called because I can honestly say it is the beat pizza I’ve ever had not to mention VERY resanabily priced. You could see and taste all the real tomatoes and real parmesian cheese in the pasta sause. Incredible. We won’t be ordering from anyone else again. Sincerely, Nathan

Look it’s delicious. The oily salty texture on my finger tips. The ash that flakes off on our hands. The steam that filters off the pizza and into the air. The sodas fresh and bubbly. The bowls are cold that hold the salad that so awesomely contrasts the flaming lava hot pizza. But something feels like it’s missing. Maybe it’s me. In fact it’s probably me. To me gourmet and pizza just don’t connect

Been going to Pizza 2000 for at least 5 years. I am from NJ and their pizza is hand tossed and delicious. I especially like their white pizza. Salads are cold and my mother likes the wedding soup. Prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot imagine why they do not have more reviews.

Ordered delivery last night. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms, gorgonzola salad and the spinach and artichoke white pizza. We usually order from Pizza fusion but I read a review where this was so much better. Guess what it’s not. Mushrooms were rubbery and tasted like mostly bread never even tasted any seafood. Salad. What a joke! Gorgonzola salad there maybe was a 1⁄16th of a cup on it and very finely crumbled, not much else on the salad and the dressing was straight up balsamic and oil. I have to say the crust was really good and the amount of toppings but little cheese and not a whole lot of flavor. The artichokes were woody pulpy the part you’re not suppose to eat. Delivery was fast and food hot for delivery. This place is pricey so never again.

Pizza 2000 has earned this review; we’ve been ordering delivery from them for about a year now and they have never disappointed — excellent quality at a reasonable price, and if they can’t deliver because the delivery guy isn’t in yet, they just tell you to come get it – got to like their no-nonsense, practical approach! They actually have people sitting in the restaurant most of the times I’ve been by to pick up, and the owner makes a lot of the pizza himself. Given that it’s in that little strip mall building by Costco, having people sitting in the restaurant is also kind of impressive — my guess is the rest of the menu is worth a try! :-)

Quite possibly the best pizza in Fort Myers. Since Salvatore’s closed down a few years ago, we’ve been looking for a place to get really good pizza. I’ve passed by Pizza 2000 for years without stopping in since the name and strip mall location don’t exactly scream quality pizza. Some friends ordered from them a few weeks back and we were very impressed. I’ve been back since and this will be our go to pizza spot for the foreseeable future.

Very good pizza as we had ordered one other time, but not so good customer service from the manager on our second time. We ordered a pizza to be delivered, but 40 minutes later we received a call saying they could not deliver due to a $ 25 min. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he was too busy with orders and would not make an exception. Perhaps to avoid wasting a pizza(which I confirmed was baking) and losing future business, the fact of a needed $ 25 min should be shared up front, not 40 minutes after the order was placed. Perhaps the manager needs to take a few lessons on customer service and know that word of mouth can be both a positive and a negative when it comes to marketing a business.

I just like this place — a lot. it’s a small space easy to miss but they turn out some really good simple pasta dishes and their pizza is some of best I’ve had around Ft Myers. Great crust — chewy without being soggy and it holds up to toppings. Portions are extreme generous, best Italian wedding soup and the bread is great. Service is usually 5⁄5 — they dont take reservations so sometimes it’s a short wait — but has always been worth it.

If you love pizza this is the place to have one in all of Southwest Florida. Red and white pizzas and pasta dishes. They have smooth or chunky sauce. I always get the house special with chunky sauce along with a Gorgonzola salad. Wonderful house dressing too.
