I needed new running shoes, I met Zach and he was attentive and very helpful in my search! I hadn’t been to this store before but did read the reviews so I was skeptical but I will say the customer service was way beyond any Dicks store I have been to. Thank you

I walked into this store and went upstairs to check out some golf clubs. Then I went over to the desk to look at the golf simulator they had. I asked the man at the desk how much this simulator costs and he said rudely it costs around 10,000. Then he said and we put it in your house. He said«I would assume that you don’t have a home.» Then this douche bag walked away. I will never give this store my business again. They are very unprofessional to their customers.

A half a star would work. Id do that. This store is horrible. I can’t speak for dicks sporting goods as a whole as every store and the customer service is different like with I placed an order online for a store pickup. I had a $ 50.00 gift card and purchased the rest of my order with my credit card. Simple enough. The order went through, I got an email, all was right with the world. The next morning I got an email saying the order was canceled. In my mind that’s a horrible way of doing business. Why not call me or email me letting me know that’s not an option and seeing if I’d rather have the item sent to me? That would have worked. Nope. Just a cancellation. Ok. So I’ll just reorder and get the item shipped to my house. Good idea… or so I thought. The cancellation email was kind enough to tell me that«You were not charged for this order. If you paid by credit card or debit/check card the authorization hold will be removed from your account by your financial institution.» However, there is no mention of the gift card reimbursement. One would assume it’s instantaneous. I mean it’s their company gift card. I live about 5 miles from the store so I figure I’ll just head over and pick out a pair of shoes I want instead of using the online system that was kindly invented to piss people off. Lucky for me this store is so understaffed and the staff they have are horrible I can’t get any help to try shoes on. So I just go back home to order online. It’s here at checkout that I find out that dicks is just pathetic. So DSG, in their infinite wisdom has devised an online purchasing system that takes 3 – 5 days to revalue your gift card. Awesome! I attempt to use the $ 50.00 gift card and just put the rest of the transaction on my credit card. Things should be fine. It’s at this point where I get all the way through the order process again to find that my gift card is listed now as invalid. Wait… my order was canceled hours ago. Why wouldn’t I be able to use this gift card? I called customer service and they explained how their genius system was devised and that they aren’t doing anything to fix it. After I use this gift card, whenever the money is back on the thing, I swear to god I will never enter another dicks and purchase anything.

Dicks sporting goods is a two story store with lots of inventory. That is the positive. The negatives are the fact that I was in the store for almost a half hour and didn’t come across any sales people. They are overpriced and sorely understaffed. This store reminds me why I love Amazon!

Let me preface this post by saying that I worked for Dick’s for 6 years ib their corporate office. That said, my expectations are a little high. I received good service from a lodge associate and a fashuon associate. They were helpful and friendly. Then I went to the cashier. Her name is Kayla. She did not greet me, talk to me, acknowledge me! She rang up my tennis balls and took my money and she didn’t even thank me for shopping at Dick’s! Wow! Amazed! She must be kissing someone’s butt to keep her job! Seriously, customer service has to be top priority. And if Dick’s doesn’t want to evaluate and train their personnel, then do not expect me back!

Terrible customer service. Just needed a new pair of shoes and the process took painfully long. We were in the footwear section clearly looking for assistance and the employees stood around chit chatting in their«zones». It’s all about customer service people. If a customer needs help then do something about it.

Amazingly awful. Completely understaffed. I stood at the counter waiting to buy a 230.00 pair of sunglasses for 20 minutes. Even after it was acknowledged that I was there we didn’t get any service. I feel bad for the staff and worse for the dissatisfied guests. I’m going to bass pro.

The only place local that(at the time) had the foam weights for water aerobics. No one else carried them for some reason. I have seen the weights just a handful of times around the city, but generally speaking, this is the place people go to find them. Things are laid out in the store rather nicely, but it’s a huge store. Easy to get lost. Only problem with the layout: there are some departments that are cramped. Some of the clothes racks are so close to each other, you can’t pass between with out getting bumped by a hanger.

Dick’s a huge sports store. I prefer them over Sports Authority in terms of better pricing and wider selection of sports. Store is similar to many other Dick’s. I agree they have a shortage in staff. If you want true customer service and knowledgeable staff, you need to go to a specialty shop that will charge a premium. For general merchandise, here is the place to go.

horrible service(employees sitting around talking, acting bothered by questions/requests). horrible selection of women’s tennis shoes. not a single pair smaller than size 7.5! your store is the size of costco, have some inventory your fools! do yourself a favor and head to park meadows tennis shop(on park meadows off of 41) for real customer service for tennis gear. stay away from the clowns at Dick’s that know nothing sports!

Terrible. I swear this place must have a gas leak. This GIANT sporting goods store only has like 4 employees on staff every time I go there… And they wander around aimlessly like they just woke up. Three times I have been there, and each time I can’t find what I want, the employees have no clue where anything is or how much it is, and I leave promising myself I will never go back. Dick’s: I curse you!!!
