I come here for drinks, but the prices keep getting higher, but the food stays the same way. Not good. Haven’t heard anything good either. I just through an additional star on their for 2 out of 5 for letting some local people throw events their. Otherwise, there are better bars.

This is one of mine and my wife’s favorite places, we live on the cape but get over to GCTC any chance(and with any excuse) we can get to go to Firepit and share a pitcher of beer(Love it when they have Shocktop on Draft) and some Appys and a meal or so outside while we people watch. I am however extremely disappointed that they changed their prices on Pitchers to a special on Thursdays only. Please bring back the old pitcher prices… I beg you!

Take Chilis, add a dash of TGI Friday’s, a smidge of Outback Steakhouse, a chunk of The 99, add some lettuce, a few friendly faces, and a dash(or two) of class — and out pours Firepit. Sure, this place is no four dollar sign extravaganza, but it served some of the tastiest food I’ve had from a classy TGI99-Chilihouse. Indulge in: Traditional hummus. Any flatbread. Any salad. [Add a meat.] Fish tacos. Lots of beer. Lots of mixed drinks. Sure, get a refill. Get a refill of that refill. Lunch or dinner, this place does not disappoint. I usually pop in for lunch, and I’ve been happy with every item that has been placed in front of me. Suggestion? Hummus app(or app of your choice), then be like Elaine and get a big salad.

We ate outdoors, which in Florida in February is a must, and had not one but two waiters(well, actually one waitress and one waiter). The service was amazing and the food even better. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer, which came with olives, feta, warm pita slices, and carrots. It was great. For lunch we had sandwiches which were priced extremely well and tasted even better. There were so many choice options to choose from it really came down to the waiter’s recommendation. I ended up getting the Grouper Reuben — loved it. If you find yourself within ten or fifteen minutes of the GCTC(Gulf Coast Town Center) you need to stop in for lunch. The ambiance is very pleasing and the outdoor seating allows for comfort and privacy, along with the ability to people watch.

My experiences here have been mixed; the place is kind of schizophrenic. One day, the food will be excellent, the service quick and attentive, and the next, it’s all about«hey, where’s the waitress? My side of veggies appears to still be frozen.» The menu is odd too — this is a restaurant that doesn’t know what it wants to be. Is it a grill because there’s a lot of grilled food? Is it Asian, since there’s a lot of that on the menu? Is it Italian since they do a lot of pizza and pasta? It’s confusing! Due to that, I generally only eat here for apps and a drink while meeting up with friends. The potstickers are quite nice, as is the hummus. And the pizza is pretty decent too. Yeah. Potstickers, hummus, and pizza. This is a restaurant that lacks a theme. For what it’s worth, meals run about $ 10-$ 20 for an entrée, and they’ve got $ 2 draft beer all day long, which is the reason we use it as a meet-up place.

My wife and I went for our anniversary. I had a Firepit Punch and a Steak Diane. Meal and drink were great. My only complaint was the water with lemon, my wife ordered, tasted like toilet water. Overall a good dinner.

this place is impressive for being a Mall style food place. Prices are great and the service from Thomas was the best I have had. I sampled the Margarita Pizza, The Humus and the Pacific Rim Tuna. The Tuna was frozen and not at all good — order something else. The pizza was exactly what i expected and good enough. the humus was excellent. I think the three items and three soda’s for me and my mates was about $ 35 with tip. Entrées were probably around $ 14 each — rationale but not a «deal» I give this place 5 starts simply because the service was so good, the atmosphere is good, the food was OK, but the service makes anyone a hero.

We went there after a Saturday night movie, and the place is more of a club than a restaurant. My wife and I ordered appetizers… the chicken tenders rolled firecracker sauce is glorified ketchup and the spinach artichoke dip is so bland that you may as well be eating out of a mayonnaise jar. Not only that, but they left the dip sitting under the heat lamp for over 5 minutes(the amount that I actually timed) in plain sight, and when I told the manager there was an issue, she seemed unwilling and uninterested in doing anything about it. I know I was just there as a tourist, but that is a place I wouldn’t recommend anyone going back to.

I have lived in Estero, FL for a number of years now and I have been able to see the evolution of the nightlife in the area. Judging by the masses of humanity that are smashed against each other, watching as they scream at the bar tenders like traders on the floor of the stock exchange, I sigh to myself, and I am forced to admit upon observing the spectacle that the Firepit’s $ 4.00 pitcher is sadly the coolest thing to ever happen to my town. Take it from me; the food is not that great, the ambiance is kind of terrible, but if you look at the other high priced restaurants in the same mall they are all empty; yet the Firepit is overflowing with humanity. Why? It’s the $ 4.00 pitcher. If you want some advice from me Blu Sushi has way better music and is right next door, but it’s overpriced. Buy your pitchers at the Firepit and take them out on the patio where you can listen to the music from Blu Sushi. This way you have the best of both worlds in terms of ambiance and price.

I really like the way this place looks and the food is edible, thats about the most I can say for it. My ribs we blah at best and were very overpriced. My Wife’s dinner(orange chicken) was good and my sons mac n cheese was Kraft from a box but thats forgivable. My main concern was the service. I asked for ketchup and the waiter brought me an empty bottle. Empty. No paper towel in the bathroom. Reminds me of a TGIF with much better décor.

I was hoping… I was really hoping but alas it didn’t do any good and neither did the kitchen at this popular drinking establishment. The appetizers we had(barbeque sliders and fried mozzarella) were okay. I was starving so a tasty napkin might have passed for ok. The entrees we had were all mediocre. I had the bbq ribs. They had obviously been par boiled because they were soggy(soggy pork will not catch on). There was not enough sauce and overall I thought they were not very good. The only diner that really liked their dinner had the burger… fish tacos really unremarkable… not flavorless but just there. The space is clean and has a sports bar feel to it. Our server did an good job. Not going back any time too soon.

IT was really pretty bad. The margarita me and my friend got was sour mix. nothing else. it tasted like i sucked on a lime that had been soaking in dishwater. boo. to put things into perspective, my kids frozen personal pizza they brought out(which didn’t include a kids drink for 5 $ it was extra at 2.25 $) was better than the salad i got. like only three choices for dressing too. weird. WAYOVERPRICED! The server was some girl who didnt have a clue. but then i got Kelwin’s ice cream after and was happy again…

This place was a pretty good find when my flight was delayed, its just a short ride from RSW airport. They were one of the few restaurants open at 11am on a weekday. They have a great lunch special menu with entrees starting at $ 4.95. I had the BBQ pork sliders and the Caesar wrap and salad looked really good too. They had a great outdoor seating section where I enjoyed my final hours of warm weather while dining. Service was fast, food was good. They advertise $ 2 beers and $ 4 pitchers all day every day. Lots of TVs, good place for sports.

Not a good place for a gluten free veggie. Stay away from the fish, esp the expensive $ 24 Halibut, not worth it. Sent food back, returned ok but asparagus still cold. Quality of food doesn’t meet the prices asked.
Not much choice other than salad for me. SOOO sick of salads! I refuse to spend big bucks for grilled veggies on a stick, They no longer have brown rice(tho in menu), sweet potato home fries good but I ate it as dessert, it was that sweet and loaded with some syrup, or sugar glaze. Nice people, good service, great atmosphere, the bar looks like the happening place, if I drank… so. for a boring person like me with particular weird diet and no sugar daddy, a no go. Tho my hubby isn’t weird, he drinks, and he wont return. Go next door instead to the Cigar joint, NOW that’s worth a trip!

Update: I have been back at least 20 times. The beer is still cheap and cold. The quality of the food and service are hitting a slump. So sad!!! I will happily return to 4 stars if I see the quality again. Though, it is still a hit for the price point. Original: I am new to Ft. Myers and it is not my favorite place, but I am giving it a shot. Firepit has been a savior on many days. The food is consistent and yummy. The pork loin can feed a small family. Our personal highlight, a $ 4 pitcher of beer. We grab some snacks and a pitcher at least twice a week. Where so many placed here seem designated 55+, this is a fresh escape. One warning, Friday and Saturday nights are swarmed with the 18+ from FGCU. I was that age recently so I get it, but a few years have slowed my pace. Kiddies drive me nuts. Skip the weekend if you feel the same. Ordered so far… Calamari *** BBQ Sliders * flatbreads/pizzas*** ribs** pork loin*** veggie sandwich*** fish tacos** tuna burgers** burger***

«Mixed greens, thinly sliced filet mignon, dried cherries, crispy onions, warm macadamia nut crusted goat cheese croquettes & hearts of palm, tossed in balsamic vianigrette.» Yes, it’s as good as it sounds and prices are fair, service is excellent. And the filet was prepared medium-rare, as requested. Second visit for me. Last time I had one of the flatbreads which was equally good. This place is a definite keeper. They have a varied menu of light meals/appetizers, salads, pasta, pizza, seafood, desserts… Many of the items on the menu are intriguing(like the filet salad above), not your run-of-the mill dishes. Like pizza with mozzarella, oregano, ham, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives and mushrooms. Or tortellacci(pasta) stuffed with veal, beef and grana padano cheese, served in a creamy blush sauce with ham, ground beef and scallions.
