Every time I’ve had an appointment here, I’ve waited 30+ AFTER my scheduled time. I don’t know if it’s a constant scheduling error or what. Very poor customer service.

This place came highly recommended and I loved the designs I saw on their Facebook page, so I booked an appointment on the 11th to get simple gel polish to feel the place out and look polished and professional while I did some interviews, intending to go a little more daring afterwards. The tech who did my nails, Jevell, was nice if not super talkative — no problem there. Everyone I spoke to seemed lovely. But by the night of the 14th, they were chipping and peeling. I got them repaired at the soonest available time(the afternoon of the 17th), and by the 20th they were doing it again! I’m very disappointed, as it seemed like a fun atmosphere and I really wanted to love it, but gel polish shouldn’t do this — particularly not when my daily routine is not hard on my hands. I’m soaking it off as I type(one-handed) and am unlikely to return.

I’m new to the area and trying to find a good salon. First, I’ve found that the nail salons here do NOT have the same level of cleanliness as I’m used to back in MN. It seems that none of the salons are sterilizing their tubs and equipment between customers. I’ve been to all of the nail salons at Gulf Coast center and thought that maybe since this was a salon I would have a better experience. wrong! Receptionist was rude, conversation of nail techs loud and completely inappropriate! No hand massage, cuticle trim, etc. everything felt very rushed as if everyone had better things to do on a Saturday afternoon. I guess there is something to be said for going to a salon where you can’t understand the common language being spoken by the techs My search for a nail salon continues

Horrible experience for my wedding. Called got one price over phone but when all said and done it was DOUBLE the price. My toe nail chipped off by time I got home, the girl even redid it three times cuz she couldn’t figure out how to do a French on my toes. Got full set and the nail fell off week later. I will never be back. Defiantly not worth the $ 100 I had to spend for manicure and full set. Outrageous!

I was going here for over three years for pedicures and the occasional manicure for a special occasion. The last time I went, the nail polish peeled off my nails completely two hours after leaving. Profiles was closed, and I had a wedding the next day so I went to another nail salon and had to pay for another manicure. I used the same polish(I had taken my own to Profiles) and had no issues. I called, left a message twice and also sent an e mail via their website, and canceled my next appointment. No one has ever responded, no refund was offered or even a credit for a service. I think I just figured after three years something would be done. I never complain about anything but to me this is just poor customer service. I was not even upset about the manicure– it might be that the base coat had an issue and that’s no one’s fault, but at least make it right or try to. That’s the reason I won’t go back and have found a new nail salon to go to. To me poor customer service is something that makes me want to go elsewhere.

I’ve gone here a couple times before for their gel nails and I figured since I liked those that I would like getting their acrylic nails. When I got there I have to wait for about 10 minute, which isn’t horrible, but when I walked in the receptionist’s attitude was less than desirable. Once I sat down the lady didn’t even ask me what I wanted, the women just asked me what colors I was thinking of getting and proceeded to just grab a bunch of colors and started doing my nails without asking if I even wanted any design or anything. The woman doing my nails wasn’t very good in making me feel comfortable either considering she felt it necessary to comment on how my hands were sweaty almost every few minutes. About ¾s of the way through, a customer came in who was well beyond drunk. According to the nail technicians the woman has been a customer before and was plastered then too and they still let her come back! She was being loud and obnoxious and made me feel very uncomfortable, I found this to be very poor customer service because as I said before, I think it’s crazy that they would let a customer back into the salon and because all the technicians were making fun of the woman the whole time which I found to be rude especially because they are more than willing to take her money. Once it was time to pay I was annoyed because on their Facebook it said that I could get $ 5 off my manicure if I got some kind of fall manicure, which I did, but I still had to pay the $ 59 that they usually charge for acrylic nails. When I told the woman checking me out that I only wanted to tip $ 5(due to the poor service) the receptionist was like«only five?» which I found to be incredibly rude considering I had to deal with the horrible service.

I really liked the ambiance of the place and I have never received so many compliments on my nails before in my life. I am SO happy with the«bling» gold sparkle shelac design that I received. It’s been 6 days since my nails were done and they still look like the day I walked out. I am bummed that I was only visiting from MI and won’t be able to return!

I always get my nails done at Profiles Salon in the Gulf Coast Town Center! They provide excellent service and offer a relaxing and beautiful environment. The girls are great! I totally recommend them!

Nice people. Getting a facial– I didn’t really get the relaxed or rejuvenated feeling I was looking for. I got a hand massage, that was nice. The products smelled good. But there was a steamer blowing on my face and I was uncomfortable because it blew steam very hot and hard on one part of my face– like my eye or mouth. The rest of my face got cold. I had to resort to moving my face around a lot to even out the intense heat, and could not focus on the hand massage I was receiving. Also the rock n’ roll playing in the other room could be heard over the spa music playing during the service I also got a pedicure, it looks very good. She used the warm paraffin treatment which was very nice, but my feet fell asleep while sitting with it on and consequently I could not feel the foot massage she gave me when she took the treatment off.
