Crave has become our go-to breakfast /last hurrah on way out of FMB to airport(ending our girls week with an indulgent final meal & maybe some bloody marys). Unbelievable breakfasts: various types of eggs benedict(with crabcake or veggies for example), house-made salmon hash(& corned beef hash), plus delicious pancakes & an amazing range of omelets. It’s not a large place but it’s warm, really friendly and always good. You will leave stuffed to the gills. :)

Went to as hookers for lunch, my wife had green tomatoes and I opt for red beans and rice withe andoullie sausage, well no flavor the andoullie was cut up rice on the side of the plate. It taste like they opened the can of red beans and put it in a pan. Did I mention $ 9.00.The resteraunt looks like its not organized, service was very good.4 stars for service 3 stars for resteraunt appearance, and 1 star for food.

The food is just okay. I think because they have a good location for tourists that people try it out but it’s well worth the $ 6 toll and 5 minute drive to go over to Sanibel for some quality local fare.

We had the pleasure of eating at SS Hookers for the first time. Food was excellent. Grouper was cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac n cheese had large chunks of lobster. Appetizers tasted great. The have a great selection on their menu. We ate outside and had a great view of the harbor. They had live music playing inside. Our service was also excellent. It you are looking for great seafood, check this place out.

Great place, sat outside on the balcony ordered seafood appetizers and local craft beers everything was delicious and prepared as ordered! After 3 different apps we only had room for desert so Finished up with the homemade key lime pie! It’s worth the stop if you are anywhere close! Friendly staff and a Great place to watch the sunset!

I might change my review after another time there. Our first visit there was ok Margaritas were GREAT and cheap: P We also got portabella mushrooms as an app. It was only one mushroom, and quite small for the price.

Vacationing near Ft Myers and came across this place close to our hotel. Extremely pleased with the live music, casual atmosphere, and exceptional service. Craig, the bartender, was friendly, quick with service, and stayed to chat when he had a minute — impressive that he’d been to just about every state we discussed from NY to TN! The food was good, with a wide variety of options to choose from and some fun drinks if you’re feeling up for a cocktail!

If your looking for delicious seafood/southern comfort food, in a casual setting, with a view, this is your place. Our waiter Adam was top notch and super attentive. Our water & wine glasses never thirsted for anything as Adam was right there to help refill. Hot fresh biscuits with a honey frangelica orange butter(can you say yummy!) are your table bread with entrée purchase. Our food was out quickly & cooked perfectly. I had the honey pecan crusted mahi with sweet potatoes and veggies — overflowing with the super scrumptous roasted pecans. I had to share my wealth of pecans with my dinnermates — no complaints there. The only thing I wasn’t excited about was the side of the mango purée. It was very very sweet & while it complemented the general sweetness of the dish, it wasn’t necessary. Luckily it was on the side of the plate, which I think was a smart presentation choice, so as to give the patron the option to dip or not to dip. The other entrees(blackened grouper & jumbo shrimp w/a lemon butter caper white chedder cheese grits, seafood étouffée, snapper w/a bienville sauce) got high scores as well. We made a reservation for our large party & were seated right away even though we arrived 20 mins early. Very spacious restaurant, with indoor & outdoor seating available. Will definitely be returning to check out the turf side of the menu!

Horrible Food. Filthy tables. Sticky filthy floors, Patio has ceiling fans — but they don’t use them when No-See-Ums attack your human flesh. The flatware was dirty. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. The restaurant smells like the bar. The food was cold, flat, tasteless and EXPENSIVE. Had the«red fish». which was actually catfish — but paid for red fish. Had the gumbo. disgusting fried okra thrown in the mix of tasteless broth and cut up HOTDOGS. Yes, cut up HOTDOGS. The biscuits were cold, dry and burnt. I will NEVEREVER go back to this dingy, dirty, dark and horrible«restaurant»: and i use the term«restaurant» loosely.

I have never written a review on Unilocal before but I feel the need to tell the readers how awesome this place is. The service was awesome but it doesn’t even matter if it sucked because the food is fuckin’ scrumptious. Vacationing near here, and been here four times in 3 days in a row cuz it rules that freakin’ much. Nothing that I or anyone in my party has ordered has gotten less praise than 5⁄5. — — — — — - «Delicious! I can’t wait to take it home to savor it for longer! The best chicken I’ve ever had!» — Mom «Good!» says my grandma(but to be honest I’m not sure how well her taste buds actually work these days.) — — — — — - Not sure what the fuck these one-star«reviewers» are on but I do not fuck around. Every single thing is delicious. The staff is super cool as well.

We had a mix of meals. The mahi mahi grilled and with pecans(mango), and the meatloaf, the ultimate comfort food. All of it was outstanding. Service was great, light background live music, decent crowd. Highly recommend!

We stopped in here based on my inlaws recommendation. We were really happy we did. This is a casual spot with great food. Oysters-I was so excited about them that I didn’t snap a picture. They were excellent, better the Pinchers. We also had the fried shrimp platter and the shellfish etoufee, both awesome. Haylee was singing-she is a spectacular talent. She made the night! This place it worth checking out if you are nearby.

Enjoyed it from the start. Went on a rainy Friday evening… Not real busy though. The server was very helpful and informed us of the specials. And that it was still happy hour… Another plus… My wife ordered the blackened grouper and shrimp. She raved about its freshness and complemented the combination of flavors. I had the Striped Bass special … I too enjoyed every bite. We ended with the apple crisp w/ice cream. Also very good… The ambience is nice and they had live music playing… Another plus! Overall a very nice enjoyable place for dinner and drinks!

We walked over from the Marriott to check it out. We loved the biscuits with frangelico butter that was served in lieu of the standard bread basket. Hubby said the étouffée was excellent. Crab cakes were nice, my salad was lively and the apple crisp was a tasty finish. The menu in general offers the standard Cajun fare you expect plus a good selection of originals or twists on a theme. Good imagination here from the chef. The draft beer selection is thoughtful — not vast but a respectable variety of quality drafts. Overall, we were impressed that everything was house made– this stands out in this touristy area that we have in the past found to be filled with restaurants whose food did not live up to the price tag. Aside– price tag here is average for the area and we felt better about paying the bill than some others nearby. Also, the décor is nice and there was live music tonight. We tried to enjoy the deck but alas! a Florida thunderstorm drove us indoors. We’ll be back.

Fantastic dinner! Service: Our waited was Adam. He was polite, and great at his job. He made recommendations, looked over our drinks/food. Overall — great service. Restaurant: Great location(next to our hotel). Nicely decorated. large flat screen T. v Outdoor/indoor seating. Note: Do not sit outside this time of year, we were told that there are many nims and love bugs. Indoor seating was nice, there was a gentleman playing music on his guitar. Great music. Food: ordered a few dishes and they were all fantastic: –calamari(appetizer) very fresh and yummy sauce. –po’boy — great taste –soup — a bit spicy but still very good! –drinks — also great –complimentary bread with special recipe of butter was to die for The only tiny thing that happened was that the food came very fast, leaving us no time to eat appetizers. Overall, one of the best meals of our trip! Really really enjoyed it!

You’ve got to pass this place coming and going from the Marriott. Every time I passed it, they’ve been busy. Last night a group of us went to check it out. Their Grand Opening had been held on Wednesday, and they serve 4 meals a day. Yes, 4(like the old Taco Bell commercial). Breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night– 10PM to 1:30AM. We arrived around 7 and waited 20 minutes or so for a table for 5. We sat in the bar during our wait. You do have the option the dine at the bar, as well as outside on the balcony. They have a large menu with southern/Cajun/seafood offerings. They start you off with biscuits served with orange blossom honey butter. Really excellent. We had and appetizer of fried okra which 3 of 5 people devoured. For entrees we ran the gamut– we ordered steak, jambalaya, pork tenderloin, Tasso Chicken and a blackened chicken. Veggie medley that came with my dinner of the Tasso Chicken and the steak were clearly done in house. My meal also came with sweet potato casserole. No one had any complaints about their meals. Our server had told us the chef is very good, and we really couldn’t go wrong with anything. I was the only one to order dessert, but once I found out they make them all in house I had to get one! I had the Chocolate cake that’s served with chocolate pudding, chocolate ice cream and chocolate mousse. We all shared– and it was out of this world. The cake was actually soufflé style, so it was light and fluffy and all the other chocolate parts complimented it beautifully. We had good service, and enjoyed the live music. If you are in the area or staying at the Marriott, you should certainly check this place out.
