Amazing coaches, members, and programming! Every gym I drop into in other states rarely compare to the community that the coaches and members have created here at Crossfit Estero. Definitely recommend this place if you are deciding to try out crossfit for the first time. I came from a conventional gym program, got pregnant, and then tried crossfit and have been hooked since day 1. I will never go back to strictly isolation-​only lifting. I find that my crossfit training has made everyday activities that require any sort of lifting, strength, or endurance — seamless. The coaches are super helpful/​patient and KNOWLEDGABLE. They make everyday different, challenging, and fun. Highly recommend for ALL levels of fitness.
Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I have never experienced any separation between «elite» and beginners at this gym. When I came into the box for the first time, I was 70lb overweight from my not-​so-​fit pregnancy and was definitely not my usual «fit-​self». Despite my situation, the coaches and members that I had classes with everyday were always friendly, engaging, and encouraging… I am stronger everyday and am so thankful for those who have pushed me to be better everyday at this gym.

I could not be happier with my decision to leave LA Fitness and join this gym. The coaches and staff are outstanding AND the camaraderie between other members makes a huge difference. At 52, I took a big leap of faith trying this and I feel mentally and physically stronger for sticking with it. When I tell people I’m doing CrossFit the first response is something like «be careful, I hear people get hurt». We spend a long time stretching before a workout and after on your own. Be smart, pace yourself. It really pays off. I feel my metabolism moving faster. I sleep better. Stress is less stressful. I really look forward to it EVERY time I go.

A great Crossfit gym depends in it’s staff and members. This gym is very welcoming to people who are new to Crossfit and to those who are hardcore. There are two classes: Basic and Elite. People who are new to crossfit can try it out in a basic class where the movements are less complex. Mind you, less complex does not mean that you won’t get a killer workout. Everything can be scaled to your level of fitness and the coaches are there to guide you through the movements. Just like any gym, there are some coaches that are better than others but for the most part they’re all decent.

I got this gym on a groupon promotion and was so excited to try them out. When I first got there they seemed to be really nice and helpful however, you do feel that sense of division when it comes to basics and elite members. The elite team will basically laugh at the basics members. Also after my groupon was finished I felt pressured onto signing up for membership so I did because I really wanted to give them a fair shot. I basically paid my six months without going because it’s so discouraging when you feel that all they want is your money. Fake people. They are quick to take out «membership fees» and other unrelated fees for «new equipment» that you can’t use! Also plasma screen tvs? One of the owners (Collin) is a complete self absorbed A hole who walks around like he is better than everyone. I don’t know about you but I’m more of a humble person and would love for people to get off their high horse once in a while and acknowledge that members are the ones paying your bills so a smile will be nice. They way I look at it they can care less about you. They are money hungry so be careful and think twice before trying them.

At the end of the day, it;s going to be much easier if you just remove it and I wont have my staff calling your place of work or calling/​emailing you regularly.
We are a small business and Unilocal reviews do affect us. I built this business with mine and my mother’s life savings and for you to come in and leave a completely absurd review that has no actual reflection of our business, our staff, or our facility is pure ignorant crap.

I’ve done CrossFit in Cape Town, NYC, Madrid and Miami. The Training Box is by far the best I’ve experienced so far and the cheapest. The facility and the equipment is top notch. There classes are not too crowded and there’s always 2 – 3 trainers per class. That’s unheard off. You get individual attention, they make sure you’re technique is on point and if you slack off they motivate you to keep going without being too bootcampy and annoying.
They always take time to do a thorough warm-​up and stretching session before each training, which is key to avoid injury (other gyms tend to overlook that… Just ask my rotator cuff).
Bottom-​line: Great space, good equipment, top notch high-​energy trainers and a great value.
