Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Terrible. My order was incorrect, the smoothie cup was punctured and leaking and we didn’t get all our food. Terrible place. If you want good food GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

By far the best smoothies I’ve had! Making them at home just doesnt compare! I can never get them to blend so perfectly together, my carrots always have a strange texture– The C Burst I had was perfect! (Carrots, oranges, mangos, bananas, and GOJI!
I have been to numerous juice bars and smoothie shops in south Florida but the staff here makes me want to come back! I got to chat with the owners the other morning and you could tell how passionate they are about the café and their customers! Great people, great food, and fantastic smoothies… what more could you want?

I’ll certainly go here for a quick healthy snack and darn good shakes. Been here about 4 times and they haven’t failed me yet, save your $ though it’s not cheap for good reasons!

This location is amazing. All tropical smoothie cafes have excellent ingredients and very healthy options. $ 8.50 for a large smoothie and a meal. Very fast and very fresh

A little out of the way for me, but I was in the area and wanted a bite to eat.
Smart move for this place — mix «healthy» eats with «healthy» smoothies. The menu is time consumingly big to decide what to pair with what. The nice thing? The deal with the half sandwich and smoothie for under 7 bucks. Seems like a lot, but keep in mind, it’s a regular size smoothie (perhaps a medium?) with your half sammy. So the price is in the quantity, but the quality was pretty good too.
Turkey guacamole sandwich was spot on, as the grain bread was nicely toasted and the guac was spread thin. Paired with «Paradise Point» smoothie, and I was good to go.
Sat outside, enjoyed a cool breeze and wondered what else was out in this world… mainly did I want to play Frogger to get across the street to the wholesale department stores.
Will I be back? Sure, when I’m in the area. They have a piece of the menu that «is to die for», so I’m told. Big breakfast type sammies for under 4 bucks.

The place has really good smoothies however the reason for 2 stars was because i felt like the staff lacked cleanliness. Came in and ordered some tacos and when they brought out my food the tacos were served on a folded paper and part of my taco was touching the tray (which i highly doubt they clean every single time) They should be covering the basket fully with the liner. Also, the trash was gross and baskets everywhere on top of it when it could have easily been stacked or the workers could have easily picked them up and took them, the trash wasn’t even full, they weren’t even busy so i don’t understand why an employee couldn’t have picked them up…

I’m giving this place a 2 out of 5 for sanitation reasons. The three of us ordered 3 tacos each on 3÷25÷15 in the evening. Our tacos was served on top of a paper liner in a reused plastic basket. However the liner was not fully covering the basket as it was folded, so all our tacos were leaning against these unsanitary baskets! I posted a photo so everyone is aware.
The food does taste great, but management needs to get on top of their employees about sanitation issues.
Also, baskets full of food were stacked on top of the garbage, rather than thrown out or organized. The trash was not full, as I was able to throw mine away. Obviously, this is a customer issue with people not being kind enough to throw away their own trash, but employees shouldn’t let trash stay this way for others to see.

I love tropical smoothie! But not this one. If it wasn’t for the woman who rang me out I’d give this tropical smoothie 1 star. She was sweet and helpful. Before I had left the parking lot I was drinking my drink and it tasted weird. Like not even tolerable. It Typically taste very sweet similar to pomegranate plunge but much more sweet. It taste like freaking melons and cucumber… And I know that’s not what it was but it was not good. So I go inside to say «hey man this taste ill» and the guy WHO MADE MY DRINK ASKED what’s wrong with it. I said «it doesn’t taste right. Idk if you put too much white chocolate in it but it’s not Okay» he responses «well idk who ever made it but I can fix it for you» and rudely trashes it… Like okay buddy I get your pissed that you have to remake it but you don’t have to deny the fact that you just made my drink like 2 minutes ago because no other drinks were made and I saw you make it. So whatever he makes it and the lady who rang me up that was sweet walks up to the guy who is FIXING MY DRINK HE SCREWED UP says «whatd YA mess up her drink» and from there on out the blender went on didn’t hear the rest. She walked over and asked what was wrong with it and I said it tasted –not right at all. And she was like ok. She Hands me the new drink and says to try it I said it was okay. Upon leaving walk back in and say it was actually great Because it was actually pretty good. While in the car talking to a friend drinking my smoothie I started to slurp in chunks !!! EW! It grossed me the f*** out! Really bad like I spat out several chunks. Said screw it chucked it and left. All in all the woman was very nice it was clean in there But I won’t be going back. Idk what that kid did to screw up my drink twice in a row But he did it. Kudos kid.

Kids and I were doing some last minute Christmas shopping & decided to stop at the café for a quick bite. Approaching the door I realized they were closing up for the afternoon. As I get back to my truck the owner/​manager meets me outside and tells me the he will open up for my family and I. He stated that he came in at 11 to give his employees bonuses and they were so busy that he stayed there to help out all afternoon. I passed on his offer to stay open for us so he and his staff could enjoy the holidays with their family; however I will certainly frequent this place often! With leadership like this & great food how can ya go wrong!

Amazing food and reasonable prices! They have a variety of sandwich options, but I went with the hummus wrap! I was impressed with the size and quality of the food. I was able to add an extra large smoothie for only $ 3. What excited me most about this location was the drive through! I will be visiting again.

Review is for smoothie. Love all the choices. Surprised that they don’t offer more veggie choices but I love the island green with spinach, kale and various fruits. I order mine with no added sugar to improve on healthy aspect.
They have flat breads, wraps and sammies and offer chicken free strips which are meat free gluten free and gmo free

I enjoy the Rockin’ Raspberry Smoothie. They are also vegan friendly, offering a soy based «mock chicken» that can be substituted into any of their meals. I’ve yet to try it, but it’s nice to know that another vegan option is out there.

I was driving back to Tampa after spending several days in the Ft Myers area and I was stopped at a traffic light, happen to see the Tropical Smoothie Café Mascot strutting his/​her stuff at the intersection and I figured I would give it a whirl. I love smoothies and I am so glad my eyes noticed the lil fellow.
My first time at the TSC and I wish I tried it sooner. Lots of healthy or at least healthier choices that the usual culprits lined up on most major roads.
I came in for a smoothie to keep me awake and feeling good on my 2 hr trek back home.
Ordered the Health Nut Smoothie which consisted of Blueberries, Mango, Banana, Almonds & Whey or Soy Protein. Interesting combination but I like to try new things, so glad I did, it was excellent with so much complex flavors with a good amount of nuttiness
I will look for this place the next time I am craving something fast and cheap.

A highly recommended (healthy) alternative to fast food
Very flavorful options, ranging from Wraps, Sandwiches, Salads, and of course Smoothies — I really like the Jerk Chicken Wrap. A nice touch is that they include an optional side; depending on your mood, you can go for a cookie, or banana, either of which are portable so you can enjoy later in the day as a snack.
The locations I’ve visited have always been very clean, well lit, with very friendly staff.
My only recommendation is that they could improve the experience by adding a sub-​woofer to support their music selection — I think it looses a lot when it sounds tin-​y.
