Suspect this restaurant perfect example of terrible management. Food was disappointing and our table was hungry when we arrived. Ate breakfast on a Sunday morning. Pancakes tasted as if someone double up sugar in the mix. Scramble eggs were over cooked. Our server did a great job but really there should be about twice the number of servers.

Our service was extremely slow, the eggs were extremely dry, and the rest of the food was just generally bad. I like the idea of having a nice breakfast place here but this just isn’t it. I would not recommend for anyone. Stick with McDonalds breakfast… cheaper and better!

Ate here, just passing through, found bugs on my fruit garnish, waitress didn’t seem to care, will never eat here again!

Greeted and seated promptly. Server was efficient. Food was old and over cooked. Chicken and dumplings had been around since lunch, so had the baked carrots, fried okra was fresh but over done to rubbery, green beans mushy but flavorful. Bread had been in the warmer. We stay in Fort Payne twice a year going and coming to camp. The first time we had eaten here in over four years. The last time experience was much better. Will not be eating here again.

First and foremost, if I could of gave this zero stars I would! Tried to eat lunch there today about 130 pm. I ordered roast beef dinner with mash potatoes, dumplings, and a salad, and iced tea to drink. After I waited 10 minutes to Oder these items with 8 customers in the entire restaurant the Duesch bag waiter never brings my iced tea or salad but brings my other food. He comes to the table with this beef that looks like leather from 1902 and I ask him about my salad and drink. He says I was on my way to get your drink and i am making your salad now??? In amazement I tell him I would prefer to have my salad before my meal he tells me it was quicker to heat up your roast beef because it takes longer to make my salad. I tell him to take my food back and bring my salad. He tells me no… I told the idiot to go to hell and he can eat this crap and I got up and left. I think his name may have been Dustin or dusty something in that nature. This guy should not be a server or be handling food. So if u go there and get a young scraggly looking idiot for a server get up and leave. I would never eat at this cracker barrel again.

This Cracker Barrel seems subpar. The service was friendly, but pretty slow. We got there at 11 as they were just beginning to take lunch orders. You would think the lunch would have been really fresh, but it seemed like it was leftover from the day before. Also, it seemed like their food wasn’t as quality as other Cracker Barrels I’m used to.

I love Cracker Barrel breakfasts. I had some scrambled eggs, biscuits with gravy(and blackberry preserves, mmmm), grits, turkey sausage and some rockin hashbrown casserole. YUM! Cheesy hashbrowns… what more could you ask for? The turkey sausage was great, it even won over those stubborn pork sausage-eaters. Everything was yummy and tasted like a good ol’ country breakfast, which they serve all day. It was very filling, and all for about $ 10 with tip and drink. And if you miss this one, don’t worry, there are about a billion other billboards advertising tons of other CB’s up and down 59.
