We have started to eat here several times a week. It is a minute from the house, so very convenient, great service, great price, quick order, quick hot food, generous portions and always seems to have fresh ingredients. The right amount of TV if you want or don’t want available by where you sit. Our teenage kids enjoy most of the offered dishes and the younger kids claim they have the«Best Chinese Pizza». This has become part of Fort Thomas standard faire and would recommend to anyone who wants a delicious value lunch or dinner.

It’s like an Asian diner with a large menu of Chinese and Japanese foods. I had dinner of two sushi rolls, they were good. The service was good. The prices are fair. I like the orange they served for desert.

As a new resident of Fort Thomas, I wanted to check out some local eateries and stumbled upon New Garden. The place is small but has a cute décor inside. I had the Philadelphia Roll, CrabRangoon, and white rice which tasted amazing! I found the prices for the food items to be pretty cheap but the food tasted great nonetheless. If you aren’t big on Chinese or sushi, they also offer American food such as pizza, cheese sticks, and chicken tenders. Service was so-so. At the end of the meal they give you fortune cookies and oranges. I will definitely be back here to get a cheap sushi fix!

We got takeout from New Garden and for me it was just OK. I ordered a level 9 spice on the General Tso’s and the sauce was so sweet I didn’t really want to eat it and pawned it off on my boyfriend. The sweet and sour chicken was great. Very happy that the sauce came on the side so the chicken stayed hot and fresh. I will say that even after the 10 minute drive home the food was still pipping hot and you could tell was made with fresh ingredients. Convenient location to downtown and pretty much the only Chinese restaurant open on Sundays around here. A-OK.

We get take-out here about once a month or so. It’s great simple Chinese food for an awesome price. I like the Mongolian chicken that comes with rice and veggies. The crab wontons, spring rolls, and egg rolls are always delicious. We also love the Chinese donuts every once in a while for dessert. The people here are absolutely the nicest and it makes for a wonderful experience overall.

I’ll start with the good: this place has really good crab rangoon and their General Tso’s chicken is full of flavor and cheap for a ton of food. I couldn’t eat more than half of it after getting full, so I was able to take the rest home and enjoy it again for another meal. I love that you can get so much for so little. I took a date there and her meal, my meal, and the appetizer was less than $ 20. You can’t beat that price for two people. The ambiance was nice, albeit a bit strange; blinking neon pizza and coffee signs adorn the front windows which lend a weird vibe to an Asian food establishment. But surprisingly, they actually DO serve pizza there, so it’s not like it’s a false advertisement. They actually have a ton of different dishes there, from traditional American Chinese meals to a full sushi menu to a weird page dedicated to «American» foods(like cheese sticks and chicken fingers). Also, at the end of the meal, they gave us little cut up oranges with toothpicks and I’d never seen that before; it was a really nice way to cleanse the palate after eating chicken and vegetables. More Asian food places should do this. But here’s the bad part: the service wasn’t very good. It looked like one server was manning the entire place, so we weren’t entirely thrilled when we waited 15 minutes to get the water and a soda we ordered after being seated. It’s not a large place by any stretch of the imagination, but several couples(including us) walked in around the same time and they were woefully unprepared for the rush. We had more than enough time to read the entire menu front to back twice before we even got the chance to order an appetizer. To be fair, this may not be the usual behavior of the serving staff there, but it was definitely a problem when we went. The server didn’t really check on us again until we needed a box for both of our orders at the end of the meal. Overall, the price and quality of the food was really great, so I’ll go back again. Just maybe be aware that you could potentially have to wait to get anything at all if you go at a prime dinner hour.

WOW! We found this place on Unilocal… We decided to try it out… and…it is awesome. When u get here… the outside looks a little shabby, but the inside is very elegant… It is also very quiet… even the kids that come with their parents are very well mannered… the food is AWESOME to… I got the Moo Goo Gai Pan… it was great… it is a very large plate of food for the money… and the staff is very attentive and nice… definitely come here and enjoy a meal.

I dearly want to rate this place higher, but it has been very inconsistent. First time was stellar. I ordered the sushi combination. The presentation was awesome and the quality of the fish was very good. I would rate that meal as 5 star. 2nd time I decided to try the Chinese side. I ordered the seafood combination. Sauce was fine but the dish was a mix of hot and cold temperature spots. What was worse was the fact that the fish balls had an «off» flavor. I probably should have complained but I did not. I would give that meal 1 star The next visit I decided to go back to the sushi side. I ordered the sashimi combo. The Ono was nearly frozen and had a watery texture. The tuna texture was not right either. I would give that meal a 2 star. Undoubtedly I will try again and I hope I can revise this rating and rate it higher. These 3 trips were over the last 2 months.

Hot and sour — didn’t taste like what I’ve had in the past.(2) Crab ragoon — was good, definitely order again.(4) Moo-shoo pork — very good; would definitely order again(4) Happy duo — good, lots of fresh. Run by veggies; would order again.(4) The fresh orange and fortune cookie was a great ending. Lots of food for the money. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Would definitely go back again.

Mark and came here based on Unilocal reviews. Mark ordered the Tso Chicken with medium spice with fried rice. This dish had a lot of flavor and other veggies mixed in. I ordered to beef and broccoli and I wish it would have had more flavor. We shared crab Rangoon which was yum! And Mark had the pork egg roll. It was just okay. If you are going to come here we recommend the Tso Chicken!

Updating my review and giving it 5 stars. I got sweet and sour chicken this time, and it was phenomenal. The chicken was juicy with a crisp outer shell. The rice was amazing and there wasn’t any sauce on it, so it was perfect. Great place to go, 100% recommend.

Clean food… as in prepared per f ectly… no grease clouding the flavor, no syrup over sugaring the protein. Best Chinese I have had outside of a pricy Chinese bistro.

This place was a mess. We walked in to a restaurant that wasn’t very busy, but there weren’t very many places to sit. Why? Because the tables and booths had dirty plates of food. The service was pretty terrible. The food was cheap. There is a reason for that. The food just wasn’t good at all. The only reason we came here was because Amerasia had a wait. and we had our young daughter with us. We should have waited, or just went to Oriental Wok… both are better options.

I usually hit the OTR restaurants but I thought I would give my own town a shot. I was nervous that this place had good ratings for being a burbs kind of place. I was proven wrong! I had schezwan chicken. Nice clean flavors with a bit of spice. I can’t wait to go back and try more menu items. The sushi looked good too. They are still working out some service kinks being a new restaurant but that will work its way out over time. I got a pork egg roll but that wasn’t as amazing as the main dish. Skip the egg roll and save your appetite for the main dish! Less than $ 10 for an app and plenty of a main dish.

Sometimes the best Chinese restaurant for those living in OTR is in Ft. Thomas! My husband and I recently grabbed a scrumptious dinner here on Sunday night, when many of the closer restaurants were closed. It’s about a 12 minute drive, with plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is inviting-well lit, clean, with nice booths and great decorations. My husband and I split two sushi rolls-spicy tuna and Philadelphia. I loved the Philadelphia-well crafted, fresh ingredients. The spicy tuna could have used a bit more kick. For our entrée, we followed fellow Unilocalers’ advice and split one order, which was more than enough. We got the vegetarian Szechuan bean curd, which was spicy but not too spicy, chock a block filled with fresh and delicious vegetables. The bean curd was actually the silkiest tofu I’ve ever had, but its fried exterior gave it a delicious crunch! Ooh! It was great. The fried rice that came with it looked more like rice dyed yellow. Next time I’ll get the plain rice. The service was very friendly and attentive, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious! An absolutely must-try for anyone near downtown Cincy.

The prices are very low and the portions are generous. Unfortunately the food is not very good and service is extremely slow. Not that I know what authentic chinese food is but the food here seemed really Americanized. I have never had a hot and sour soup with carrots, celery and slices of tomato. It was practically vegetable soup. Very strange. The shrimp tempura roll had lettuce in it and spicy mayo. The only dish we liked that we had was the chicken lo mein. We had sweet and sour chicken and a shrimp egg roll but didn’t really like either. The restaurant has an extensive chinese menu, a big American food menu, and a sushi menu with an 8 daily rolls menu, a sandwich board of additional chinese dishes, and CELLphone cases. Also there was obnoxious tv on.

What a great find! My husband and I decided to give this place a try and I am glad we did. We ate here on a Friday night and there was no wait. We wanted to try several things so decided to split General Tso’s Chicken, Eel Avocado Rolls, and Fried California Rolls. The General Tso Chicken came out first and it was delicious. Probably the best I have had of this dish. The sauce was very good and the vegetables were freshly chopped. It was huge too, we could have split that as our meal without the sushi. About 5 minutes later the sushi came out which was fine because we were splitting everything, but if we weren’t then I would have been waiting for my meal as he ate his, but for us it wasn’t a big deal. The sushi was freshly made and very good. We were very happy with our food choices. The restaurant itself is very clean, including the bathrooms. They even have umbrellas growing from the lights above, crazy right?! Overall for the food, the price, the portions, it is a very good option in Ft. Thomas and we will be back for sure!

My husband and I have eaten here a few times, when we are having the, «I don’t want to cook anything and just want to pick up some simple chinese food» fix. I’ve always been happy. I’m not a huge fan of Chinese food in general. I’d rather do Thai(Mmm. Thai Express!), but this place is a step above most carry out Chinese restaurants. We’ve done carry out every time, so I can’t speak to the sit down experience. But when I go inside, the place always seems very clean and well taken care of. There aren’t a whole lot of places to choose from in Ft. Thomas, so I hope this place has success and stays. You can tell from the pictures, but they do a lot of nice touches with their food to make it appealing to the eye. Just small touches, but those touches can add up. A while back, they had a lot of daily specials — buy one get one free or 50% off. Those were great deals, because the meals were hefty portions. I haven’t seen too many of those deals lately, but if you see the chalk board out front with a deal, I recommend you give it a try!

The crab rangoon’s are the best ever! The egg roll reminds me of my childhood when my mom learned how to make them from scratch. Her teacher was a chef from China. When I could taste the smoky goodness of the roast pork in the fried rice, they had me! This is the real deal. They cook to order, from scratch. You need to try it even if you do not like Chinese food. The food is miles away from the normal greasy Chinese! Finally, they give you a piece of fruit for dessert. I have seen this at high end restaurants with a $ 30+ meal, but my meal was $ 12.
