The«Milk & Cookie» is a chocolate cupcake with Oreo frosting and an Oreo baked on the bottom! The«Black & White» is a vanilla cup with chocolate ganache topping, white cream frosting and chocolate shavings. Both cup were amazing but the«Flourless Chocolate Cake» was AMMMMMAZING! When chocolate fudge and chocolate cheesecake make a baby you get the @Flourless Chocolate Cake”! Definitely stop by if you want to curb your sweet tooth.

The cupcakes are good… We tried three.(Don’t judge). The peanut butter cookie was super fresh but really heavy. Cute little shop, the garden out back makes your inner child come to the surface. Too many«trinkets» or retail items that were well displayed but they’re all along the baking theme

I really want to give a better review of this sweet little place, but after my order I just can’t. The actual cake part of the cupcake, not impressed. The giant mounds of mousse, or strawberry frosting, etc is really good. They were all beautifully presented and the chocolate dipped strawberries were pretty good. The shop is cute and quaint, and the staff were all great. I just can’t get past the dry cupcakes.

I am confused by the mixed reviews, but I really loved this place. It is obviously a boutique style bakery so I wasn’t surprised when there wasn’t a lot to choose from. I came in about 2PM on a Friday. I wanted to get some cupcakes for my husband’s birthday. It was about $ 14 for 4 cupcakes. Pricey, but worth it. They were absolutely delicious. Their frosting is the bomb! Husband loves red velvet and he was very pleased with his cupcakes. The décor is very cute! We will be back for sure.

Consistently delicious! We’ve been coming here for a couple years and every time, they’ve impressed us. There are usually about 10 varieties of cupcakes each day but they sell out pretty fast so plan to come early. The staff is always upbeat and friendly. They have a punch card too so when you come back, and you’ll want to come back, you’ll eventually get a free visit. P. s. Get the cookie dough cupcake. It’s amazing!

Delicious cupcakes! We chose the chocolate with blackberry and the champagne ones. Both were wonderful, but the blackberry was the prettiest And most tasty! Loved the hospitality!

Picked up two of the remaining three cupcakes they had today.(~4pm) An almond joy and a pumpkin spice. The cakes were dry(pumpkin more than the almond joy, which was filled with a syrupy coconut and topped with a chocolate ganache) and the frosting for me was way too heavy(you could taste the butter). Was one of the spots on my Fort Walton bucket list… Definitely not the Cupcakery for me; I’ll stick with Sprinkles.

They saved our wedding day! After a huge mistake from the other bakery we followed the reviews from Unilocal and ended up at A Cupcakery by the Sea. We were extremely happy as we walked in and saw the perfect little coconut buttercream cake just waiting for us to take it with us. As we tried to hold back our taste buds, we chose 7 other different cupcakes which they have displayed perfectly for your eyes to tantalize over. The expert craftsmanship they offer and the variety of cupcakes to choose from make this task a little challenging. As we drove away, cupcakes in hand(yes we all grabbed one from the box as soon as we could) we bit into the velvety frosting and nabbed a good amount of cupcake to create the happy adventure in our mouth. The cupcakes will make you smile and might even make you roll your eyes back in your head from enjoyment. Stop here, eat here, and then repeat.

Very good cupcakes. They catered an event for us and served their cupcakes and small cakes in parfait cups. They were all so good. We had Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefers that night as entertainment and everyone of them pigged out on the sweet gems(even the ones who only ate healthy) Were also a big hit with our guests. Thank you Cupcakery!

I was here early summer when I found this place when I was visiting my bf in Florida and I stayed in a hotel in fort whalton. I walk in and it’s quite a spacious space for being a cupcake shop, there’s a lot of room and it looks really nice. but I wasn’t really greeted or welcomed in the store and I came right after opening too so it was just me. when the worker came out of the back she just kinda looked at me, no introduction to the store or what they were offering or how are you? it just felt really awkward as she watched me look at their cupcakes. there cupcakes were okay and they did have good selection to choose from but their customer service can be a little more enthusiastic

Ugh! Love this place! But the love will show on my hips and butt so have to come here once in awhile. So worth it though.$ 4 a cupcake. Could use better customer service-a ‘lil snobby if you ask me.

Limited selection the afternoon I went which was disappointing. I know that means everything is fresh but it is still frustrating as a customer. I tried the pistachio macaroon which k though lacked actual pistachio flavor. Like none. Maybe a bad batch? Two stars The Reese’s cake ball was great. Moist, chocolatey, and delicious. Five stars The cupcakes they had left I split with my wife. PB&j and coconut. They were good. PB&j was unique but ultimately kind of tasted like a sandwich. Lol. I’d be pang to try more flavored. Three stars for now. I’ll be back. After all we are in FWB and at least for now I’m not sure there are great alternatives. But I’m sticking with 3 stars for the time being. Hope to be blown away next time!

This place has been so hard to buy a cupcake. Their hours are from 9 to 5 but they close when they run out of baked goods. The hubby and I saw the last two cupcakes: lemon and almond joy. But the lady in front of us couldn’t get enough of the cupcakes that she took the only ones we wanted to try. What a let down! We ordered two of each macaroon, a chocolate chip cookie and the coconut cupcake. The lavender and rose cupcakes were interesting. I combined half the lavender and half the vanilla, which tasted delicious. If only bakeries made macaroons with two different infused flavored. I prefer the Bön appetite macaroons but I have to try this place again and at an earlier time when everything is fresh. Baked goods for breakfast? Yes, please! The chocolate cookie was aligned with the hubby’s preference, crunchy outside and soft chewy center. The coconut cupcake was expected, nothing out of the ordinary! I have to come back and try their other cupcakes before providing a concrete review.

Cupcakes were great. Store resembled a little doll house. Everything was on the pricey side but supporting local makes it worth it.

Boutique cupcake shop — very cute. Not a huge choice of cupcakes, but what they have on display are beautifully decorated and super tasty. Customer service could be a little friendlier. Note: With all the displays out, it’s really not a great place to bring little kids.

I found out about this little gem when I went on a hunt for one of my favorite things, deluxe cupcakes. Staff: Attentive, friendly. Location: 5⁄5. Right in downtown FWB, but blink and you miss it! Food: 5⁄5. Best way to see what they got is through their Facebook page or visiting the shop. So far my favorite has been the rose petal flavor. Pricing: 5⁄5. Not bad, military discount on Wed! Only complaint: N/A.

Military discount on Wednesday’s! I kind of have a thing about trying new cupcake places when on travel and I gave this place a try when in the area. I typically do not like icing that is more ‘airy’, but the cupcakes and icing here was great! The woman working the store was also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend trying this place! Prices were on par with other boutique/bakeries as well.

Pros: presentation & the butter cream frosting Cons: price, size, cake could be moister, & It was worth trying a new place, but I won’t be back. Fresh Market in Destin has cupcakes for the same price but they are twice the size and more moist and flavorful. I was REALLY hoping these were going to be my new favorite, but they just fell short.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this cupcakery. Everything is fresh baked daily & if there are leftovers from the day before they are half priced. I got a half dozen of the day old cupcakes and there were fantastic. Very moist. I also had a fresh earl grey tea cupcake which was phenomenal. Macaroons were ok. The rose flavor was the best for me, but having traveled and had the Laduree macaroons from Paris, it was nothing too special. This cupcakery is Fort Walton Beach’s equivalent to Sprinkle’s cupcakes in California.

We stopped by on a whim while on vacation and had a great time with the shop ladies and enjoyed the cupcakes. We had a bacon cinnamon cupcake, a couple coconut macaroons, and strawberry something cupcake. Several other comments mentioned the cupcakes were a bit dry and we thought they were too, but it was towards the end of the day and I’m sure they’d been made that morning. Icing was great though. By all means, stop in.
