The shrimp po’ boys are awesome! Made to order pizza is also a favorite of our group. We are here yesterday for lunch and I am already craving it again. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is top notch. Don’t forget to get the garlic olive oil bread dip to wards off any zombie apocalypse later in the evening. Definitely worth driving a little out of the way for some great food.

I do not have words to express my AMAZEMENT! This restaurant stepped in and saved a 50th wedding anniversary party for us and they did a FANTASTIC job! They made the most delicious chicken piccata, antipasti salad, ziti, and chicken parmigiana! They did this on an incredibly tight timeline and over the Billy Bowlegs Festival weekend. THANKYOU is not enough… I hope everyone will frequent Ali’s as it is one of the BESTRESTAURANTS in town!

This is a family favorite. Friendly staff, great wine and food. It’s kid friendly but date night quality. Kids can get a delicious pizza while parents enjoy a really nice meal. We make sure to come here every time we are in town.

When we walked in we were impressed! Very clean and the smell of garlic and other spices was intoxicating. We assumed we were in for some great Italian food… boy were we wrong! Service was friendly and warm, no problems there, they went out of their way to allow me to order off the dinner menu. so far so good. We purchased a plate of spice oil with bread.again.this was very good… but here In is the problem, it was the best part of our meal!!! My wife ordered the standard of every great Italian eatery, the pasta was over cooked, the red gravy was without substance and the meatballs should have been called breadcrumb balls. I tried both of hers and I agreed. Meatballs were soft and with no chew. When the plate came out I saw 5 meatballs and thought wow, very ample portion, when I tried one, found out they were meatballs cut in ½ with the cut side down, to appear like 5 big meatrballs. Wife says the entire meal reminded her of high school pasta! She did not finish her meal nor did she wish to bring any home! I had the veal marsella w/penne. The meal was average the veal chewy the onions were almost cooked and the sauce a little thin, but had a good taste, the pasta was el dente the way I like it, but for $ 25.00 the veal dish should have been much better. We thought we had found a gem, but it turned out to be a DUD. Maybe some body in the kitchen was having a bad day, but we will never ever know, as that was our 1st and last time going here to eat. I am a Sicilian, grew up in the Italian section of Boston, if any bistro ever served this quality of food, they would be run out of Boston. We also eat out 3 to 4 times per week up and down the east coast. this was not a great lunch… period!

The owner at this place is so knowledge about is wines. He allowed my group and I to try a few before we selected what bottle we wanted to purchase. The garlic oil with the bread is a must try. It’s so delicious. I think anything you get on the menu will be a wonderful choice.

Hostess and server were just the proper side of surly. Caesar salad outstanding. Excellent bread although served with little plastic tubs of butter, ala-waffle house. House wines include Reunite Lambrusco and William Wycliff«champagne». Calamari was fine. Nicely fried but no seasoning. Marinara wasn’t too heavy. Chicken Parmesan was a masterful balance of duality. The chicken was beautifully pounded out and fried with a crisp, delicate crust. They then, sadly, poured canned pizza sauce over it, probably Sam’s Best. We went in the middle of the afternoon, the place was empty… and yet they placed another couple very at the very next, quite proximate, table. All in all, Ali’s is a trailer queen trying to be a beauty queen.

Awesome as always… from the food to the personal attention from the owners and servers. We drive from Navarre to Ali’s when we want a meal we need to be perfect.

Valentine’s Day brunch and we asked the waitress if they had bottomless mimosas and she said yes. Finished 2 bowls of gumbo, caprice salad, and bruschetta. Waitress tells us manager stated the endless mimosas were with entrée only after we had finished our meal and asked for the check so charged us 4.00 per glass…

Thin crust pizza was very good. Make sure to arrive before 6 pm to pay half price for pizza. Gelato was pricey. Staff was helpful and polite but definitely not a kid-friendly setting.

I really enjoy this place when I come to Ft Walton Beach. great location in the heart of the downtown strip. Their atmosphere is very nice yet not pretentious. They have an outdoor area but if you really want the view with your Italian try Caffe Italia next door, if you can get in. The caprese sandwich and bruschetta were great for lunch. I’ve also enjoyed their calamari in the past. Tastes fresh and of good quality. My guy gets the Ali’s pasta dish with anchovies. This time we could see the small anchovy fibrous bones which looked like little gray hairs but after googling and finding this normal, I got over it. They also provide bread with yummy garlic/oil concoction. Great service, attentive and sweet waitress who went above and beyond to make sure our questions were answered.

Unacceptable quailty. I went here for lunch on a Thursday with a friend. We ordered the fried raviolis, spinach salad and baked ziti. The fried ravioli had too thick of a crust resulting in an unbalanced texture, though it was seasoned well. The marinara sauce that accompanied it was a thin, overcooked red sauce. It was so overcooked the diced onions in it turned to mush with the slightest touch. It reminded me of a spicy version of Lunchables tomato sauce — truly flavorless and disgusting. I enjoyed the roasted onions on the salad and nothing else. The balsamic vinaigrette tasted like a sugar syrup, probably pre-made from a commercial brand. I don’t know why this was served when it’s so simple to make a good vinaigrette with oil, vinager, and an emulsifier(mustard would have done well). The hard boiled egg was overcooked giving the yolk a sandy texture encased in a smelly bluish-grey coating(the sign of an over-boiled egg). As pictured it was cracked out of the shell in an unappealing amateurish fashion. The baked ziti wasn’t ziti, it was penne. The penne was overcooked, resulting in a mushy disintegrating texture. The sauce was the same Spicy Lunchables sauce that was served with the raviolis. I suspect this dish was microwaved or some component(the sauce?) was, if not then it boiled in the pot long enough to destroy any tomato flavor, leaving a spicy salted red water with mush. The mozerella on top added nothing to the dish. It’s unfortunate the cook made such amateurish mistakes, the meal could have been been palatable, instead we sent all plates back half-finished. If this is the sauce they use on their pizzas then I would avoid it at all costs. I will go here again in a few months to see if this was just an off day, perhaps we ordered the wrong things. But if they can’t even Boil an egg properly, I have little faith my assessment is wrong.

What a lovely evening. Ali’s was our choice this year for our family reunion supper and we were not disappointed. The service was prompt and accurate and the food was delicious. We will certainly be back again and look forward to it. Thank you Charlotte.

I have had many things at Ali’s over the last couple of years and have never walked away sad. By far the BEST thing on the menu is their Chef’s Special White Pizza with prociutto, tomatoes, cheese and cream! The cream sends this pizza over the edge and I refuse to order anything else. Crust is also think and delicious. It is pricey but it is worth it.

I came here with my mom for a really late lunch(3 ish) and the restaurant was pretty much empty. We got great service and the food was pretty good. Wine was on special(I think buy one get one free) and the charcuterie platter was really tasty. Lots of food! We split a salad after that and it was good, nothing special. I’ll be back again to try something else on the menu, but it’s on the pricey side so I won’t rush back.

Food is par, service is questionable, prices are obnoxious. I paid 45 bucks for a bottle of wine that cost 20 dollars at a store. The food took over an hour to come out. Then the management acted as if it was my fault the restaurant was busy. They tried to guilt us into taking the food home because the waiter has to pay for it which we found it afterwords, was a lie. I will never come back here.

This place really deserves 3.5 stars, but it isn’t an option. The bruschetta was great, and the pasta was really tasty, but the pizza was just mediocre. The realtor from which we rented our condo recommended the wild mushroom pizza, so I was excited to try it. It wasn’t bad by any means… Just no wow factor! The inside of the restaurant was very appealing… Perfect for a date night!

Awesome meal. Perfect portions for the right price. Service was nice. We were an adult party of 4 so if you are a party of 20 who knows. Those big party reviews crack me up. This is not a Michelin star restaurant. But, we give it 5 stars on such a wonderful experience, food, service, ambiance and value. We will be back. PS I really liked the grouper special and the bite of lasagna was tasty too. Wait. Just got the bill. Wow. This place is a great value. Wow.

The food was good. Menu was limited, and I expected more flavors, but had the spicy sausage pizza, and was satisfied. Also had some fried shrimp(delicious). Very clean! Service was amazing! Thanks Brett! We will return!

To start with our Russian accented server was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. We went on a Saturday night at 6:15pm and it was packed on the inside. Only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. My wife ordered the blackened grouper special while I went with the New York Strip with suateed spinach. My steak was ordered medium rare, it came out medium but was still good. We only had water, because, well… that’s all we dirnk 95 of the time for our health. During the meal I noticed the wall kept lighting up with flashes of light and then I discovered that the main intersection at Brooks Bridge was keeping cars lights up on the wall. Not a big fan of the ambience on a Satuurday night here. My bill was $ 62 and it felt like it was worth about $ 35. It was ok… but not a big fan.
