I came here as a kid thinking this place was great. I don’t remember there being an arcade. It made it seem pretty cheesy. My boyfriend and I each ordered a burger. I loved mine! It was blue cheese and cooked the way I ordered it. He ordered his well done(sacrilegious to me) and it was cooked medium. Service was weak, as I had to ask 3 times for a water. And it’s very overpriced. I think the burgers were $ 15 each. It’s plenty of food. Also specialty drinks are very weak.

The food was great and the arcade is very liberal when giving tickets.(Never had that much success at Chuck E. Cheese) Can be a bit pricey… it was $ 59 for two burgers, app, and 2 sweet teas. But that southern sweet tea was great & the kids loved their souvenir cups! Black and blue bacon burger was an A+ Hot crab dip for appetizer was great! Would definetly go back… but it will have to be after next pay day. :)

Arrived at 5:30 pm and was seated immediately. Drinks and appetizer arrived within 3 minutes. Crab dip was so delicious. Waitress recommended the stuffed parmesan shrimp and wow was it good. Received our food within 10 minutes of sitting down. Very impressed!!! I just can’t say enough about the wonderful service!

Tourist food. It’s very overpriced for the sub-par food you receive. Ordered the shrimp scampi, $ 20.00 for maybe 10 pieces of shrimp that were essentially cooked in garlic butter and doused with bread crumbs and a small side portion. The food was cold. Waitress was okay, not wonderful. The place itself is a cool spot. They’re are a lot better places to go to other than this spot.

We had the gator bites and they were so good, fried perfectly. I had the hamburger and it was also really good.

I’ll keep it short and sweet! Don’t order any of the fish chargrilled or blackened unless you want to raise your blood pressure by about 30 points. Horribly over-seasoned to the point it hurt to eat. Even after scraping off all the salty seasoning it was still not very edible. Hush puppies were pretty good and the draft beer was nice and cold… that’s the only highlight here. Tourist food at its best.

Extremely disappointed in this place. Went to the one in Destin a while back but the one on the island was terrible. Should probably have left when we asked our server about the mac and cheese and was told it was essentially Stouffer’s frozen mac and cheese with some bread crumbs thrown on top. We ordered the hot crab dip and it was not hot(neither spicy hot nor physically hot) and the chips were stale. The stuffed shrimp parmesan was sitting in a bowl of grease/oil and essentially not edible. Avoid this place since there are other options close by.

Very good. Attentive servers; even if they are not your specified server. Had Erica on her first night and she was great. They give a 15% military discount too which is quite helpful!

Food is average, nothing so good I would recommend. I guess the best at the table would be the overcooked and room temp burger. Had to send some food back because it was totally cold, not sure why it wasn’t busy. They have an alligator tank with 2 small alligators and for $ 10+ you can look at one and and have a pic taken. Two sandwiches, 2 soda and a Kids meal $ 54 so quite pricey for what it is. The arcade was fun for the 3 yr old. Overall won’t be back.

Just ok. Beach food. Cute ambiance and fun for the kids. If you are looking for good seafood— don’t come here. If you are looking for a meal and entertain your kids– this is your place.

I had the Gator burger. Worst food of my trip thus far. It is not the taste of the gator that is the deterrent. It was poorly put together and the price for what you get is outrageous. Everyone around me got regular beef burgers and came out with a good sized portion, I left still hungry and went to taco bell afterwards. The burger was a tiny piece of meat in texas toast and nothing else to it. Nothing. No condiments, just a dry fairly tasteless burger. I was quite excited about it after the waiter said it was an excellent choice. He was wrong. Avoid this dish.

It’s tourist food. Plain and simple. Got the crab dip which was very full of mayo and sour cream… minimal crab. The alligator gumbo was rather good actually, though it didn’t have the spice I would expect and it was missing that dark roux flavor that I love, tasted heavy on file but really good nonetheless. My burger temp was cooked perfect though the sautéed mushrooms were neither hot, or sautéed for that matter, didn’t get the blackened flavor(on a blackened burger) and the tomato was incredibly unripe and poor quality. Server was friendly, food came out fast but nothing earth shattering in the way of food. Great place to take the kids and I’m sure the tourists love it but it was middle of the road at best for me.

Better food than I had figured. Nachos were insanely good. Homemade chips with white queso=delish. Hubby enjoyed their Gator Pucker sandwich. The homemade onion rings weren’t notable. Server was just ok. Not on top of refills. Food took a long time to get and they were heavily staffed for such a small amount of patrons. Hence the 4 stars.

I had the stuffed shrimp which was delicious, but my sides of hush puppies, coleslaw, & steamed broccoli were a little sub-par. My partner had the chicken, shrimp & alligator platter, which was good but not extraordinary –he chose to have it with honey mustard sauce which was tangy and flavourful. It’s a fun atmosphere, you’re able to feed baby alligators here!($ 3 per bag of food) but otherwise no entry fee. Apparently weekends are very busy with lines out the door, so come during the week if possible!

Came here while on vacation with my family. The stuffed shrimp was awesome. The rest of the people in my party said it was typical tourist trap food. Over priced and fried without flavor. It is very child friendly and has a decent arcade with games that my two year old son enjoyed. He won about 700 tickets and got a ton of prizes.

Environment is fun and friendly. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. Actually he was the best part of the trip. The food was mediocre. I’m from the south and accustomed to really good fried seafood so I hope any visitors from the north don’t judge our southern food by this place. They do have really good sweet tea and the mac n cheese was good. Fried seafood not good. Fries not good. Really a disappointment for us.

At 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday we had over an hour wait; but we passed the time in the video arcade where the kids played games for tickets/prizes. The restaurant was packed. We waited about 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. The two ladies who waited on us were very nice, though. There was quite a wait for the food, but our kids spent the time checking out the three alligators in the next room. On my last visit here, I really enjoyed the chicken strip salad with cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, croutons and their fabulous honey mustard dressing. It didn’t disappoint this time either. My husband had a burger with bacon, cheddar and French fried onions. He said it was one of the better burgers he’s had in the Fort Walton Beach area. He opted for the mac and cheese as a side, and rated it fabulous. The kids enjoyed the kids meals of popcorn shrimp and chicken strips, although the chicken was a little dry and breaking apart. My son had a «bonus» hushpuppy with his fries :). They also liked the kiddie cocktail options, namely the Blue RQ, a concoction of pineapple juice, Sprite, and blue Curaçao. Bottom line, the food was enjoyed by all. Expect a long wait during prime hours, but there’s plenty to do to pass the time.

Extremely overpriced, food was terrible. My wife and I split the popcorn shrimp. A «huge» portion. The pic I attached tells the picture.

Food was not at all good and way overpriced, but the staff were extremely nice and any complaint we had was met with a remedy offered by them. We did the alligator pictures which seems to be the only reason people come here. Specifics on food: Ordered hot wings and crab dip — both were tolerable Chicken fingers — greasy mess Shrimp and grits — way too sweet, no kick as promised Gator burger — undercooked Burgers — burnt, couldn’t eat

I was disappointed with this place. We went so my grands could hold an alligator, they pulled it out of a dog crate, you paid $ 10 got your picture and it was over… The food was fair, lots of fried food. The waitress was not friendly but they let the kids play on the stage because no one else was in the restaurant.
