I can’t help chuckling about a few of the complaints about no one coming to take your order. You have to place your order yourself(look for the big sign that says ‘order here’). I think if you sit in the section behind the bar they serve you but other than that you’re on your own. Anyway, atmosphere is kinda odd, feels like I’m in a hall, very loud. Food is great, unique combinations. We love the Salsiccia. We’ve tried a few of the appetizers and they’re delicious as well.

The food is good. The menu is pretty simple but well executed. I have never had a bad meal at either of these two locations in town. Prices pretty reasonable. Pizza ranges from $ 9 to $ 12.50. There are a few different appetizers and salads. Several theme to sandwiches. Simple and easy. Good for lunch.

Greeted promptly. Seated promptly. Ordered promptly. Restaurant was extremely noisy. Ordered garlic bread and calzone. Garlic bread arrived quickly. Bread was fresh and tasty but no discernible garlic taste. Calzone arrived timely and was hot and tasty although small portion. Service was great and friendly. Will soon try other items on menu.

What a strange place. To start out with, ordering is confusing. Can’t we just order from the table? You have servers — utilize them. Ordering from a very confusing menu and then finding a table amid the screaming kids and loud chairs is not what I have in mind when going out for dinner. Décor is kind of college-dining-hall. That is to say, nothing. Very loud, no noise control(architecturally), and not enough seating are my main complaints. The food is just ok. I have never been excited to eat the pizzas. Maybe arugula on a pizza isn’t my thing. Gluten free pizza is available, and much appreciated. It is good, as gluten free pizzas go. Overall, nothing to get excited about. Not a place to relax, that’s for sure.

Always great pizza. Always horrible service. They only have about 6 beers on tap and about 10 bottle selections. All which are the basics like Bud, Bud Light and Coors. Does anyone even drink those anymore? The pizza is delicious. I like the spicy 800 degrees pizza. However, the service is always horrible. Always. They are unfriendly and not even quick! This particular visit I sat at the bar. The bar tender did not even so much as say Hi to me. Took my order, delivered it and never even asked how it tastes. I hate eating in but I just wanted to sit at the rail and enjoy a pizza and a beer. Maybe a friendly conversation. Nope. Nothing. I don’t know why I even bother but I do LOVE their pizza.

I had the Carne pizza and it was very good. Loved the crust. Staff was friendly. Nice, clean restaurant.

This is the absolute best pizza. You will not go wrong stopping at 800 Degees. My favorite is the 800 Degree pizza which has sausage that they make daily, red peppers and ricotta cheese on top. It is absolutely delicious. It is spicy so beware if you are sensitive to spices. The pepperoni pizza is great too. The pizza is cooked in a large wood fire pit. It only takes minutes to get your pizza depending on how busy they are. It is worth the wait even if they are busy. You won’t be disappointed… it truly is a place you should check out.

Get the pomodoro with fresh mozzarella in place of the ricotta… best pizza I’ve ever had!

Good, fresh dough, and a nice selection of toppings. My go to is the signature 800 degree pizza — nice and spicy.

Hands down, the Margarita pizza is a must! Quality ingredients = great taste consistently. Bruschetta is tasty as well as the Mista salad.

We visited for lunch around 11:30, we had a party of 6. It was not very busy. We sat outside on the patio, maybe that was our mistake? We waited a few minutes for our menus. Then put our drink order in. For the ones who ordered water, it took about 10 minutes. The waiter came back to take our food order, still no drinks for the ones who ordered a soda. After waiting abut 25 – 30 minutes the sodas arrived. The food arrived after about 45 minutes. I am not sure what goes on at lunch, but we won’t be returning. The one star is for the pizza, when it finally arrived it tasted good. Service was slow or non-existent.

I’ve been a fan of both locations for years, in spite of their ability to make a margherita pizza that didn’t just taste like a plain cheese pizza. Ate there last night, and the beer selection(which has long been great) was terrible and the pomodoro pizza was pretty much just the margherita with red pepper flakes. I’ve recommended this restaurant to others, and it’s long been a place I’ve enjoyed, but my last few times at both locations have been less than fantastic. Not sure what’s going on, but I’m not loving it anymore.

Always love 800 degrees. The service and food are consistently good. They offer many unique pizza topping options and also offer gluten free crusts. They have a nice beer and wine selection as well. Hands down the best pizza in fw. Also, love the Mista Salad.

First time there and the last! I went in to grab a salad to go, didn’t know to expect and ordered half of the mista salad. There were barely any nuts in it. It was basically just a plain salad with a sauce container that took up most of the salad’s container space! Almost 5 $ for this! Not worth it. Maybe their pizzas are better, just don’t go for the salad. I’d rather go to Pizza Hut for the salads. You get more out of your money. So disappointed !

I was looking forward to trying the pizza, because I heard it was good. Unfortunately, I never got to try it. After waiting in a long line for at least 30 minutes, probably longer, I was seated. At least 20 more minutes went by. I hadn’t been asked what I wanted to drink or even greeted. A few waitresses passed our table, that was in the front by the kitchen area, several times without asking have we been helped yet. Other people around us received their drinks. Kind of made us wonder if we were being discriminated against. Poor customer service. I left the restauraunt.

I travel professionally so I come across a lot of pizza. I think pizza is God’s gift to man! LOL… I love pizza… I got the 800 degrees pizza… toppings were okay, the crust above average. You gotta get out of Fort Wayne to have a really good pizza… For Fort Wayne standards it’s not bad

My wife and/or I have stopped at 800 Degrees at least half a dozen times on trips to and from Indianapolis and have never experienced even a hint of disappointment. For drinks, they feature a rotating selection of craft beer on draught, with a focus on Midwestern breweries. Someone has put some thought into the selections too — it isn’t just the usual line-up of big names and standard styles. For food, all we’ve ever had is the pizza — why try anything else when the pizza is 5 star? At this point we have tried nearly every one of the pizzas at least once and have enjoyed each and every one of them. The menu of signature pizzas includes traditional wood-fired standards like the Margherita and the Rocket and also more unique and creative selections like their eponymous pie with house-made hot sausage. The crust is always the key to wood-fired pizza, and theirs is superb.(For crust aficionados, the crust here is a perfect example of a traditional wood-fired crust, as opposed to the chewier kind you typically find these days.) They also have mastered the right blend and amount of toppings on the pies. It really is just great wood-fired pizza, cooked perfectly in a real wood-fired oven. The facility is nothing spectacular(in a strip mall and with little in terms of décor), but is clean and features an open kitchen. Outdoor seating is available in the Summer and is far enough from the main roads to be enjoyable. We typically sit at the bar and have had good service every time. If sitting at a table you typically have to order at the counter and then your food is delivered to your table, which seems to cause confusion and is a bit inefficient, but I suppose they have their reasons for structuring the service that way. We’ll be back soon!

I’ve only experienced carry-out from 800 Degrees, so this review is mostly based on the food alone(although I received friendly service when picking up my orders). It’s difficult to find quality wood oven-fired pizza with creative ingredients in Fort Wayne, so 800 Degrees is definitely filling a much-needed niche. I’ve ordered their signature 800-Degree pizza with ricotta, roasted red peppers, homemade spicy sausage and a drizzle of chili oil, and would highly recommend it for any adventurous meat-lovers in the family. For the veggie-inclined, the Verdure option is wonderful in its own right; it is white-sauce based with goat cheese, and a large assortment of vegetables, including zucchini, red pepper, basil, fennel(!), grape tomatoes… and there is another drizzle option of bright-green chive oil. I believe it’s the best vegetarian pizza you can order in the area. The thin, oven-scorched crust may be different than the typical crust you’re accustomed to, but I think is more flavorful and authentic… so approach it with an open mind! If I visited Fort Wayne more often, I definitely try out the actual sit-down dining experience and some of the delicious-sounding salads and appetizers skipped over during typical carry-out.

Was in Fort Wayne for work for a few days and was a bit concerned about what my food options would be like on this trip given there are not many gluten-free dining options in the area. Fortunately, I found 800 Degrees which can make gluten free thin crust pizza! Dined in with co-workers and we were all very happy with our meals here! You can dine in, but have to order your food up at the counter. I ordered one of their signature pizzas on a gluten-free thin crust pizza, the Salsiccia which was amazing & had a great wood-fired taste to it: tomato sauce, mozzarella, sweet Italian sausage along with garlic, rosemary and olive oil. They have a great selection of signature pizzas or you can build your own. They also have a good selection of appetizers and salads, pastas, calzones and desserts along with an impressive beer and wine selection for a small pizza place! The service was also great here. Everyone was really friendly and never once made us feel rushed considering we ordered our food very close to closing and we were the last ones in the establishment. Will definitely come back here for food when in Fort Wayne for work again.
