Touma’s Bridal & Tuxedo

I went there in September to look at a veil. I wanted to do something different so was ordering an accessory and was going to work with the manager to get the veil just how I wanted it. I ordered it — way way more than I wanted to pay but felt pressured as someone else said. She said it would come in 1 – 2 months and she would call me. I called in December to check the status and she said it was back order and would not arrive until end of February! She said she would look into it and call me back. No call back. Called in January and she said she would rush order it and have it by the weekend. It’s been 2 weeks and still heard nothing. I just called there to cancel my order due to frustration and awful customer service. She says it will come in the
next couple of days” so I cannot cancel. Awful experience! It was overpriced to begin with, then awful customer service, and complete disrespect. I asked to talk to her manager/​the owner but was denied. Do not shop here!

Nice selection poor service. Order a dress too large and cost a lot to alter. Did not keep usvinformed on thecwedding dress status. Would not shop here aain

Five lovely stars for customer service! From my understanding, this place has been around for around 20+ years and is dedicated to making happy brides-​to-​be fulfill their wedding gown dreams.
Robin helped me pick out gowns according to some styles I was interested in, and also picked out a couple that I would never have thought I would want (the «surprisers»)…and they turned out to be great suggestions! She also gave excellent feedback on how to select the right veil and accessories depending on the dress style.
The selection was great, and what they do not have in stock (such as a particular designer and gown), they can work with you to try and get a special order in. Another plus for service.
Although I will probably not be getting a dress here (logistics and alterations may be tough due to my current residence out west), I would highly suggest the local brides-​to-​be to give this place a stop, maybe even a final stop.

I bought a beautiful Demetrios gown off the rack. The wedding dresses at Wendy’s Bridal and David’s Bridal cannot compare to the brands Touma’s offers. I thought the selection was good, and I did not feel pressured. I brought 5 people with me, and we all had a great time. We were able to negotiate the price so that made me even happier. I docked 1 star because the alterations were amateurish. Buy your beautiful, high-​quality gown here, but find a better seamstress for alterations.

I was recently engaged and home for the holidays so I decided to spend some time with my mom and sister looking at wedding dresses for me. I decided to go to Touma’s first because they carried Maggie Sottero gowns.
We walked in without an appointment and had no problems getting right in (it was a Tuesday at 11 am). I had no clue what I would end up with and told the consultant a few things I did not want. She pulled dresses as did I. We then went into the fitting room.
The dresses I was trying on were not in great shape. The only dresses that seemed to be clean and not torn were two brand new ones that we took off manikins. I liked the first dress I tried on and she immediately wanted to put on accessories. I did not want to do that until I knew which gown I liked the most. I felt like she was pressuring me into that gown. I liked a couple of my first dresses and then the rest were so similar and not good on me at all! The consultant wanted me to keep trying them on. I was getting very worn out and wanted to put the two on that I liked!
We finally got to the last two and we put a veil on. She then started adding accessories without asking what I wanted. I just felt overwhelmed and like I had lost control of what I wanted.
She repeated to me many times that I was in the best hands at this store. I just felt so pressured!
They had a 20% off sale going on so I felt like I needed to make a decision soon. So did she. We left without making a purchase and I did end up buying a different dress back where I live. I also found out that Touma’s is priced high on their dresses compared to others (without the discount). My advice is to check around on prices if you can.
