Is the food here reasonably priced? Yes but the old adage that you get what you pay for has never been more true. The BBQ here just doesn’t hold up to the standard set by the old guard establishments such as Cousin’s, Angelo’s, or Longorria’s. The sauce is a little to tangy and tasted store bought. The BBQ was too dry and lacked that good smokey flavor. I have only been here once so I will give it another go and update this review for the masses.

Calling Bill’s a «hole in the wall» is an understatement. The dining room, if you can call it that, was comprised of a half-dozen crummy tables and even crummier chairs. The walls were completely bare, with the exception of a window unit air conditioner and a small TV from the late 80s. There wasn’t anything welcoming about this place, inside or out. Based on the menu, it looks like they mostly serve burgers and tacos here. I ended up ordering a 2 Meat Plate: sliced beef(I assumed they meant brisket) and hot links. No ribs here. Their plates automatically come with beans and potato salad on the side. I got my order to go, just so I could eat in my truck instead of in the horrible dining area. The potato salad looked exactly like lumpy, instant mashed potatoes. The flavor was ok, but nothing fantastic. It would have been nice if there were some veggies mixed in for an added crunch. As for the beans, they were pretty pitiful too. They were really bland, and most likely came straight from a can. I couldn’t taste any seasoning at all, so I stopped eating after the first bite. I started my meat duo with the brisket. It had a disgusting brownish-gray color, no crust or bark, and certainly no smoke ring. The only flavors I could taste were salt and dry beef. It was also pretty tough, almost like eating a catcher’s mitt. I could go on and on, but there are only so many ways to describe how bad it was. My hot links had the characteristic reddish color of artificial spiciness. I caught a little heat, but not much. The meat was mushy and severely overcooked. Most of the casings had snapped apart at the seams, indicating high heat grilling rather than the«slow and low» of true barbecue. I only went here as a last-minute Plan B, but I sure won’t make that mistake again.

Okay this is the first one star I have ever given I’m usually very friendly with reviews. But I had to for this Place I had a half off coupon and bill was 46.00 so I was excited price was good I got a family pack which was 2lbs of brisket 6 buns 2 large potatoes salad and 2 large beans. Okay so the brisket tasted like roasted beef and tasted like it was sitting in water for a few days worst brisket I have ever had. The potato salad was generic tasting Albertsons is even better. Anthem beans were like unflavored pinto Beans. Next I ordered a large cheese burger it was dry Not a lot of flavor. My girlfriend got The chicken sandwich it was not over cooked but Had no Flavor. So overall review is bad it was cheap but even at half off I was mad I Spent money on this place. Finally found some barbecue I don’t like at all.

I really enjoyed the BBQ that Bills has to offer. It is VERY reasonable priced and the portions are perfect. I had the Chopped Brisket Sandwich and by the time I was finished, I was already wanting another one. The place is small and does not look too appealing but I will definately be eating here again. Oh, and the lady taking our order was very polite.

Came here because the BBQ place around the corner was out of ribs. I found this place with my iphone and decided to get my rib fix here. It’s a very small restaurant, probably could only fit 15 people in the main dining area. It took about 10 minutes for them to get my food to me. The ribs were covered with sauce, not the way I like ‘em but it’s my fault for assuming they came dry. Took a few bites and was not impressed ATALL. I can easily throw down a full pound of ribs, but these tasted as if they were sitting in a cooler for 2 weeks. I see why they drowned the ribs in the sauce… to mask the unfreshness these ribs had. I could only eat about 3 ribs before giving up. Sorry, but these were the worst ribs I’ve ever tasted.
