I walked in here with my kids in order to catch some quick dinner before going shopping at the Wal Mart across the street. They were out of noodles, and when I requested Kung Pao as an entrée, the guy behind the register told me it would be five minutes. Well, I had to wait about 10 minutes instead. Luckily, the kids weren’t misbehaving, so all was forgiven since the manager gave me two free drinks for the extra long wait. That took off four dollars off of my bill, so I was quite pleased because most fast food places around here wouldnt even apologize for that slight inconvenience. The food was just ok. I enjoyed the Chicken Mushroom entrée, but really disliked the String Bean Chicken; the green beans tasted nearly raw and very bland. The Kung Pao chicken was steaming hot, so I had no trouble finishing that off. Now, I will say that although the restaurant looked clean when I first walked in, upon closer inspection, I discovered soda spilt over the white counters by the soda station that hadn’t been bothered to be cleaned off. Also, when I took my son to the restroom, the trash can was missing a lid, so I could see that it was missing a trash bag. In the lobby, there were some napkins scattered on the floor in various areas. As a mother of two precocious picky eaters, I’m glad that I can find food with many options available to hand choose right before my eyes.
