Panther Island Brewing

On Fridays, in the late afternoon, for $ 10 you get a brewery glass and three beers. Well, really only a half if you choose the IPA with 8% ABV. I was surprised that there were only four beer choices, but that is what there was. The beer is served in a brewery warehouse with a large screen TV, showing sports. There are games available like cornhole and a wood stack that you try to pull pieces and restack them. Outdoors there are tables. Two guys with guitars entertained the happy hour crowd with music. A Food Truck was available. Overall, Panther Island is a very pleasant place to enjoy happy hour with your friends. Best wishes — we can always use more beer.

Great place! Lots of space for socializing, both indoors and outdoors. The brewery area is widely spaced out and there is not really any concern for being bunched up into one tiny place. Indoors, they have a cornhole game, three foosball tables, one of which is a Tornado, and two games of that strange washer-​on-​a-​hook-​in-​the-​wall thing. The outdoor area is a long row with lots of picnic tables. The place is extremely dog friendly. In terms of money, they are highly economical. $ 10 for a brewery tour on Fridays or Sundays will get you three beers plus a glass to take home. Today, they had run out of glasses, so we were instead given four beers in plastic cups for the $ 10. The service was incredible, and all of the workers /​people serving the bar were extremely personable and talkative. I had a great time, both with the other patrons and with the staff.

We love this place. We’ve been there probably 5 or 6 times. The beer is very good (although limited selection), and at $ 10 for 3 pints and a glass, it’s a good value.
What we enjoy most though is the atmosphere and the people who work there. It’s a fun place to hang out with other people who like beer and chilling. It’s great for families (foosball, jenga, etc) and pet friendly.
The décor is pretty — i think it’d make a great wedding reception venue. Parking is no problem, which is uncommon with breweries in DFW. And you can bring in whatever food you want.
They’re open Friday nights, when there’s live music and food trucks, and Sunday to just chill and watch the big screen. Give it a try!

This place is fantastic. They have the standard DFW deal, which is 3 pints for $ 10 and you get to keep the glass. As an added bonus, they unveiled a new beer last friday and everyone got a free pint! This was a special thing, so I don’t expect it everytime of course. There are only 3 (now 4) beers on tap, but obviously they’re all local one-​of-​a-​kind creations, so taste the local flavors of FTW. Just so you know, the IPA is a half pour, but it is 10%, so you’re still getting a bargain.
Know they’re open Fridays and Sundays only.
Great spot! Comfortable environment. Free foosball, live music, free ‘tour’, an awesome view of downtown, food trucks, and ample free parking. «Tour» is kind of a misnomer, because you just gather around and listen to one of the brewers chat, but I have experienced that at every of the dozen breweries I’ve visited here. I think Texas just doesn’t know what tour means, but I digress, lol.
Chatted with one of the Brewmasters Ryan for a while, and he could not have made my fiancée and I feel more welcome. He is passionate about his product and is working on new creations. A special thanks to him and we appreciate his kindness.
BONUS, their one year anniversary is on december 12^th, so we will definitely be clearing our calendars for their special saturday event!

Clearly a small town version of a vision more suited to a college centric, less sophisticated place.
Fort Worth needs something far more progressive. In addition, Rude, self entitled myopic (part?) owners. Clueless. Selfish. Did I mention rude?

Came to Panther Island Brewing for a wedding reception. So this review is for the venue more than the beer. But had a GREAT experience here.
I would estimate the room can accommodate 200 comfortably, more than that would be possible but would feel tight. The room was nicely decorated and space thought out very well. Open bar and cocktail stations were across the room from each other. A mixture of sitting and standing tables and some sofa circles gave opportunities for smaller social groups to form naturally. We found ourselves in conversations with strangers who were sitting or standing near us.
I’m a stout guy and tried the Sweet Fang seasonal which is a peanut butter chocolate milk stout. All things good in a single stout! I wish it had a bit more bite, but he flavor was good. My dye had Allergies and enjoyed it. The food was tasty and brought out at comfortable intervals to keep the party moving along.
Decorations were creative, mixing docking pallets, glass, metal, and lights in a festive way that blended well with the brewing equipment in the room. Crab cakes, unusual cheese (California’s Windsor with cranberries in was particularly delicious) tamales, deviled eggs, and the best tostadas I’ve ever had, kept us satisfied throughout the evening.
If you’re looking for a venue for a party or reception for 100 – 250 people, Panther Island Brewing will take good care of you!

Panther Island is a nice little place to go and enjoy a beer with friends.
They have plenty of parking since there is a giant lot in-​front of the brewery and it fits tons of cars.
You know the «brewery drill» $ 10 for tour and 3 samples, keep the glass.
Nice atmosphere but in my opinion the beer is just ok. None of the flavors were something that I would order at a bar.
They have this little porch with about 3 or 4 tables and they also have a few tables inside with live music.
I love the fact that they have live music, but in my opinion the place is kind of small so the music is so loud that is just distorted and you can’t really appreciate it. It just makes this loud mess that gives you a headache. Sitting outside is the best choice in my opinion.

This was a great little spot with surprisingly excellent beer. The Allergeez beer was truly some of the very best wheat beer I have ever had. I would love to see this on the menu of some local restaurants. I will definitely go back and I will most certainly be looking for this beer in the store. If you are heading to the stock yards this is a great place to kick off your evening out.

Enjoyed a great Friday evening here. Doors open at 5pm and as others have stated, you pay $ 10 when you enter to get a glass and three tickets for 3 beers. I love their beers a lot. The Allergeez and Real Good are perfect for a hot summer day, and their Cannonball is also quite delicious. The tour isn’t until 7:30 and we left before that. There are a few couches and comfy chairs, but mostly folding chairs and a few tables. I did see people bring their own collapsible chairs which seemed like a genius idea. I would throw those in the car for next time so we don’t get stuck standing. Music was lovely and the employees were nice.
The bathroom is the best around. The ladies’ room had 3 full stalls! The place had great a/​c, and just a general relaxing ambiance.
This was our first trip to a brewery and we loved it. We wondered if it would be something we could bring our kids to, but I don’t think so. They would be totally bored, not to mention the fact we aren’t sure we would want to anyways.
They do have some outdoor seating although pretty limited.
The parking lot is gravel but works great. It does start filling up pretty quickly around 5:30−6. Go and enjoy some great beers here!

Nice little brewery outside of downtown Fort Worth on Main Street by North Side. It’s a divvy little joint with pallets as tables. They have a Good selection of beer, at the moment there’s only 4. I liked the Alergeez it’s a hoppy, honey type brew. We attended on a Sunday because they are only open Friday and Sunday maybe to avoid competition from the other large brewery’s on Saturday. I Definitely be attending again great job guys.

Great place! They dont have a very large beer selection however the venue is spacious and seems to be AC cooled… which is a great thing when it’s 102 degrees outside! Great price as well. Only issue I had was that they werent open on Saturday!

Came here last Friday, the place is cool. I like how they used the wooden pallets and hang the lights from them. Same deal as most places, $ 10 — logo’ed glass and 3 beers. There was live music, a Puerto Rican band I believe, and two different food stands, pretzels and Cajun. Mostly standing room not a lot of seated areas. Not much outdoor space either. On to the beers, they had a choice of fours. No descriptions posted, only names so the bartender had to take me through them all. Two light and two dark beers. The beers were good, but i wasn’t that impressed by the place. Also tip, as we were driving there, we saw coyote drive in movie theatre, we plan on going there shortly. I never knew DFW had one!

this is a cool little place to hang out before a night out in downtown. or if you dont want that nightlife this is a great place either way.
idr the price but its 10 $ i think, gets you 3 – 4 drinks and you get to keep the pint glass. a lot like rahrs except its not as big and its fridays only which is the plus. they have cool seating board games and a band area. i like the set up better than rahr but wish it was bigger, theres food trucks that come by.
all in all a great place to hang out friday after work.

As a native of FW & recent Colorado transplant, I’m super pumped about having microbrews in my home town… I was even more excited when I saw a Sunday Funday post on facebook! The location is fantastic with a great view of downtown from a few tables. The brews themselves were better than I expected (try the cranberry orange brew… it was a little fruity but not overwhelming). Hubs really enjoyed the IPfnA. I would have given them 4 or 5 stars but I was a little dissatisfied with a couple little things:
1) No flights — what?!? a brewery without flights?! it sounds insane but it’s try. Sure they let you sample a few before settling on a flavor but still, a flight of 4 – 6 beers would be great.
2) Charging for stickers… in fact, it’s $ 3 for a $.03 sticker. Now, this may seem like a little thing to us Texans, but in colorado, stickers are almost a status symbol in the microbrew world. The more stickers you have on your water bottle, coffee mug, everything, the more «refined» your beer palette. Again, a little annoyance on my part, but it would’ve been cool to have a few FW brews next to my Colorado locales.
3) The waitress– she was super friendly, but didn’t know to much about the brews other than the names. A little detail goes a long way.
4) No menu that describes the brew. Again, a little detail but it would’ve been really nice to have.
This place is obviously new and still has a little way to go but give it a shot! It ain’t too shabby.

I was in town for the weekend and my Fort Worth friend’s wanted to meet up a Panther Island Brewing. I had never heard of it, so I immediately did some research and got a little excited. It’s a new location and located just north of the capital building on Main. Other than that I really had no idea what to expect.
We met up at about 7pm on a Friday evening. When we pulled into the parking lot I was shocked at how many cars there were and the crowd of people lined up to get in. We eventually found a parking spot on a dark street in back and got in line. The line was super fast. They take you credit card fyi and it is $ 10 for a wrist band. There are 3 tickets on the wrist band for your 3 drinks. The $ 10 is paying for the pint glass, which was badass and the wristband.
The inside was literally like a warehouse and to the right was all the brewing stuff. As we made our way through the swarm of people towards the back was the bar where people were lined up to get their brews. The lighting inside was pretty cool. The hoola hoop sting lights made for a nice effect. There were some tables and couches about, but there were full of groups of people.
When I got to the front of the line I noticed some of the names of the beers were interesting. I started off easy with the Real Good, then I had the Allergeez and then the Cannonball. They were all great! I did not try the IPf’nA. My friends and I stood in a circle in the middle of the warehouse for a couple of hours and had a great time socializing. Panther Island has a good thing going for sure! If I have a chance I would definitely come back here.

This review is for the Fort Worth location. Great food, great drinks and good cheer! I love this brewery! A couple of friends live a mile away from the new location. We decided to walk, bad idea. get an über. Great ambiance… I had to ask myself why more breweries are not open on Friday nights. Amazing bbq from Tripps’s with $ 5 for chicken or sausage sliders with great chips. Just opened up! Had an IPA, Scottish Ale and Wheat beer on tap. All were great. Couches were scattered throughout and they had plenty of seating. All employees were awesome. The folks behind the bar were congenial as were the folks at the door. You could really tell they loved their jobs which adds to a good experience for me. Check it out and dance with somebody!
