Wow Home Depot. I will never use you again. We ordered flooring from you because you were running an installation special. No one EVER mentioned to us that in an older home, you might not install due to subfloor or that you might charge thousands extra. We packed up our whole house and took four days off work for your installers to come, only to discover that the entire subfloor will have to be re-​built (which by the way, your installers don’t do) for the install. Meanwhile, we wasted our vacation days and packed our ENTIRE house up!!! Seriously? Don’t you think that a responsible part of the installation process should include someone coming to the house to see if it’s do-​able BEFORE the homeowner purchases flooring, has it delivered, takes four days of vacation time for the installers, and packs their entire five bedroom house up??? Wow. Who reimburses me for my time lost at work and the time lost in packing up my house?

Going to go with a little lower rating than usual as I was not too happy with the treatment I got at the garden center register. I was there, ready to go with ONE item, and no one was to be seen (did see her on the way in). Finally someone came up, did something on the register, said they would be right back and left. it took around 10 minutes for me to buy my ONE bag of potting soil. I felt I could have been rung up in under a minute and be gone and the cashier could return to whatever other thing she was doing.
