Waffle House

I came here to get a midnight snack, and it did not disappoint! Although I had to send my hash browns back because they didn’t have onions in them like I requested, I had a great experience! The tables might not be the cleanest but the food delivers

Great atmosphere. Good cooks and excellent servers. See Racey on third shift for some sarcasm and eggs. Lol, she saves a bad night and makes a good night even better. And if you come in on the weekend mornings, you will be amazed at how good the food and service is… Shout outs to great first shift led by Jocelyn with Mo, Josh, Kyle, Miss Mesha, & Dominique.
This place is is great at any hour. And I love the $ 5 menu deals and never forget the All star breakfast…

Yesterday, I decided to treat my kids. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by all of the employees on staff. We sat down and Jessica and the guys were very friendly and helpful, it was my children’s first time there. The food was great, the staff was friendly, patient, and the establishment was fairly clean. We had absolutely no issues. We actually all had a blast. I will definitely be back.

Not usually a fan of WH but I might have to think differently after visiting this location. We received a very friendly welcome when we walked in the door. The restaurant was spotless. We were promptly served for our drink orders and subsequently for our food order. I ordered poached eggs and was surprised to be asked my level of doneness. I have been to many so called fine dining restaurants that haven’t been able to do poached eggs anywhere as perfectly done here! The rest of the food was cooked equally as well and to order with no mistakes, something that is difficult to find. Would stop here again if I were in the area.

I absolutely love Waffle House. It’s dirty. It has horrendous service. The food is great.
I go in to it expecting poor service. I go into it expecting to sit and wait for someone to take my order.
It is all worth it when I get my All-​American. Cheesy eggs, cheesy hash browns, sausage, toast, and a strawberry waffle. All for a very good price.
Try it today! Just don’t expect 5 star service.

OK, I freakin’ love Waffle House. But there’s give and take with Waffle House (or Affle House, while we were there). Staff was off the charts in mistakes, our food was wrong, and VERY slow to reach us. This location was particularly messy/​dirty when we visited, and I had to force myself to stay put, watch the family eat, while I waited for my second plate of food (post-​mess up). Family had finished by 10 minutes by the time my food was ready. And because I love Waffle House, I squinted so I couldn’t see the layer of sludge in the kitchen and on our table, and managed to put up with our challenged server. I couldn’t bring myself to even wash my hands in the filthy bathroom, and it sure as heck wasn’t trustworthy enough to take my kids into. I’ll be back to Waffle House, but not sure if I’ll be back to this location. Ugh…

Enjoyed the quick delicious breakfast. The staff is very friendly and down to earth!

This is by far the worst Waffle House I have ever been to. It was dirty, chaotic and it took forever. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and 40 minutes to get our food. The food was cold and the hash browns weren’t cooked all the way. I will never go back here again.

I take my son for an impromptu chocolate chip waffle date here on occasion, when he’s being a really good boy. The employees here are always SUPER friendly to him, and they serve us up delicious food. This is my favorite Waffle House in the DFW area, just because of how kind they always are to my three-​year-​old son.

We stopped here for dinner on a road trip. The restaurant was under-​staffed, so service was slow. The waitress was friendly, but had too much to do. While she was checking me out she even got a call from the manager, who asked her to go check on something while she was the only one taking care of multiple tables.
This place was disgustingly dirty. The tables, the bathroom, the kitchen, even the cash register. It looked like it is never cleaned. I felt like it wouldn’t pass a routine health inspection.
The food was mediocre. My pecan waffle wasn’t crispy at all. It was more like a pancake and nothing special flavor-​wise. The food my friends got was also mediocre.
I wish we’d kept on driving a little farther before we stopped to eat.

Gross. I was in the area and decided to stop for breakfast. I had never been to a Waffle House before and gotten a waffle, so I figured today was the day. I regret it. I got a pecan waffle, and a thing of biscuits and sausage gravy. I figure a place called «waffle house» must make waffles better than me, right? Wrong. Mine are SO much better! My pecan waffle was awfully bland. The syrup helped a little, but not enough to make me love it. I was watching people near me eating these waffles, and they completely douse them in syrup. Look at the pictures here — I bet all the waffles are covered in it. I’ve never seen that before until I went here and it kind of disgusted me. Syrup is crazy high in calories and people were putting on so much syrup, I’m sure it was far more calories than the waffle itself. Speaking of calories, they note them on the menu, which is nice, but also innacurate since people douse all their food in syrup. The kicker was the sausage gravy and biscuits. That’s what I always get for breakfast when I go out. It’s my favorite. These were the worst I’ve ever had in my life. The biscuits were some pre-​made stuff that acted like grease-​sponges and soaked up whatever was on that grill. The gravy had very little sausage, or flavor. It was really, really bad. I only had a few bites and just left it there. This place was super busy but it’s hard to see why with food like this. The people working were really friendly — maybe that’s it? Not enough for me. I’ll pass on a waffle house from now on.

After leaving one place due to bad service, we were ready to bail again if given a reason. This waffle house did not disappoint with friendly staff and the decent food that Waffle House is known for. No regrets and will definitely visit again.

Buttermilk waffle is gross, not sure what I was thinking. Hashbrowns, regular waffles typical and tasty. Yes, this place could use a good cleaning like most Waffle Houses. I didn’t find it to be as filthy as the previous Unilocaler and it certainly didn’t smell bad. Sticky sticky sticky, menus were disgustingly sticky. Servers was friendly and entertaining. I don’t see myself being over in this part of Ft. Worth, so I probably won’t go back…

I hadn’t been to a Waffle House in years, this one is very close to where I live and one day I wanted waffles so my husband and I thought we’d try it out. We were only in the place for less than 5 minutes. It was disgusting. Everything looked dirty, nobody was there to tell us if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated, when we did sit down the booth was sticky, and the entire place smelled like excrement. We got up and left. I will never go back, especially to this location.
