Perhaps this review is not quite so far considering it is not an exciting place for me to visit in the fast food world (woooo reubens). But I got the turkey sandwich and potato pancake. They were solid. If I was in a time crunch again, I’d go!

This is the only place that I have been to that has a really good breakfast burrito. I usually get the meal which includes a breakfast burrito, potato cake and a drink for under 6 dollars. They have different options for the burritos but I usually get the turkey burrito with provolone cheese melted in it.
Not too many places around sell breakfast burritos and this place was pretty good

I love Izzys! I especially like to bring my youngest son here. It seems to be one of the few places where he really digs into his food instead of fussing over some cheap toy. I’ve almost got him eating the pickles. Anyway I’ve got several favorites here from salad to the famous Reuben, but today I’m having the Reuben burger! The burgers here are really good… add to that the potato pancakes and that’s some good eating. Oh bring the kids to this location on Saturdays and they eat free…

First time in. Very fast foodish. I guess I expected different. The rueben was suggested and very good. The favors were nice, but I prefer a denser sandwich when it comes to «deli». The potato pancake was interesting. I’ve never had a deep fried one. It was good. Overall a nice stop but not a destination.

The sandwiches are hearty, the latkes are wonderful, the pickles are a joy and the chopped chicken liver is to die for. Yes, yes, I know that most in this area weren’t born loving deli food but thank the stars I wasn’t one of them.
If you are planning to have a holiday party, consider getting your platters from Izzy’s. You don’t have to tell your guests its chopped chicken liver — call it pâté’ and they’ll love it just as much.

I love this place! The sandwiches are good and so are the wraps. My favorite part is the potato pancakes. Wraps come with cole slaw but you can get a pancake if you want. Great place, priced very well, and great service.

It iz what it iz. Izzy’s is the place you go when you are craving corned beef and a potato cake. That said, I went to Izzy’s a few nights ago and I went off course and tried their turkey wrap and potato salad (both quite good). I’m also a fan of the «appetizer» pickles and service is usually quick and friendly.
Not being from the Tri-State area originally, I just tried Izzy’s for the first time about a year ago. Like I said, it’s good — but not something I crave very often. Overall, A-OK.
*I am very intrigued about their breakfast, it looks tasty and I would love to try their goetta breakfast sandwiches.

Classic Cincinnati deli with the modern amenities of a fast-ish food place.
Definitely order a Reuben with a nice greasy potato pancake and this location offers beer and wine. You won’t find that at subway or arby’s.

What’s not to love about corned beef and deep fried potato cakes? I’d love to review some of the healthier items, like the turkey reuben or maybe a salad, but let’s be honest, that’s not why I go to Izzy’s. I go there when I want a reuben and a patato cake. The potato was tasty as you would expect. The reuben was also perfect. The only negatives were the portion size and the fact my patato was just a bit overdone and tough. In all, I will go back, but not too often as it isn’t really a great value. That’s probably a good thing for which my doctor would thank them.
