Wow, I cannot believe I am the first to review Studio Dee Dance. I am completely and utterly amazed. This studio used be located inside of Pleasure Isle off of Madison Pike in Covington, Ky. The studio has since moved to Ft. Wright, Ky off of Highland Ave. It sits in a strip mall to the far side of Wal-Mart, between Jets Pizza and purebarre. I must admit, I was not happy when the hubby moved our children from UC’s dance classes over to Studio Dee. Of course, the free parking was a plus, but I was very concerned the switch because of teaching style, diversity, sitting area, and the ability to watch your children dance. There is a reception area/waiting room for parents and children to wait for their dancers. The waiting consist of 5 chairs and one bench, so typically they run 3 classes with at least 10 children in each. Get there early if you want to avoid sitting on the floor. Luckily, most parents drop off and run errands during class, but those like me who have their children staggered can’t leave. With the cold weather coming upon us, I am interested to see how crowded it will be. All in all, the studio is nice and clean. The staff is pretty nice and helpful. I think if you are interested in a dance studio, which has ballet, tap, hip hop and tumbling, this is your place.
