7-Eleven

Came here with a friend. Corporate office offered rewards program. 7^th cup is free. So I paid for my refill. The guy scanned my 7 eleven app and I got a star! :-) behind me was my friend. He received a free drink on his application. The cashier guy told him that «they don’t give anything for free!» I was surprised with his attitude. They would scan when you buy but they won’t scan anything if you get something for free! I should have told him that America is the land of the free! Lol This happened on February 27 at around 9:44am. I hope the corporate office is reading this.

I don’t usually bother to give reviews unless the customer service is beyond terrible… but guess what, this 7 – 11 just made the cut. I asked if they had a certain product at the store and he answered with an attitude in a near racist response. Everyone has bad days, but show some professionalism and decency as a human being.

When you’re working security and need a pick me up (cup of Joe is good, but makes me pee), this is on my patrol route. I try to lay off the snacks, but usually pick up a couple protein bars from the «health food» section, which is right next to the huge $ 9 Rice Crispy treat sheet.
They also have the other assorted crap you’ll find at any 7 – 11; blue-​blocker sun glasses, various holiday stuff (now with Valentine’s Day approaching, they’re stocking all the themed candy and crap) and Snuggies. I wonder what the field supervisor would say if he saw me on patrol wearing a royal blue Snuggie while driving. I could tell him it’s been in the 40s and the heater in the truck doesn’t work.
Guy that used to work here during my shift was almost a carbon copy of Freddie Mercury, except he was a couple shades darker and his name was Signh. He had some Hindi-​language music blaring from the speakers. New guy is Deep (no joke, that’s his name) and is OK, not real talkative though.
It works, the healthy bars keep me going for the last few hours in my shift and it’s on my route. Solid three stars.

Do not support this 7-​eleven! Horrible customer service experience! I bought some lottery tickets here. I had some winners, so I came in to redeem them. The guy tells me to scratch the tickets all the way next time. Obviously, I had scratched the ticket all the way to find out that I had even won?! Then he points at the bottom of the ticket and tells me the bottom serial numbers need to be scratched out. He then tells me that next time he won’t accept them if the tickets are not scratched out on the bottom. I said, what?! Okay, whatever, I say. One of the tickets does not register because the bar code is faded. So, he tells me that the ticket is not a winner. Obviously the ticket was legit. He then starts to help out the guy behind me. I said, hey can you punch in the numbers on the bar code manually? He shouts out, «NOT MY PROBLEM, IT TAKES TOO LONG, I HAVE OTHER CUSTOMERS!» I see the next guy behind me is redeeming lottery tickets too. REALLY?! I proceed to take my ticket and leave. If it’s such a burden to redeem the tickets, maybe you should not be selling them. I will be SURE that I shop elsewhere next time. I wish I could rate negative stars or even no stars… this place shouldn’t be rated any stars.
