Friendly neighborhood bar. We strolled in this past Saturday and it was Halloween night! haha Everyone was dressed up well. There was a dj playing some jams as we posted up at the bar. one 805 and an IPA beer and the total tab was $ 10.50… score. The bartender was super friendly and made us feel very welcoming even though the bar was at about 70% capacity. The crowd itself consisted of mostly late 20’s to late 30’s which all seemed to be local Huntington beach crowd. Some bro’s but not as much or heavy in the bro-ness as downtown HB. There was also a cool beer pong table which had plenty of room for cups and competition. Pool tables were a bit too close to the bar but cant really help that. I’ll come back again for a quick drink if im looking for something easy and chill.

Tis my favorite dive bar– Cold beer and free pool. The crowd is friendly and will quickly make you feel at home. Everyone says its a locals bar, but thats because once you come in, you wo’nt stop coming here. Everyones your friend. A bit of a «cheers» wibe if you will.

This is a very late posting, but I just recommended Ed’s Stumble Inn to friends and realized that I never wrote a review… If you need a chill place after having fun at Boomers then you should make your way over. It is literally walking distance. This was my first time at the bar and I would go back(so would my friends). The free pool and inexpensive drinks, as well as the location makes for the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening. It is not smoke infested and it is not too small where you are hitting others as you play pool! The service is good and the people are pretty cool! There was a random homeless guy who came into the bar and kind of hung around the entrance where we were playing pool, but then left without a word. We did move our belongings due to the fact that he hung around our table containing our personal belongings and we were by the door… Besides that the atmosphere was welcoming and we had fun!

It’s a great little dive bar. Cheap beer, good music, and free pool tables. Oh ya and darts. Lots of room and the people are always nice. I would say 5 star but there’s no Jack :(guess a girl has to suffer.

This bar has been near and dear to my heart for many many, years. Through several owners and countless staff members. I would like to say that the current owner and the current staff are incredible. I’m loving the direction they’re headed and am proud to have gotten to know them and hope more people get into«The Stumble» to experience that awesome«local bar» feeling. I know I am biased but, if you’re looking for a cold beer, friendly staff, free pool, good sandwiches, darts and a great jukebox, this is the place. Rock on Ed’s Stumble Inn!!!

It is what it is there. I have been going there periodically since it was the Frolic and not much has changed. It’s a good local bar with pool, darts, and cold beer. The new owner is in there most of the time and is very friendly as well as the majority of the patrons. Definitely would recommend for low key local bar environment.

I come here to play in pool tournament. I have a great time. The people here are very friendly and the owner is here and cooks free hot dogs for everyone. The also go on a bike run at least once a month. I am going to try to go with them one Saturday.

I’m not sure what I can say about this place that haven’t already been said. I like the simplicity of the place and would probably like it more if I played pool. On a related note, pay attention to the guys who walk in with their own cues in cute little tubes slung over their shoulder… if your experience is like mine, you will find that those guys almost always play worse than anyone else in the room. A lot of the regulars holler at each other and the TV sports, which makes the vibe more aggressive than relaxing, but it could be a lot worse considering how wasted many of the customers always seem to be. The beer is super cold and the daily pint specials are hard to beat.

The Bar: Located in the southwest corner of a shopping center on Warner Ave. & Magnolia Ave. It is way back there so look hard for it. The sign for the bar is merely a banner attached to the roof. There is a neon sign that says«open» that you can see from anywhere in the parking lot. On the outside, there are a lot of pictures and newspaper clipping from the prohibition era. There is a TV outside, so that you can keep an eye on the game while you have a smoke. Inside, to the left are 6 electronic dart boards, to the right, a boxing game, which personally, i think it’s a bad idea amongst drunk people, but whatever. Straight ahead, you’ll find 2 pool tables, along with the bar. The Crowd: Crowd was good tonight. Not terribly busy, which made it easy to maneuver around the inside. Most everyone was focused on a game or some sort, either darts or pool. Service: Our beer-tender this evening was Dee. Service was excellent, and she was open to questions about the bar. Prices: $ 10.75 domestic pitchers, $ 8.75 during happy hour. Import pitchers run you anywhere from $ 11.75-$ 17.75, which seems a little ridiculous. $ 3.75 Coors Light bottles, and even though this a beer & wine only bar, they do have(low percentage) $ 1 Jello shots. Entertainment: Touch Tunes jukebox, 6 electronic dart boards, 2 pool tables, 1 boxing game, 1 golf game. Restroom: Mens, Less then fabulous, Womens, was told, it was clean, was also told that I must mention there is a full length mirror inside. Bartender Chat: Dee was cool, we chatted for a minute about prices, ect. Closing statement: Not my first time in, certainly not my last. Had a good time, with good people. Plan to be back on April 6th, 2013 for the Stumble Inn Poker Run.

What can you say about a dive bar except for that there are always great people here and GREAT service(Vicky!!). Free pool. Only downside is that it is beer and wine only :(

Your typical beer/wine dive bar. Been here about a half dozen times. The clientele is a hodge-podge crew. Young and old, loud and quiet, but mostly cool! It’s like: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, with pool tables… and Dart Boards!

I went in late at night around 10 or 11. Since I was the DD I had stopped by for some coffee. I walked in and the bar lady walked up to me & said no outside drinks. I told her I’m the DD but she didn’t care. Most bars would allow u to or treat u to free drinks if ur DD. Not this one. Other then that, it looked like crap & had a weird mix of people
