On Monday me and my wife went to for dinner. Lovely lady took us right by the door which is not comfortable to sit there. I requested to move us somewhere else. First they were friendly. We ordered steak and salmon. Waited for couple minutes to bring us more water because the food was very salty but I was hungry I can’t wait for another 10 mins to remake it. I told the manager that food is very salty but he just ignored me. After he picked up all dishes he replied me back«maybe the gravy was salty». If you knew it then why did you served it. I wasn’t asking for discount but I will never go again.

So it does take time to be seated, I don’t believe they have a designated host/hostess. I see the manager or the to-go servers usually tAking on the role of host. But my service has always been pleasant when dining in. I order to-go more often than I dine in and the to-go Guy is just awesome. I forget his name but he always calls me miss Megan and usually is the one that answers the phone. He always is such a breathe of fresh air and so kind and always gets my order on point. Tip him well if you get him! & Make sure you try the corn chowder! It’s my faveee

Always know the food is good at Mimis. Sevice not always the best but it happens. I like the homey feel to their restaurants.

OMG. We arrived at 1:30 for a post baptism celebration. Seated at 2:00. First off the coffee was cold. At 3:00 some in my party are served. At 3:30 I get my meal, a bacon and cheese omelet, and there is paper in my omelet. WTF? I will never eat at a Mimi’s again in my life. The manager came out five minutes after I requested to see the manager and he just said«oh it’s just the cheese paper». Unbelievable. Such a poor experience, my guess this place will fail in the long run. Stay away. Go elsewhere. A day to remember will now be about a screwed up meal.

no one at the front reception to greet you and took some time for us to get seated. also the window sills were coated with dust, lint, small insects. they seriously need to clean the sills especially around your eating area. food was so, so… think twice before coming here.

I like Mimi’s ! Whenever I fell like some good soothing food I go here. I will say almost 80% of the food I ordered I like them and tasted good. It’s been 5 years since my very first visit, will continue to(maybe not the Anaheim location, no parking and you valet ?! No thanks). Love the hot chocolate and carrot raisins bread !

Mimi’s what happened? It has been years since I’ve been to a Mimi’s café. I used to really like Mimi’s. Food quality has gone way downhill. I had a B1G1 coupon so I came with my son last week. French onion soup which used to be so great here was just ok. The sandwich I ordered was gross(turkey reuben) fries were limp and bland. My son’s frisco burger just fair to not good. really disappointing. Will not be back. I will say that our server was very friendly and attentive and seemed to be aware of the lack of quality without actually saying it.

Back in the day, Mimi’s was(kind of) a «go to» place for breakfast. Always had a pleasant experience here, but sorry… no longer. I was wondering why they are giving a BOGO dinner option that’s blasted all over Facebook, so I thought I’d give it another try. Also, SMH when I looked for the nearest location… come to find out that a lot of the Mimi’s are no longer standing. Unfortunately, the service has also gone down. From what I can see, it’s not necessarily our server’s fault, but he had on two hats. I could see that he was responsible for our table along with a few others AND he was the bartender for the entire restaurant. Odd, that the bartender was also a server, too. Cutting corners maybe? We asked a gal who was passing by for a bread basket and instead of getting one for us, she told our server, who, of course, was busy, so ~15 min later, we had a bread basket, which, I remember being a LOT better before. All the food came out very slowly and unfortunately, nothing was good enough to write home about. OK, the salad dressing on the bagged lettuce(just lettuce, for an extra $ 2.50) was delicious and the mini carrot muffin in our bread basket was tasty. … but our entrees were ugh. Especially the New York steak that was highly advertised on the menu and ads. TOUGHTOUGHTOUGH. … almost inedible. Pick another type of steak to offer. New York is not a good cut to begin with. It’s too dry. I didn’t want to send it back, cuz it creeps me out to think of the stories you hear about sending food back, so I never do. Two other gals came to our table, Not quite sure what their exact jobs were, but one brought us our food and the other gal offered to put ground pepper on the salad.(the grinder needed refilling, clearly no ground pepper was coming out) … Both, never to be seen again. So, we presented the BOGO offer at the get go, but when our bill came, I had to remind our server to take the discount off. He told me that the coupon I gave him was expired. Not mentioning this to me at all, until I asked… he asked to see the coupon again, which clearly stated that it expired on 3⁄23.(today is 3⁄17). OK, maybe he was busy for one person, but just to charge me regular price(and say nothing) when the only draw for me to come here was the BOGO? K, I’m done. Sorry Mimi’s … sad to see you go, but you’re going down.

I loveeeeee the bacon blue cheese salad. Came here just for that even though I can’t have the blue cheese at the moment. I sub the blue cheese with American cheese and it was still great!

I haven’t been to a Mimi’s in a very long time. We decided to come here for breakfast to check out their offerings, etc. Service was great and the food was decent as well. We shared the smoked salmon omelette which was good. I’m just not a fan of smoked salmon anymore, though. The pumpkin muffin was large with not a whole lot of flavor, however. I scanned the rest of the menu and found several dishes that interested me. I will most likely come here again to «give it another go».

Always good meal here, you can always count on it. Salads are always good, discounts are always helpful, staff is always friendly. They Meyer lemon mussels are truly fabulous, I think it’s my favorite dish on the whole menu except for the sweets of course. Wasn’t too happy when the server said out loud uuuggghh I already filled those sugars so I took it upon myself to move to another station. Other than that is was a pleasant outing. I got up and then she apologized and tried to say that want for you. Not cool at all. This is the reason for the four stars. Thoughts on this one former hospitality staff? Back to positive again the nice thing about this location is that you can always get a seat and many local organizations use their banquet room to have their meetings. So they like giving back to the community.

Always happy with Mimi’s. The menu never seems to change, which may bother frequent visitors, but I usually only go every few months so it doesn’t impact me that much. Not the best place for a healthy meal. I felt limited to one item: egg white omelette with veggies. It comes with a side of fruit instead of the potatoes. Normally it doesn’t fill me up so I order a low-fat blueberry muffin which goes very well with a cup of coffee. The other muffins are so delish but super greasy and loaded with fat and sugar. The blueberry is not too sweet and super fluffy! One is plenty to share between two people, or you can save it later for a nice snack! This location was super easy to find and there was plenty of parking. So no worries there. I actually may visit this location again as it is quite close to work.

My Dad and I ate here this morning. He had eggs Benedict. It was cooked perfectly. Our service was great and the very reason I am giving Mimi’s 5 stars. Maria was fantastic!!! We eat here about once a month and for now on we will be requesting to sit in her station.

Yeah, yeah. I know what you’re thinking. Just another chain restaurant/diner. I’ve been to other Mimi cafes numerous times, and each time everything was average or slightly above. However, things have really turned around here. I had the Cobb Salad, and it was the best one I have ever had. All the ingredients were in the perfect proportion, and it was perfectly mixed to where I had egg, bacon, and cheese in every bite. My wife had the lemon poppy waffle. It was so decadent with the strawberry butter, it was like a dessert. Delicious. On top of this, I had probably the best blueberry muffin I’ve had in a long time with my salad. The service was top-notch, as well. Give Mimi’s Café a try. Corporate and management have been working hard to turn this place around, and I think they are doing a great job. We will be adding this our list of regular spots we eat at, for sure.

My parents love Mimi’s Café, so I grew up coming here a lot, but I definitely do think it attracts more of the older crowd. I see a lot of grandmas and gramps whenever I go FOOD l 3: — bread basket l 5: their complimentary carrot bread slices were always a family favorite but it doesn’t seem as if they serve them anymore — carrot muffin bread basket thing l 2: their new complimentary basket, which you have to ask for, isn’t as amazing as their old bread baskets, and always comes out room temperature — hickory smoked ham crêpe 10.99 l 3 — French onion soup l 5: always love the french onion soup here. — Grilled Atlantic salmon and spinach l 3.5: the sauce the salmon was sitting on was creamy and buttery. Unfortunately, the bottom side of the salmon was burnt, but other that, the salmon was juicy. Potatoes were alright. — grilled salmon and Fritas l 2: unfortunately the fries were soggy and not good at all. Only a small corner of my salmon was undercooked, but the rest of the salmon was cooked perfectly – not dry and overcooked. The sauce was lemony and buttery and more wary than the grilled Atlantic salmon and spinach. SERVICE l 3: Service can be a hit or miss. I had to ask multiple times for requests sometimes and sometimes, they’re extremely attentive, like Andres was. PROS — great about splitting your meals for you if you’re sharing CONS — hit or miss service — can’t substitute. unless you pay more TIPS — bring coupons! Especially the BOGO free entrée. Worth the price if you bring a coupon in VERDICT: I don’t crave anything here, but won’t mind coming here if my parents want to go

What a waste of time. Mister and I have been here before. I’ve been coming here on and off over the years of living in FV(20+ years). We were seated and given menus. A non-Asian couple was seated behind us. Their order was taken and drinks were served. My menus were stacked and pushed towards the end of the table. I gave eye contact to multiple servers. Not a single person came by to take our order. This has happened to me twice here now. I’m tempted to pull to pull the race card here. The manager almost seemed surprised that I spoke English! Never ever again. I guess you’ll only get service if you have blond hair and blue eyes.

The food isn’t bad, I actually really enjoy it. The service isn’t bad either; however, there have been some changes since I’ve last been here. We arrived around 1PM and the hostess asked us if we wanted lunch or breakfast. I asked, «You’re still serving your breakfast menu?» She said, «Absolutely!» When we went to order I asked for the waffles and was told waffles are not served after 12PM. I can understand that; however, the hostess should have informed me of this when I inquired about breakfast. Then we asked for a bread basket today and we were told by our server that they no longer offer complimentary bread baskets. The menus and the décor are definitely nicer than it used to be. Except there was an giant hole in our booth. All in all, this wasn’t the best experience, but certainly not the worst.
