Amazing! I would give this place 100 stars if I could. You are not going to find a better flavored chicken kabob in Orange County. The meat was grilled to perfection and was extremely juicy and flavorful. The portion amount was also very generous. Most kabob places you go too you pay the same price or more and you get half the amount. Glad I found this place. I will definitely be using this place for my next catering event!

Don’t order the rotisserie chicken. I’m pretty sure they buy the $ 4.99 chicken from Sam’s club across he street and then reheat it for you so it’s extra dry. Rice and garlic sauce is good, probably because they make it in house.

We went to this place for the dinner buffet tonight and it turned out to be a big disappointment. According to other reviews it seems like their chicken and pizza are good but the buffet is just horrible. Only good thing was their hummus. Food was not fresh at all and for the dessert we have to pay separately. You really can’t find the authentic Mediterranean flavor in their buffet menu items. I have been to many mediterranean buffets and this place was just a waste of money. I won’t return to this place ever again. But i have to say, the family that owns this place is very friendly.

Been coming here since college! They make one of he best meat pies(lahmbajeen) I have ever had. Crispy and delicious! I had their home-style cooking buffet a few times as well, very nice couple owns the place and they’re always pleasant and welcoming

Very nice mom and pop restaurant. Walked in and were greeting by the lady owner, i assume. She was really friendly. We had a large group(15 people) and she offered to put tables for us to sit together, but we didn’t want to be a bother so we split up into two groups. Chose the all day weekend buffet option. As we were going down the buffet line, she asked us if we also would like pizza… YES! She then went ahead and pulled out the ingredients and started to make them! In addition, they also quickly cooked and«refilled» some dishes to the buffet area for our group(15 people). Food was definitely piping hot since i could see the smoke coming off the food as her husband was refiling the buffet trays. I am not very familiar with the mediterranean dishes but i tried mostly everything besides the soups and it was really good! From the dishes i did recognize, the chicken(kabob and rotisserie) had awesome flavor. The lamb was falling off the bone as was the rotisserie chicken. I also tried the eggplant, sweet potato, hummus and pita bread… so good that i went back for seconds.

This place has an all you can eat Mediterranean food. And it’s so delicious especially the chicken, it’s so tender and juicy. There is also rice soup not sure what it’s called. It’s delicious a little on the salty side. There is also lamb with tomato sauce. It’s good and super tasty and flavorful. And the hummus is very good too. It’s a mom and pop shop next to Taco Bell. It’s a little outdated but clean. The owners are super nice and welcoming. Love coming here

Good food, but it is NOT beneath the owner to add extra charges to the bill! Check your receipt! And it was NOTDONEINERROR. Bad and unethical business! I don’t mind tipping at all but if they are trying to pull a fast one on customers… F that!

If you want to feel like you’re sitting at a good friend’s house to eat some mean home-cooked food, Moonlight is perfect. It’s such an affordable meal, and the fact that it’s an AYCE buffet makes it possible to keep putting your favorite entrees onto your plate. Even their pizza says yummy homemade food. They have a couple of delicious meat staples(all super tender), a lot of tasty veggies, pizza, and pita bread to fill you up. The server is always kind. My favorites are their eggplant, stewed beef, and super addicting dolmas.

Mom and Pop operations with delicious food. A hidden spot only known by locals by word of mouth. The do offer just Pizza and chicken, which is excellent too. Best time is during the weekday luncheon, best value! This is a Lebanese buffet restaurant with pizza and chicken too! The front of the business is deceiving but once inside they offer Lebanese stews, chicken soup, stuff grape leaves, lamb and an assortment of veggies, beans and rice. The parking is limited and no one really to bus your plates so be prepared to stack your dishes.

**This review is only for take out** Moonlight restaurant has great deals especially if you are on a budget. They have this whole rotisserie chicken that is super juicy and tender for only $ 10. The chicken is BIG, and it comes with Armenian rice(buttery goodness), pita bread, garlic butter(ask for another one for $.25) and pickles. If you get half a chicken, which in my opinion is still a very good amount, it is only $ 5 something! And you get the rice etc too. I’ve only had the chicken and their lahmajoun. You get 6 for $ 6 – 7 I believe. Pretty good for snacking too. I know they have a buffet for L and D too and I remember the prices being very fair. Now… the inside is kind of outdated and all but that doesn’t bother me. Very sweet Armenian family running this place. Try the baklava, the wife makes it fresh!

A moms and pops place, such a hidden gem for some mediterrean food! The chicken kebab was soft and tender, pizza better than costco or little ceasars. Rice was good with the stew. There are beers on tap too! Lunch is from 10 – 38.99 and 4-close 10.99 $. Across from sams club fountain valley. This restaurant has been here for a long time and its now one of my favorite. Must try!

I’ve never used the banquet room, but I’ve stopped by the buffet a few times. Service is a bit lacking, but I expect it at these types of businesses, so I tend to avoid anything specific on the menu when I dine in. They cook the food frequently in small portions, so it’s always hot & fresh; that has been the case literally every time I’ve been here, so anything stating otherwise is inaccurate. The buffet consists of a hot & cold plate set of servings. Hot plates: Chicken kebab, kefta kebab, rice, lentils, stewed beef, lamb shank, some amazing eggplant, & beef pepperoni pizza. Cold Plates: Various pickles, tabbouleh, salad, a few assorted fruits, beans, cucumber yogurt, onions, jalapenos, & a few other items that cycle every time. Takeout: In excess of the buffet, I’ve tried their takeout special for my kid brothers. It includes a good sized large pizza w/beef pepperoni, a rotisserie chicken, garlic paste/sauce, & a salad.

Sick of hamburgers and French fries? Try Moonlight Pizza at Warner and Brookhurst in Fountain Valley. Great all you can eat Armenian buffet. Every dish(served on china-no paper plates or cardboard boxes here) homemade and fresh. Armenian Pizza is called Lahmajoon and unless you want to drive to Glendale this is the place to get Momma’s Armenian lahmajoon, sarma, lula kebab, lamb stew, madzoon(plain yogurt) with diced cucumbers and fresh dill, and pilaf. This comes a close second to my Armenian Mother’s cooking and although the interior of this restaurant is pretty darn basic you’ll leave full to the top! Thanks for reading. Matthew Y.

The pictures on Unilocal were enough to convince us to enjoy the buffet, we came for the lunch buffet and it was horrible, it came out to $ 15 bucks per person and the food was found wanting for the lack of a better term. Couple of pieces of Chicken kebob, the beef kafta was swimming in prego sauce, the only thing that was inviting was the little caesars pizza and the sliced watermelon. Not the goods, not for 15 dollars, no way!

I was excited to try out their dinner buffet. The interior décor was pretty unimpressive. Not a very good first impression. It looked like this place haven’t been renovated in decades. The only persons that would appreciate are those who grew up eating here decades ago… The word«buffet» is stretching it here. 2 small buffet carts is all of the selection you can pick. Salad was decent but was pretty limited in selection. The hot section had different vegetarian looking stews, beans, roasted chicken pieces and chicken kabob chunks. Where’s the beef? There was only one pizza out. Pepperoni. It was very disappointing Tasted like pizza from Hometown buffet. The hummus was good and surprisingly, my favorite item here was the grape leaves stuffed with rice. It was rich and tangy. The workers and owner were super duper nice. I really wanted to like this place but most of the food here didn’t favor my palate. Sorry but won’t be back.

I unexpectedly turned up(pun intended) at Moonlight Pizza when I was looking for a wholesome dinner on a Wednesday night. I’ve had Moonlight in the back of my mind as one of the food destinations on my list to try but never got around to it until tonight. I showed up close to closing time so the selection was a little bit sparse. The owner accommodated me however(without me asking her to) by providing me with fresh grilled chicken kabobs(?). Those were amazing! I didn’t really get to try their pizza, but judging by the quality of everything else they served at the buffet, I probably won’t be disappointed. Alright, I had a cold slice of pepperoni — still good quality although that heat lamp could use some work. The family who runs the place was great and answered my questions about their selection for the night. I even received a complimentary baklava, sweet! Interesting fact: I happened to be seated at the table in front of the TV, where I was watching the Ducks vs. Winnepeg series when Kester delivered the KO with the rebound goal! This really means nothing to me(because I don’t even watch hockey) but it means something to some of you so that’s cool 8)

I’ve been here twice and I can say I would frequent this place if it were closer to me because it is such great value. First, the buffet. Not too pricey and depending on the day, has a very nice spread of Mediterrenean food available. They’ll even have a lamb dish out. Their chicken and pizza special is also great. For $ 20 you get a large one-topping pizza, whole chicken, pilaf, pita, and pickled radishes. It’s enough to feed four people. Excellent deal. The chicken was moist and tender. The pizza dough was nice a chewy(if you like that) and the sauce is a bit on the sweet side. So, great value. Check it out. Cheers!
