Prime Steakhouse

This hotel now opened a brand new restaurant with a view of the lake and it’s certainly worth a try. Now my mistake was going for salmon which was OK but not that great. All the patrons around me ordered steaks and that’s probably the better choice, so that will be my choice next time and that may bump up my rating.
The setting: a nice bar in the middle of the restaurant, 2 different spacious rooms for dining, one being preferred with the view of the lake. The service: attentive and perfect. The food: the side salad was fresh and appetizing, the pretzel roll was piping hot and outstanding, the salmon special of the night was just OK, the mashed potatoes were outstanding, the apple pie and ice cream just like your mom would serve you.
So yes, nice place worth going to for a nice dinner, but probably order a meat entrée (this is Wisconsin after all).
