Another great meal and dining experience. It’s so hard to chose between the steak, prime rib, ribs or shrimp. Can’t beat the Friday fish fry and Monday 1 lb peel and eat shrimp. Great drinks, amazing view and fun loving people. A true gem in a culinary desert.

We were told a 15 minute wait. Took 40 minutes to even see a menu, hour 20 to order. 20 minutes after we ordered we were told they were out of prime rib. Very disappointing seeing as it was our 4 year anniversary. I left with a crying woman and went to the reliable Boathouse. I would not recommend the shores. Pay a premium for normal food and poor service. Will not go back again.

Great Food, Strong Drinks, Friendly Staff. Came to the Shores on Monday night May 12^th, 2014 for dinner. Was up in Fox Lake with my brother, — we were helping get our fathers lake cottage ready for the Summer. We’ve always gone to this restaurant over the years, before when it was Twin Shores, the food was amazing. Now it’s still good as I ordered a Shores Burger (large size burger, cooked perfect medium rare with Cheddar Cheese and Fried Onion Strings on top), — one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very longtime. I noticed the original owner Kevin was back behind the bar, so I have a feeling the old magic is back at this place. Plus I hear their outdoor bar, the Drunken Clam (taken name from the Family Guy), will be open starting Memorial Day weekend. We WILL be back here over the Summer, — great food and times at the Shores…

I came here last night for dinner with a group from work celebrating a coworkers birthday. The drive down to the shores is very nice, passing through a town that reminds me of New England right on the water.
The views from the front of the restaurant are great, unfortunately the inside does not live up to the view.
First, we were told by the hostess which table to sit at and not shown to the table just «Your party is at table 19 last table on the left»
Next the waitress wasn’t the best or had the best attitude, it left a sour taste in a few of our mouths. It seemed like she was flustered and wanted us in and out.
The bread brought out by our server was cold and the butter packets were already sitting on the table.
The food sounds good, but lacked in overall seasoning.
