I recently moved to Foxboro and was looking for a place for breakfast. This restaurant does lunch also. The food is fantastic!!! It is so fresh and so good! The portion sizes are large so take you’re appetite with you. I have been there a few times and have not been disappointed. I really, really love this place! The people that work there are so friendly. I just cannot say enough about this place!

Nice, friendly breakfast place with standard fare. Eggs, toast, bagels, pancakes, all good. Tried the steaktips and eggs my second time around and it was inedible. Service was great, but the food was just OK, not amazing. If you’re here for an event at Gillette, worth it. If you’re a local, I’d probably find another«go-to».

Born and raised in Foxboro, I have been coming here since I was a baby. I’ve always loved the food. The dining area is always spotless and beautiful.(I love the renovations by the way) …Now the staff. Let’s take a second to recognize these amazing humans. They are always so friendly, have a smile on their face and 100% on top of their game. Never missing a refill or anything. I always recommend The Commons as a great breakfast/brunch location to anyone from friends, family, or even complete strangers coming from all over to go to Patriots Place or what not. Keep it up :)

Kid friendly?!? My Aunt Fanny. They own highchairs, but won’t let you use them because it’s a fire hazard??? Ridiculous. Why even own the highchairs? What breakfast place doesn’t let you use highchairs!?! Flabbergasted customer.

They chop potatoes into about 6 pieces and call them home fries. No taste to them either

Visiting my sister last weekend for camping nearby and I always love a good breakfast! We did a search for a place with waffles and this was very close by. It was Sunday, late morning, and there were a lot of people waiting as we entered. We put our names in and were given a 20 min wait time, which we thought reasonable and decided to wait. We were very pleased we did. It is a quaint place… clean with a nice bright ambiance. I opted for a belgian waffle… The Patriot… which is served with fresh blueberries, strawberries and whipped cream and I also ordered a side of corned beef hash. My sister had the french toast. It was all delicious and served promptly by a courteous server. My waffle was great and the corned beef hash blew my mind! I was worried when it arrived because it wasn’t as crispy as I expected, but the great thing was it was homemade and very hot when served… delicious! My sister claims the french toast was«up there with the best». She also raved about the coffee. Unfortunately, i ordered iced tea and it was tasteless. We decided to return for breakfast the next day and were seated after a short few minutes. This time I ordered a traditional eggs/toast/homefries with the side of corned beef hash again. The hash was even better because it was slightly more browned and the eggs and toast were good, if standard fare. Where it fell flat was the homefries. They looked good, but didn’t taste good. They were under-cooked large chunks with no flavor except maybe that they came from a can? The homefries need work, but all in all, I liked the place and will return when I am back in the area.

Stumbled upon this little gem on accident… glad we did! Even though it was Sunday and they were really busy, we were greeted in a very friendly manner and seated under 15 minutes. All staff were courteous, quick and friendly. Food arrived in about 10 minutes! Very reasonable prices and all food was delicious!

Excellent service — hostess and waitress were extremely friendly. The food was excellent and tasted like they took their time to ensure high quality. And yet, the food came out pretty quickly. Great atmosphere. This will be my go-to breakfast spot.

My sister and I went here after a dentist appointment. The place was very cute on the inside and outside except the bathroom doors didn’t have locks. The food there was only okay. My sister had the spinach pie and thought it was gross and I did too, but then again, we don’t eat fried food much. I had a chicken salad club. It was okay. Just basic food and nothing spectacular. I probably would come here only once in a while. The waitress was really nice also

Wherever I go, I look for a cozy, local breakfast joint. This place fits the bill. Ever since I moved to Foxboro, this has become my go to breakfast place! The coffee cake French toast is something I could eat every day, and the rest of their food is equally amazing. The food comes out fast, the servers are friendly. Can’t recommend it enough!

Well. It is a neighborhood eatery. And it did seem pretty common(place). I don’t know that I’d come here again, but we were on the prowl for a brunch place pre-Patriots Place, and this popped up in the search. It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t awesome, either. First star dinged because they told us that there would be a 10 minute wait, so could we please come back. They didn’t take down our phone number or anything, so when we traipsed in after a quick stroll around the area(probably less than 10 minutes, tbh), and we were told that they had given away our seats, I was a bit less than thrilled. But no matter, we took a seat at the«counter,» which was really more like a floating island… whatevs. The food wasn’t spectacular, and the service was on the slow side. The only plus was that it wasn’t super pricey… but I think next time we’ll do brunch before heading down. Better pricey than dicey!

Had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. Had the Eggs Benedict. I’ve had Eggs Benedict all over the country and never had it with a slice of Virginia Baked Ham. The topper was that the ham is done in-house and is excellent. Service was friendly and made us feel right at home. I love it when the owner is engaged and we got invited back. That’s classy.

Ended up here because I needed to run an errand locally at a bank. I had the«Make Your Own» Breakfast Burrito. I was thrilled with my choice. The taste was great and it was cooked wonderfully. I was not so happy with the homefries, didn’t feel cooked all the way through at all. My boyfriend got an omelette and he was not so thrilled with it. It was not very fluffy and the ham inside was not very well cooked. Also he ordered some toast, and it had a lot of butter on it, but that just may be personal preference. Maybe serve it with butter instead of putting in on for the customers? The service was quick and not to clingy, which was a plus. Maybe the potato game needs to be stepped up a bit and I would give«4» stars, but the omelette was sad and needs to be fixed too! All around decent breakfast though.

This place is amazing! I’ve been coming back three days in a row and can’t get enough! My only complaint is, I’m leaving Foxboro today abs this will be my last breakfast. The food is really good and the service is superior!

Great breakfast. Fresh fruit, large portions and friendly service. Had an egg white veggie omelet and it was great, fresh fruit in the side was a great change from the normal fruit in syrup that you get everywhere else. Coffee was always full. A major plus, as some places just don’t get that! Will certainly be back!

I was in town for the weekend and was looking for a place for some breakfast. If found this place on Unilocal, and it had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. From the outside it looked really cute and the inside was clean. The place was already busy with the morning crowd. I sat at the counter and ordered a cup of coffee along with two eggs over medium, corned beef hash, home fries and a piece of «thick» cinnamon French toast. When my food arrived, the first thing I noticed was several greasy finger print all alone along the edge of my plate, then it went downhill from there… The home fries weren’t freshly made, if looked like old baked potatoes that were cut up and fried, and they were burnt and unappetizing. The corned beef hash looked like they just opened up a can of corned beef hash and just warmed it through. I ordered two eggs over med with the whites set and that was the only thing that was cooked perfectly. As for the French toast it was unappealing. Disappointing breakfast, unappealing and unappetizing… The finger prints on the plate was so disgusting… Please see the photos that I have posted. Service was quick, the waitress was polite, but the food I give it a one star.

The service is annoying, sloppy and confused, but quick. I’m one of those people who hates being asked«how I’m doing» while I’m trying to chew and swallow my meal… and this place is a nightmare for that. The pancakes are… well… you’ve been warned. Floury, mix-y and lacking in the legitimate pancake flavor we all love and want. The syrup: gooey and pretty much gross, and don’t expect to get an alternative… that’s right, this is a breakfast eatery that doesn’t offer Maple Syrup… in New England!!! And if you order a breakfast burrito, don’t expect sour cream or hot sauce… because they don’t have it. No steak and eggs, either. The coffee is tasty and fine, but it’s the atmosphere and layout that for some reason has me wanting to come back frequently. Just a decent-to-mediocre joint. …meh
