A year ago, following my last appointment, Dr. O’Shea scheduled my yearly eye exam. One year later and after having confirmed my appointment online, I show up for routine yearly eye exam. After waiting for 15 minutes, one of the optical techs asks if I was there for an appointment to which I answer says. Then goes on to explain if I did it online the service is not working etc… Well, I did not do it online, I did it in person with the Dr. herself who scheduled my eye exam and there was no one present to administer my exam. I would not recommend EZ Eyecare to anyone!

After putting off an eye exam for years I finally took a chance on Dr. O’Shea. I found her to very polite, professional, and offered me simple advice coupled with empathy and understanding and willingness to listen and spend the time to make sure my eye exam was thorough. I did order my glasses from her, but have yet to pick them up. Although wanted to rate my experience with her.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Dr. O’Shea. I ripped my contact while away from MA and called hoping she would fax my prescription to a doctor in the area so that I could get an emergency pair. Apparently they don’t keep copies of the prescriptions they write. I called two different numbers and emailed her — I have probably called 10 times. Two days later, still no prescription. Her secretary finally called me and said«sorry — I know it’s been two days, but apparently she doesn’t think this is very urgent.» UPDATE — Dr. O’Shea keeps calling me asking to remove this Unilocal post, but I stand by my statement — she ruined my vacation. Also, I find it extremely unprofessional to call someone 3x regarding a Unilocal review. Especially when, if she had taken 5 minutes to fax my prescription, I wouldn’t have written this review in the first place.
