I came her with my friends for late night drinks. The bar area is on the small side but functional. They had a great variety of late night drinks and snacks. I ordered the Caribbean coconut martini which was out of this world. They also had a cool machine that you pay for the music you want. The only downside to this place was that there was only one bartender and i felt really bad for the lady by herself. She did an amazing job though!

This is Probably my favorite bar in Franklin square. Such good staff… Nangi and Bobby the bartenders are awesome. This place is really a go to place with friends … The food is Unbelievable, the burgers are my all time favorite. Along with the boneless chicken wings… Kitchen is open till 4am. Big plus…

Got the $ 4.95 special. Yes this plate was $ 4.95. ½ pound Angus Chargrilled. I love finding cheap eats that are amazeballs quality. It’s only on Wednesdays though. The rest of the menu is super awesome as well. Great décor, great options, great times with great people.

Always heard people talk about this place
So I decided to check it out and I’m glad that I did! Food was delicious! We got a little pizza appetizer to start and it was so yummy. Got a chicken avocado wrap for my entrée and I seriously loved it. Prices aren’t bad especially considering how large the portions are. Service was a little slow considering the place wasn’t too busy but other than that it was great! Will be returning soon.

Great place! Bobby the bartender kills it! Amazing service and good vibes. Never disappointed when I come here. My friends and I have made nothing but good memories at «pals!!!» Always a go to spot when we need a few brews

Also ordered food for pick up and it was a sizable order on Valentine’s Day and the food was ready when I got there and there was plenty of food to go around with leftovers

Shocked to see their are any bad reviews for this place. I have been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed! Bobbie the bartender is phenomenal and you couldn’t ask for better service, she is honest, hardworking and will do anything to make sure you enjoy your food/​drinks! So whoever is writing these bad reviews are definitely out of their minds. Palominos gets 5 stars from Lexie!

Annie was my bartender and She made sure I had a top notch drink and helped me order my meal in which was ridiculously awesome. The atmosphere and service were all in all. Outstanding. See you guys again soon !

Food was as-​good-​as-​usual… Can’t go wrong with the 1 pound burger. Unfortunately, the Guinness was definitely skunk (I guess it doesn’t move that well, but my mistake ordering it in an Italian Restaurant).

Amazing lobster feast! Bobby was great at the bar super friendly and all of us had a wonderful time. Their food is always top notch! Great night!

My first time here. Hot chicken wings were very good. Roast beef dip sandwich was pretty good too. There was something missing in the angus steak sandwich but it wasn’t bad. Onion rings were super greasy. Steak fries and sweet potato fries both were undercooked and greasy — I threw them out. Not really sure I’d go back.

First, to all looking for fresh prepared delicious meals while you sip on a glass of wine or a beer in Franklin Square try THROTTERS… Formerly known as Shackeltons. Both the food and their customer service are AMAZING. And oddly enough it is on the same stretch as this poorly managed establishment.
Bobby C, I appreciate your response since all it does is further reiterate my point on how absolutely terrible Palomino’s food and customer service truly is.
I post a review about waiting more than an hour at 2AM for food from an establishment that advertises a late kitchen, no one to tend to me while I’m in the establishment because the 1 of 2 waitresses complain that they’re busy in the bar since its only two of them; Furthermore, all you can do is exercise a poor attempt to insult me, telling me I should go to McDonalds since I’m hungry at 2AM, can’t wait to eat, its fast food and cheaper. Comical indeed.
How you improve your establishment’s customer service and food is not by daggar throwing, but rather by entertaining constructive criticism.
If it takes 1hr to make 1 dish then this establishment should be closed.

Stopped by after a movie with two girlfriends on a Friday night. It was a little confusing walking in because no one greeted us, we sort of wandered into the back restaurant area since there were no seats available in the front. After standing around awkwardly, we were seated. The front is a bar area, the music was good. Our waitress was friendly, but noticeably became a little frustrated because we were indecisive — okay in our defense there were so many burgers to choose from!
I ordered the grilled cheese burger, it was gigantic, unique and tasty. It was really huge though and I ended up eating one of the grilled cheese sandwiches separately. We also ordered sweet potato fries that were terribly undercooked. I planned on mentioning that to the waitress but she didn’t return after dropping it off until it was time for the check. We didn’t need to order drinks because there was a beer promo going on that night, and though I forgot the name it was actually really good!
Overall I wouldn’t write this place off although I think service was lacking. The food was good, and I liked the bar area.

Came in late night, ordered a few drinks so this review is purely for the bar.
Drinks were just meh, and there was a nauseating smell permeating throughout the restaurant. It was a bit late in the evening (past 1am) so perhaps it was the cleaning crew? Bit of advice… if customers are still in your establishment, keep the cleaning till after you’ve cleared the place. There were at least 10 other people there still.
They seem to have a good bar menu (didn’t try the food) including oysters clams etc.
Would have given 4 but those drinks and the smell really ruined it for me.
Bartender was nice.

Always great service! All the girls/​guys are super polite and attentive and helpful without being the breathing down your neck kind of waiter. I went with my twins 1 year old and the waiter offered to cut the chicken tender for us in small pieces, such a sweet gesture and it was a GREAT BIG HELP for us. So hard to juggle us eating and feeding them and cutting up food.
This place is great to come with friends and have fun but also great for a family meal. All with a fair price.
I’ve been here many many times and never left disappointed or hungry.
Also I had my baby shower here and ALL my friends loved the food.

(Though they should give the option for French fries like every other restaurants in America lol BUT I’m not complaining)

Really great drinks: their variation of a Cosmo and the Tiramisu were delicious.
I had the chance to taste a few things. Fresh, tasty oysters, cheeseburger sliders and chicken sandwich were all really good. I really enjoyed their wings with hot sauce. Delicious for real!
I would definitely go back. Service was pretty good and I had a good experience overall.

Came here to attend a baby shower in the party room last weekend. Overall its a fairly small place, something that would not hold more than 120 people at one time. The bartender is really nice, the other staff could slap on a few more smiles. The food isn’t too terrible. Greens are fresh, pasta was al dente, I would skip the calamari (they were overcooked and rubbery) and roasted red potatoes that came with the entrees (they were overcooked). The beers on tap are a decent, but i would skip the wines.
Would I come out of my way to come here? Absolutely not.
