After talking with both owner and wife on a later stay I FINALLY got the points… geez…so will raise the rating as it finally came.

This is an average budget motel with no frills. I loved that it was convenient, quiet and clean. Our room had recent updates but it was not finished. The beds did seem new and comfortable.
In the morning they have free coffee and cereal bars. There is a microwave to warm breakfast sandwiches as well. We did not go hungry and were glad to have something small before moving on to our next town.

When there’s an event in town and all of the nicer options have doubled their prices, there is a good chance that the Knight will come to the rescue.
The linens are clean.
The water is hot.
The remote has batteries.
There is coffee in the lobby (notice I didn’t say breakfast so as not to disappoint)
Ask them about a multi-​night discount!
