Well I had veal Marsala it was like bland gravy plate. I had little veal on my plate. Gravy was not rich couldn’t tell but think they forgot the wine! The first rolls we got were very hot lots of butter perfect amount of garlic however the second rolls had so much garlic we couldn’t eat them! Server was a little snotty at first. «WELLWEVEBEENHEREFOR20YEARS.» But was attentive after that. Just started off on the wrong foot for me. I wish I went to carrabbas!

Absolutely THE best authentic Italian restaurant anywhere. Food and service is excellent. Garlic Rolls are excellent. Been here 3 – 4 times and come here whenever in town.

Food is unremarkable. Staff is extremely kind. Atmosphere is cozy. Although we liked the people we won’t be back.

This is the second time we’ve eaten at Molinari’s. It is one of the best kept secrets in Nashville, let alone Cool Springs. Ben has been our server both times and went above and beyond to make us feel like family! He is friendly and professional and excessed our expectations. Food was great, atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Great for the family or for a date night!

This was my first time here but the place was pretty empty for a Friday night and the crowd was pretty old too. The staff was really nice and accommodating for the little one in our party. The décor is pretty kitschy and has a warm atmosphere. The menu was pretty reasonable and extensive but the food is just average. Everything is covered in heaps of cheese and doesn’t have a lot of flavor. The best thing we had that night were the complementary salad and garlic rolls.

First time here, and the food was excellent. We had the Lasagna Molinari, which was excellent. Fresh ingredients and original Italian recipes make this a must when in the area. Marry was our server, and she was delightful! Great experience all around.

We ate at Molaniars about four years ago and it was a super good Italian Restaurant. Ate there about six months ago and, well not near as good this time.

I’m surprised to see a 3 star average rating, as this is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. While it is in a strip mall, the interior is very nicely done, and adds a rich, warm feel to the experience. The food is standard Italian fare, but well done and nicely presented. The garlic bread rolls and table salad are a great way to start your meal. The only complaint that I read in another review that makes sense to me is the service. We’ve had a few experiences where the waits were too long and our waiter didn’t check on us, which was especially peculiar given how small the restaurant is. But most of the time the service has been fine. If you’re an Italian fan looking for a nice, smaller restaurant, I’d recommend giving this a try.

I ordered a pasta in a white clam sauce. When I received my food it looked like chicken noodle soup. It was literally soup. I could barely eat it without getting oily sauce all over my shirt. Oil-based sauces should be fairly light and definitely not soup. The service was good and garlic rolls were great but I won’t be back.

The food is outstanding, the family salad makes the chain places look like amateurs. We always enjoy fabulous service and excellent Italian food! The servers are knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend Molinari ’ s to anyone looking for a family dining experience or an intimate encounter! Today’s server was a young gentleman named Benjamin and he was outstanding!

Very slow service and uninspired food. Dinner special was breaded baked prawns parmesan over pasta. The prawns were past their prime from the freezer and had no indication that they were even prawns. Did not even finish them which says a lot. Money is much better spent elsewhere. Would not go back. I am not a food Nazi — am pretty flexible, but this flys in the face of all of the very good food available in the Nashville area. Try Monells in Germantown or Thai Phooket by the stadium. I realize that they are in Nashville proper but are standouts. In Franklin, go to Bishop’s Meat and Three. It is not Italian, but ½ the price, great people and very good food.

I love this family owned Italian restaurant. The garlic knots are served warm and fresh upon arrival. The family style salad is so delicious. I love the lasagna.

Food was as delicious as I remembered. Service was worse than I remembered. I had to ask the waiter 3 times for my drink, then had to motion him over to the table to have it refilled. Brought my entrée before the salad was even served. Ran out of bread, he said 3 minutes, never came. When he brought my doggy bag he did bring fresh bread, but it was too little, too late. This was on a slow Monday night, with only about 5 tables of people, another wait person and a busboy. What happens on a Friday when they are busy? I’d hate to see.

Molinari’s used to be the best kept secret in town, but I think everybody figured it out! The unlimited garlic knots are absolute heaven!!! The salad that comes with every meal features the only Italian dressing I’ve ever eaten that does not overwhelm your mouth with a bitter potency about 15 bites in. It has the perfect balance of flavors and strength like you’ve never tasted before. The calamari is great, the chicken piccata is perfection, and the lasagna is incredible. Best Italian food in Middle Tennessee(with the exception of Carrabba’s, the only chain restaurant that seems to be flawless no matter the location). But if you want quiet, small, and romantic, choose Molinari’s!

Good food. We found this great spot for take out Italian food and purchased twice for our very hungry family of five. The first time was great — nice people and we were happy. The next time we were charged for the to go containers for our foot. $ 5.00. When we questioned this charge the owner of the restaurant was very rude. Never have I been charged for the to go containers and never will I go back to this dining facility. We were repeat customers and ones that would remained on that list for this owner until he pulled this trick. Competition is everywhere and we are lucky to have choices. So just a warning — look at your bill and be sure you know where your money is going. Sorry Molinari’s but we will not be returning for your food and we will certainly not be recommending others to dine with you. Word of mouth is strong and likely not worth the tricky addition to my bill.

Great Italian food in Brentwood. They make their sausage in house and it is delicious. Great environment for our family. They have a broad menu of Italian dishes and I have gone all over the menu over several visits. Wine menu makes a great accompaniment with their meals. My only regret is they are closed Sundays, which is my date night with my wife.

Great little Italian place! Great food and very attentive service. We had fried ravioli as an appetizer, veal piccata, and chicken Parmesan. All were great. We will return, nice little gem of a place.

We ended up here on a rainy Saturday night after having bad luck getting in anywhere else. I was skeptical at best and, as often happens, skepticism led to a pleasant surprise! The place was crowded and the whole room smelled great. My hub and I both enjoyed our selections. I had sausage parmigiana and hub had lasagne. It came with a nice salad and rolls. I rarely order spaghetti in a restaurant, even when I am eating carbs… but I took several bites of this generous portion and it was really good! We both said we’d be happy to go back. The server was friendly and very accommodating regarding hubby’s well documented(on Unilocal) allergy to garlic.

First time visiting and we really enjoyed it. The service was great and servers were very helpful. We had to wait for our table because the place was packed which is always a good sign but there’s no bar but not to worry because we walked to the back and asked for a glass of wine and the server was so accommodating. It’s truly a quaint little place that made for a very intimate experience with my husband. The food was delightful and the tiramisu made the drive from west Nashville worth it! We will be coming back!

Great place! Remembered years ago when I used to go to Provino’s & Torino’s in Nippers Corner… finally found this place under the same owner, and it all came back to me… the family style salad(and I don’t like salads, but I always loved their salads) and the great pasta. Only thing I was missing was the dish I used to ALWAYS order… the Pasta Lovers Special. It wasn’t on the menu anymore but there is so many other excellent items on the menu, it all worked out! Will definitely return!
