Shooter’s Bar and Grill

Had to attend an event at Fraser Hockey Land, which by the way has the worst parking ever. So decided to come to this place so we would not have to move the car. The service is atrocious. Why would they have two people behind the bar and only one person handling the dining room when the place is packed. From the time we sat down and received our food it was an hour plus. And, we ordered burgers, philly cheese steak, pretzels, and wings, nothing too fancy. 30 minutes after our order the waitress comes by to tell us there is no steak for the philly cheese steak and asks if we can change to a philly cheese chicken. Very disappointing. Food is just okay, nothing special at all.
The place is highly disappointing. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.

DO NOT DINE HERE! Deserves zero stars. Came here because it’s within walking distance of the ice rink. Service was extremely poor. Sat down at the bar and waited a good ten minutes to be acknowledged. I finally flagged down the bartender who was busy standing on the other side talking to a fellow employee, maybe owner, who knows who they were. Sat at the bar drinking and playing keno, but also walked behind bar to pour beers… Told bartender we were ready to order because we were in somewhat of a hurry. She told us that food (yea bar food) is going to take about an hour because the kitchen is backed up due to a figure skating competition. Well I’m apart of the competition so I knew that part already, but there is a total of 6 people in the restaurant… Whatever. Its the only place around we will wait. Boyfriend ordered a short beer and she brought a tall, so her listening skills aren’t very good. 45 minutes into waiting the people next to us left without ever getting their food. Finally, after 50 minutes (!!!) my boyfriends burger came out, missing the bacon we paid extra for and with cold fries. My food didn’t come at all. Another 5 minutes before mine came out. My food was hardly average.
Came here for the convenience. If ever skating at the rink again, would drive elsewhere. Not worth the time or money. I repeat… DO NOT DINE HERE

okay for a drink after a soccer or hockey game next door. pizza is okay but not spectacular. waitress did her job but not great or super engaging. place could use some cleaning up. not much else to say.

I am with the other person about wishing my review could be less than 1 star. This place needs a management enema. You wait forever to get your first drink or a follow-​up drink! Why? Barmaid is yapping on cell phone and sweet talking the 1 or 2 locals that live on the bar stools there.
If you want a drink in a normal amount of time, call ahead before you leave your house. Maybe, just maybe you will get it without waiting 20 minutes!!!

This place has the worst service. Been here about 3 times. Don’t know why I come back. Only for cheap drinks. Food is about a ³⁄₁₀ if you’re lucky. Terrible. Worst service ever!!!

If I could give it less than a star, I would. This place has the worst service I have ever seen. There is a particularly old and homely waitress who did not come to our table even after being informed that we had a child who needed something to eat. We have been here for over 30 minutes and no one has come to take our order. Fraser Hockeyland is the only reason this place is in business.

Got here at 5. Got a beer at 5:12. Its now 5:35 and haven’t even seen a bartender. Wtf.

This cheese bread with pepperoni is really good. Service is always a little slow, but the prices and food are a good deal. I’ll probably be back in the future.
They have the most awkward pool table placement in the existence of billiards, but I’ll let it slide.

Haven’t tried the food, but a bomber of PBR for $ 2.50 at happy hour is hard to walk away from. Bar staff is friendly and attentive. I had to feel for Dawn when the place was packed due to a hockey tournament next door, and her back up bartenderS (emphasis on plural) decided to come in an hour late. She didn’t miss a beat, kept the patrons sufficiently lubricated.
Definitely will be back after reffing out there.

Let’s face it… it is a bar in front of an ice rink!!! Bam! A couple of pre-​gamers then walk over to watch the kids. Bartender was great, place was clean and a decent liquor selection.
Good by me.

I sat down at the bar next to a guy with an empty beer glass in front of him. Not a good sign. Sat there and sat there, waiting for the barmaid to scan the bar and look over our way.
Barmaid was busy chatting with others, cashed out a couple guys, then started working on the line-​up of kids wanting change.
I finally gave up & left.

I play in a kickball league at the Lions Club next door, so this is a weekly hangout for me during the spring and summer. Drink specials are decent (for Thursdays, anyway). Food is pretty good, as well — pretty standard bar fare. Last year the service was extremely slow, but the past few times I’ve gone this year, I’ve seen a MASSIVE improvement. I like their mini tacos (or «Fraser caviar,» as they say) with a beer before kickball.

Excellent food, especially the pizza and wings. (Except the steak; not a good cut of meat) Good portions, and all reasonably priced. Daily drink specials AND they have shots of Apple Pie EVERY DAY (!!!) for only $ 3! You DEFINITELY get your money’s worth on mixed drinks and shots. Super friendly staff, too! Lots of TVs, including a projector screen. Golden Tee, a couple pool tables and an Internet jukebox (although, only two plays for a buck is a bit stingy). Oh, Beer Pong, too, for the college kids. They also have a banquet room you can reserve for parties, etc. The downside? Can be a bit crazy during hockey or soccer tournament weekends (since the bar is located on the same lot as Great Lakes Sports Center and next to Total Soccer) or can be brutally dead on some days.

Great Food, Kitchen Open Late. Friendly Wait Staff !!!
