This business location has closed down… will reopen after a new location is built I was told in Frederick. We miss them!

I had breakfast here and ordered the huevos rancheros. About two bites in I found a fly in it and notified the waitress. She didn’t seem to be that apologetic. I agreed to get a new plate but saw some more flys flying around the place throughout my meal. I won’t be eating here again.

Always good and consistent. They have some unique stuff like the breakfast Tri Town Club which is a sandwich made of French toast with scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese dusted with powdered sugar. Pretty good! The staff is always great!

Its a really good truck stop for breakfast and lunch! They have breakfast buffet on sundays. The dinner kinda sucks but everything else is really good. the waitresses there are always really nice. The monte cristo is by far the best one ive had

Green Chili Cheeseburger was not what I expected. Tasted ok, but visually repulsive. Traditional is definitely better here. Service was friendly and clean.

Food is pretty good, but not great, always had good service, but prices are little high compared to others in the area serving burgers and mexican food…

You have got to try this place. The Pepper Jack burger was deeelicious! The menu said it was spicy but it was perfect. The waitress was very friendly and had no problem taking care of the 5 or 6 tables of people. We will defiantly be stopping by next time we’re in the area.

Our favorite little(guilty pleasure) breakfast place! Don’t be confused, although Pepper Jacks is right off of I-25, considered to be a «truck stop», it’s an amazingly CLEAN, cute little diner also! We usually start our breakfast off with their infamous cinnamon roll, which is always served fresh and warm. I’m always delighted to get crispy-cooked-just-right hash browns(as this is my only request when eating breakfast) and I get them here at Pepper Jacks. My favorite dish is the Eggs Benedict and their different variations on the dish. Service is always quick and friendly and the owner, Janel, is a delight!!! Love her! She works hard and takes pride in her business and it definitely shows!

After almost a year of living 10 minutes away, I’m really bummed we lost out on 12 months of eating here! Driving up, you almost second guess yourself — a diner at a truck stop attached to a gas station, that hasn’t had the best upkeep? However, walking in calms those nerves and there’s a slight quaint feeling to the place. Yeah sure, the décor is probably outdated, and it could never be classified as posh, but there’s a bit of a «western» charm to the place. Both employees we encountered were nice and attentive. Granted, it was a Monday night and the place wasn’t even close to busy, but we still appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. Wanting to try a variety of food, the kids, hubs, and I each ordered our own thing but agreed to share family style. We even ordered one of the«Jack’s Snacks» just to have more variety. The Chicken Fiesta Egg Rolls are to. die. for. I don’t know if I’ve ever had anything like this. Admittedly, they’re a bit pricey for the 6 halves that you get, but I can’t stop thinking about how good they were and I’d willingly spend the money for more. The kids had pancakes and french toast — both good. I’m a bit partial to «big chain» pancakes(Denny’s, Perkins, Le Peep, Egg n’ I etc) because they’ve perfected the flavor and fluffiness, so Pepper Jacks don’t quite compare, but still tasty nonetheless. I had the Jack’s Burger with fries. I asked for no pink in the burger, but it’s because I know most places will generally under cook compared to what you ask for. So when it came to the table slightly pink — I was okay with that. The burger and fries were great. Good flavor and definitely something I’d order again. The only thing that didn’t wow us was the Ultimate Burrito. Being Colorado natives, we’re quite familiar with Green Chili, and we’re snobs when it comes to the stuff. There’s only a handful of places that we enjoy going to for their Green Chili, and I have spent several tries perfecting my own recipe. Pepper Jacks has some work to do on their Chili recipe as it tastes a bit«chicken stocky» and the flavors aren’t quite right. The Ultimate burrito is quite big, but it was packed mostly with hash browns. We’ll definitely come back and keep trying things on the menu. I’m glad we finally decided to give them a shot, and probably one of my top go-to places when we just don’t feel like cooking.

This is a Truck Driver Burger Restaurant and delicious. Everything they make is fresh and made right. For a place like this way out here its great to stop in and get Breakfast… Pancake Special, Lunch… Hamburger and Fries, and the Pies are perfect. If your in Erie, CO you want to «Eat Here» I’m from Los Angeles and there’s not that many of good places like that here.

I ordered chicken fried steak breakfast twice in one sitting. I never got the chance to eat either of my meals due to long black hair in my gravy. I was so discussed with the food I will never go back. Staff was professional about the problem. I just had bad luck.!!

We came in after driving by, for almost 2 years of living here… Bummed we haven’t been sooner. Yes, it is a truck stop, but it’s a diner too,…We got burgers, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, chicken fingers, and a breakfast meal…(we had 2 kids with us) Everything was really GOOD. The chicken fingers weren’t like pre-frozen, the burgers were good quality, big, and SO tasty, and you can’t go wrong with breakfast. They were nice, helpful and we will be back soon to eat here again.

Holy cow. May be the best meal I’ve ever had. I’m on vacation and just happened to pull off at this exit, but please plan to come here. It is amazing!
