The sushi was okay. I am usually a decent tipper. I left my skimpiest tip I think I ever have. It was a true reflection of the service. When my wife and I sat down, we noticed how dirty our table was. After letting our waitress know, she came over and half assidly wiped off our table. It was still sticky. Eww. Once our food arrived, we never saw her for maybe 30 minutes. I would have ordered more, but by that time, I just wanted to leave. Our check took another 15 minutes. It’s a shame because my wife enjoyed her meal very much. I don’t think I’ll return. I should add that we were the only table our waitress had. Very disheartening.

The all you can eat lunch conveyor belt was something I have NEVER seen before. Very cool concept – just wish they sent around more California rolls! Only complaint is how one server was running around frantic and took 15+ minutes to get a drink

My boyfriend, 3 year old son and I came here for dinner. We had fast service(Billy was his name) and he was very attentive to our needs and multiple questions. My son LOVES sushi yet is picky and seems to enjoy most of their rolls! The atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

Still great food!!! Unfortunately, their happy hour timeframe is reduced, ending at 6 p.m., which I can’t make most of the time. However, they not only have great sushi but also very good Chinese food(their crispy beef is the best I’ve had in the entire Frederick & Montgomery County area). And what a deal for weekdays lunch! For $ 15 you get anything from the conveyor belt and a soup, hot and sour or miso.

First time trying the place. Food was beyond excellent and definitely fresh. You can tell a lot of work and expertise went into it. Had some drinks too. Drinks were pretty good. Wait staff was meh… Seemed a little condescending. Only thing keeping me from giving it five stars. Great atmosphere. Very chill and relaxed. Overall great food and experience. We plan to make it a weekly place we visit. Would definitely recommend.

Their lunch special is a steal, $ 15 per person on an all you can eat conveyor belt. Hubby and I come here often for a quick and enjoyable lunch. The quality of sushi is fantastic and plenty of options. Service is outstanding, everyone is very sweet and friendly.

The sushi here is OK. We have yet to really find a great sushi place near bye. Each time we dine here, we have been the only people in the restaurant. The last time eating here, there were gnats all over the table trying to get into the soy sauce. I don’t think we will be going back here.

Came in on a Wednesday evening for the carousel sushi. Arrived a little early(4:30). Had some friends meeting me there. Sign says on door carousel starts at 5. So we waited. Then was told would be 5:30. So we ordered a couple of rolls off the menu.(They were decent) At 5:45 the first items came out on the carousel. It was imitation crab in a roll. We left at 6

New to this town & I really need to eat something since I didn’t eat anything. I ordered salmon bento & surprisingly I really enjoyed the meal. Hot & sour soup came with the meal. The quality of the soup was better than other places I tried & it was just right combination of sourness. Bento was just right portion. Salmon was little dry but the sauce matched very well. Teriyaki sauce was not too sweet but sweet enough for u to taste salmon. Typically teriyaki sauce is too sweet for me but this place got the right teriyaki flavor. The vegi on the top of the salmon was very fresh. Overall, it was very delightful meal late at night. Thank you for a great meal.(After u don’t eat all day & when finally u r having a meal, u just don’t want to be disappointed. Especially makes u regret spending money…)

My cousin utilized Unilocal to locate Su Shi Den Sha. We had not seen each other in years and needed a half way point to do it while in Maryland. We were seated upon arrival for lunch on a Wednesday around 12pm. Our waitress was my only true complaint about the experience. She was not friendly and was difficult to understand. She immediately wanted us to get the sushi lunch buffet for $ 15(I believe). When we tried to find out how to figure out which roll is which on their moving bar she said there is no way to know and she didn’t name off anything but the imitation crab that was covering them. At this point I was a bit alarmed. Since I have been living in Vegas I am a bit spoiled concerning AYCE Sushi. Since we weren’t able to get any assistance from the waitress we decided to order from the menu. Started with the Seaweed salad which was large in size and had good flavor. As for the rolls I will break them down below saving the best for last ! Spicy Roll Combo — it was a really great deal giving a little kick and a nice variety of rolls to share. My favorite was the spicy yellowtail roll. All three had good flavor and were good quality. For 11.95 it was a large portion set of rolls for sure! Spider roll — honestly I thought it was OK but not great, having lettuce took some getting used to and it was mainly a whole bunch of eel sauce but for 8.95 I guess I shouldn’t complain . Best of all was the Chili Maguro roll. It is a part of the special roll section. As you may of guessed it’s spicy. The menu will go over exactly what it has in it but if you’re a fan of tuna and spice this is the roll for you. The flavor mix was so good. I loved the black pepper tuna they placed on top! Overall I would definitely go here again. It was a reasonably priced sushi location. They have a fair amount of roll choices .As I said earlier in the review service is where it really fell short for me. We even had to ask for refills and do just selfies because the waitress just was absent. If she was busy I can excuse this but there was another girl handling most of the tables and ours was behind the counter hanging out often.

This place was amazing! 6 of my friends and I came here for dinner. The food was served in a timely manner, the waitress was attentive, everyone’s food was phenomenal. Personally, I would highly recommend the Paradise Roll if your feeling some sweet sushi.

Not the best sushi, I had. It was walking distance from the hotel, so opted to eat here.

Before I say anything about this place, I will openly admit that my friends, and I came in around 9pm. They closed at 10 that night, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt with a lot of things. Service wise, it was great. Our waitress was a very sweet young girl, and the sushi chef was quick to get our food out to us. Food wise, it wasn’t the best. It definitely wasn’t bad by any means, to me, and it may have been because we came in so late. I ordered the chirashi which was okay, though the rice had fish eggs all over it, which threw me off. The fish was fresh, but had very little flavour. My Philadelphia roll was delicious. My friend ordered a spicy tuna roll which she enjoyed. However, she also ordered a volcano roll that resulted in her getting sick to her stomach. One thing that irked me was that my friend called ahead to ask how late the belt was open, and she was told the belt ran until closing. We found out upon arrival that what she was told was not true. I don’t know who she spoke to, but they were misinformed. Overall not bad. I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse. I’ll probably give it another chance after awhile.

My friend and I ate here for the first time this week and we both agreed that this wasn’t the worst nor best sushi we have had. The place did smell a bit fishy next to the bar and the conveyor belt wasn’t running but it seemed like a cool idea. Service was fine, nothing mind blowing. place was basically empty around 5−6pm.

Sshhh. Don’t tell Chop Sticks in Winchester(our rural favorite) that this place SPANKS them! Here’s what we got & what we thought of each: Tiger Roll — one of our favorites Golden Temple — good, the kids favorite, fried Pink Lady — surprising and good, i typically dislike fruit on my sushi but the kiwi was wonderful with it Chili Maguro — tasty and spicy, good variety Naruto Roll — the only roll we did not like, sorry Bamboo Roll — good Dynamite Roll — our HANDSDOWN favorite Salmon Skin Roll — crunchy and salty Maryland Roll — the kids second favorite, just ok to the adults Tuna Kimchi Roll — just ok Looking forward to trying them again soon! The sushi pizza, takoyaki, rock n roll, thunder roll, and densha roll looked great!

L O V E this place !!! Hubby and I love sushi and we used to come a lot but we don’t get to go out as much anymore but I find myself craving this place! Chili Maguro & Rock N Roll are the top two faves of the sushi they have there ! Basil Chicken is super good. The Thai basil mussels and the crispy duck roll is really good too. I pretty much just love this place in general. Minus the one rude waitress in the morning. Older lady with glasses? She’s always so short with us and barely ever comes around a hardly gets us anything we ask for. Definitely never smiles at us.

This has now become our favorite sushi spot. Sushi we have tried include the MD roll(awesome — full of crab with a just the right amount of Old Bay), Chesapeake roll(ok but not our favorite, strawberry sauce does not really go with the roll), scallop tempura and egg roll(huge scallops go great with the delicate egg flavor), and spicy combo(includes spicy salmon, tuna, and yellowtail).

Come to The carrusel of flavor! Yummy tasty sushi with little spikes of different ingredients. I’m not a true sushi eating person but here I tried a little of everything and opened up my paladar in very mouthwatering and flavor savoring ways ! Try the desert«Oreo pluckers» Nice people and the sushi chefs are helpful too! Enjoy !
