Overpriced for what you get. Veggie wrap had a ton of lettuce and a few slices of cucumber. Not worth the price. Was the saddest veggie wrap I’ve ever had. Should just name it the lettuce wrap. Quick service though hence why it got any stars.

waited a long time to be seated, even though there were only four other people in the entire restaurant. all other service was slow and rude. impossible to get a drink refill. halibut had an old, bitter taste. the mac and cheese was the nastiest I’ve ever had in a restaurant. they attempted to «upscale» it by using fancy pasta. but it was just pasta with a bland Sysco sauce. advertised as baked and it clearly was not. crab cakes seemed as thought they were made with canned crab. lobster on the lobster roll sandwich was old and overcooked. parking lot in poor repair also. i just can’t find one good thing to say about this overpriced, garbage scowl.

Gotta love a good twin lobster deal! Especially when it comes with corn on the cob. Delicious. Ate outside, and though the live music wasn’t awesome, it didn’t detract from the meal. I look forward to returning to get my lobster on.

Nice family friendly restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Can be a bit noisy at times. Good seafood and specials.

This place was a major disappointment. I will not be returning even if it is the only restaurant open in town. I would opt to create my own meal at the supermarket or not eat. If you want great seafood, there are so many great options at similar price points in Portland like J’s Oyster. Don’t waste your time with this place. The food was way over-priced and not that good and the service was mediocre at best. My girlfriend and I ordered the fish and chips and the lobster roll. The fish and chips came out looking like Tyson’s chicken nuggets. It looked like they just threw their scrap haddock into batter and fried it to make the fish and chips. They only provided 4 «bite-sized fish nuggets» on the plate. When I order fish and chips in a restaurant, I expect fish fillets especially when I am paying $ 11 for this dish. As for the lobster roll, it had all the makings of a great lobster roll as it had a tasty bun and fresh Maine lobster, but they were so chincy about the amount of lobster they provided in the roll. They tried to mask this by throwing in pieces of lettuce at the bottom of the bun and the meat still didn’t fill the bun. This compounded by the fact that it cost $ 16 which is the price you pay for some of the top lobster rolls in Boston(a much more expensive city), made this a major disappointment.

my husband and i have been here twice, both visits being in the aftenoon around 2:00. our first visit, the food was good, but upon entering, we werent sure if we were to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. finally someone seated us. our server was very slow considering there was a total of 7 people in the dining room. we had dirty utensils and our server couldnt remember to bring tartar sauce upon request. our second visit was worse. upon entering, again we waited much too long, about to leave, someone seats us. muttering something under his breath about«where is so and so». he seated us and very quickly went over the wine and dinner menu. and that was it. no one came to take our order. this time there was 2 other people in the dining room. we watched them get their food. clearly the server saw us. they were half way through their meal before we decided that no one was coming to take our order. we were forgotten!

Amazing Lobster mac and cheese! This is a must repeat! The prices were really good for a tourist town and the portions were awesome! I will come again!
We spotted this place while on the way from our hotel to shop downtown and decided to give it a try for dinner. My wife pointed out the cioppino on the menu and I didn’t look at anything else. The cioppino took a little longer to prepare than the meals others around us ordered but it was certainly worth the wait. In addition to the expected ingredients there was a generous portion of lobster meat. The next time I’m in Freeport I’ll be back! Our service was just fine and there’s no complaint about the preparation time of my dish. We did notice a server in a nearby area though, who seemed to do the right things but very abruptly and with no interpersonal interaction with his customers. If he had a personality, he must have checked it at the door.

Lunch stop in Freeport, chicken ceasar salad for me. It was hot grilled chicken on my ceasar salad hold the cheese please… that made it healthier. My company both had fish and chips. The lunch portion was bits of fried fish with fries and slaw. I was glad I went with the salad.

Very happy with our dinner here. My Mom and I were taking a trip around New England and stopped in Freeport for the night. We had eaten a pretty late lunch so we didn’t go to dinner until 8:45. There were people there but it wasn’t at all busy and we were seated right away. We had the greatest server. Adorable, friendly and sweet pregnant girl. She was so great. My Mom and I both ordered the Captains Lobster Bake, which included a cup of chowder, mussels, whole lobster and 2 sides. Very impressed with our dish. The chowder was some if the best I’ve ever had and the mussels and lobster were so fresh and delicious. The price was the cherry on top. I’m from the San Francisco area and this meal would have been at least double there. We were the last people in there and the server sat down to chat with us a bit. Great dinner and experience.

Had dinner here on a rainy night in October. We were welcomed, promptly seated and our drink order was immediately taken. The room is bright and attractive. I had the fried clams with a vegetable and Mac and cheese. Everything was hot and tasted great. My wife had the scallops which were served with the Mac and cheese and vegetables also. She said that she really enjoyed it. We finished with dessert, cheese cake for her and blue berry cobbler for me. Both were tasty, but too big. This was a nice place with very good food at a reasonable price. After a day of shopping give it a try!

After a day of shopping the lot of us were famished. So the fam and I set out 2 find a spot 2 grab a bite. The shops and restaurants had been very busy so we were happy 2 have such prompt service here. The food was good(although my mother was only moderately happy with the fried clams… though pleasing here is a feat so?) The haddock was fresh and cooked 2 perfection. My dad had a smothered burger that was just delish. My daughter ate her cheeseburger so fast I thought she might’ve just inhaled it. All in all pleasant speedy service and very good food

This was recommended to us by our B&B. We both had Fried Haddock and were disappointed. It was priced at $ 17 apiece and had little flavor to it. The Mac and Cheese I had as a side was cold and my wife had to wait 15 minutes for a drink due to the syrup needing to be changed. Too expensive for the quality we received.

New place in Freeport! Great, fresh, well prepared seafood in a nice atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning:)
