Always a great time! Harrys is what’s its supposed to be, they have the best bands, great drinks, delish bar food right in the middle of the mile. Comfortable, after beach, summer time spot… I love harrys!

Great place. My wife and I came on a Sunday night with 30 minutes to go before they closed. Not only did the bartender make us amazing mixed drinks, she also was able to relate to the fact that we were poor manahattanite musicians and hooked us up in the«strong» drink department! Awesome place. Awesome drinks. Recommended!

Never again. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The wait staff looks trashy, you could barely tell the difference between who works here and the guests. Upon arrival the hostess was smoking a cigarette and puts it down to seat the guests ahead of us. As she returns to the stand she resumes smoking her cigarette. We stood there for at least 5 minutes before anyone asked us if we needed anything. Seated it took at least 40 minutes for the food to arrive, and the food came out in paper plates. $ 15 for fried shrimp to come out in a paper plate? I think not. Barely saw the waitress all night and whenever I needed her I had to get her myself. I could’ve sworn she was drunk. We finished our meals with no silverware.

Stopped by and ordered fish & chips(a lot of food) and the Hurricane Harry drink(all orange juice that left a bad after taste). Service sucked and the bathrooms were beyond disgusting.

Came in for oysters apparently they haven’t had any in weeks. Disappointed. Flies was allover the place. Bathroom smelled like it hadn’t been clean in months. My gf went in the bathroom and the smell followed her to our table which made us lose appetite

I came here on a Sunday night expecting good service. It was terrible and over priced. It used to be so good. I won’t be back.

Waitress was very nice. Checked on us frequent enough. Drinks: I had the voodoo, it was decent. My friend had the coronita without a salted rim. Came back with a salted rim anyway. Food was just ok. Definitely wasn’t great. Doubt I’ll go back. Had the coconut shrimp appetizer. That was ok. Nothing spectacular. My entrée was the Maryland crab cakes. They were ok. Could’ve done without the puréed cream corn on top. That was weird. My friend had some chicken sandwich that was more bread than chicken. She said hers was just ok also. Oh, Paper plates and plastic silverware which wouldn’t have been too bad however My food was hot so it burned through the paper plate like when you microwave a paper plate. Very unappealing on the eye when paying to eat somewhere… So all in all the place is just ok.

I tried a few spots on the mile before like Rachel’s, Otto’s, crab Shack and wanted to try something different. I saw Hurricane Harry and gave it a try. First red flag was the seater girl said we can sit outside and open the umbrella. When we were seated the waitress said we cant have an umbrella cause its windy. So i had to be in the burning sun. Then all these people on the deck were smoking and all their smoke were blowing in my family face. Horrible place. The food sucks and tasteless. I do not recommend this place. Poor service and bad service too. I will never tried this place again.

First and last time i went was emty only 3 people were drinking and i could tell they are the people who kind of lived there and bullshiting each other. i asked for bathroom first and bar tander lady just looked at me for a moment and said ok yeah you can use the bathroom and after couple of steps just dont dropped the bomb there she said. That was very very rude for person who is running the place. I decided not to give any business to them because you are going to be nice the people to deserve business from them. After i got out the batroom i decided to leave and the other guy was drinking at bar stopped me and said. Why would be wanna use the batroom here he said. I didnt want to say anything to him and just said im sorry for that. Not so friendly place to go.

After touring the many menus of the nautical mile, we decided to go with decently priced, outside seating and no wait. Well, I’d say it was a nice atmosphere, with live music and a very attentive waitress. However, the food was depressing. We ordered the fish and chips and steak sandwich. Wow, how awful. The fish was a mixture of overcooked, undercooked and just right, which was no fun trying to decifer. The steak sandwich was bland, soggy and disappointing. I enjoyed the drinks, which were fun and fruity, but at $ 11 a pop I didn’t get more than one. The area is nice, but super overpriced. This place has a nice outdoors, live music, and is cheaper than other places nearby, but all in all not the best experience. I like to eat. Also, people smoke cigarettes right on top of you. No thanks.

My wife and i got here at roughly 5PM on a Sunday and we were drawn in by the live singer. Caucasian male singing lots of old school reggae… he was phenomenal. The service at the restauarant is a bit slow but its the nautical mile… everyone is laid back here, so you have to come with the right mindset. We tried the Voodoo Juice, which was awesome… it’s essentially their take on Jamaican Rum Punch. We weren’t terribly hungry, but wanted to pick at something as we were sucking down 4 – 5 different types of rum in one glass. We decided to go with the conch fritters. The best drinking food… EVER. We plowed through the 5 fritters quickly and tried to order another appetizer, but they were basically out of everything. No problem… conch fritters were still available!

On a beautiful summer day, after walking the Nautical Mile, we decided to have lunch at Hurricane Harry’s. We were lucky to get a shady table overlooking the water. The server’s name was Corinne and she did a great job. The wait for the food was long but they were crowded. I had the fish and chips basket. The fish was excellent and the portion was large. It was greaseless and crunchy, with lots of fresh white pollock. Respectable fries accompanied the dish, as did tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. My husband had the chicken tenders basket, which was also a large portion of crispy chicken with said fries and honey mustard. I ordered a coke; the first one was loaded with ice and pretty weak. The refill contained almost no ice and was still weak. It was a quite decent lunch. There was a one-man band performing, and he was quite good. In fact, as I wasn’t facing him, I was shocked upon leaving to discover that there wasn’t a full band! We enjoyed the atmosphere and loved watching the boats going by. It was a nice experience and I would return. Also, the prices were very reasonable.

We were looking for a spot with some good seafood an decided to stoping at Hurricane Harry’s. I had the shrimp basket and my boyfriend, the fish tacos. The good was very good and tasty. We were satisfied. The drinks were okay, but kinda weak. As far as the staff, they were friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for some good seafood, check it out!

Its hard to find a decent place on the mile that has food worthy of the price, but this place is one of the good ones! Stopped in here on a random weeknight to try something new and we were not let down. The drinks were really good, I got the coco loco which was delish and strong! My boyfriend ordered the baked clams which were really tasty! We both had a fish sandwich and it was a good portion of food with a side of delicious fries. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well. We sat along the front of the restaurant and enjoyed people watching as we had our dinner and drinks. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!

I don’t think any place on the Nautical Mile is fantastic but I do like this place. The lobster rolls and the steak sandwich were very good and they make great fries. Their coco loco is a good lower calorie alternative to a piña colada. If you going on a sunny day, take note that they don’t have enough umbrellas for all of the tables so you may end up baking in the sun. Not sure why they can’t just buy a few more umbrellas. Also, it looks like the garbage is stored next to the outdoor eating area and that can make for unpleasant odors, and it gets worse at low tide(but low tide affects the entire strip).

We passed by this place on the way to our original destination(Otto’s — don’t go there by the way) and we noticed the new raw bar with their incredibly fairly priced oysters and clams on the half shell($ 13 per dozen clams, $ 15 per dozen oysters)! We decided come back here to try it out, and got some beers while we were at it. They had Budweiser, Stella Artois, and Shock Top on tap, all fairly priced at around $ 5. I also had a Midori Melon Ball with Grey Goose and that came out to $ 12 for a very strong summer drink. The guy shucking the oysters and clams was right there on the deck, so it was really nice to see how fresh they were. They came with cocktail sauce and lemons, but I asked for some horseradish and they were even better. They offer little neck clams, top neck clams, and cherrystones. We got some top necks and cherries, and they were super fresh and juicy! I didn’t get a chance to ask where the oysters were from, but they were huge and delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive overall, and came back frequently to check on us. There was also a(little too loud?) live band playing some classic rock songs on the deck by the water too. We didn’t try anything other than the raw bar, but for these prices and how fresh they were, it’s definitely one spot to check out!

While walking on the Nautical strip on Memorial Day weekend, we passed Harry’s and decided to stop in. Myself, along with a few friends of mine, were hungry and this place happened to be one of the few on the strip that didn’t have a major wait time for food. Boy, were we wrong on this one. We sat down and the waitress passed us about eight times before we had to stop her and ask if she could take our order. She looked confused but took the order anyway. About a half hour passed and finally the food arrived. The«fish sandwich» should be booted from the menu. We asked for ketchup and napkins. Fifteen minutes later, we finally received ketchup and napkins. When we were done, we had to hunt the waitress down for the check… twice. Ten minutes later, we received the check. Terrible service. Also, the waiting line for the bathroom was ridiculous and was right by our table. People were literally leaning on our table while we ate. There’s plenty of good places on the Nautical mile strip. This place just isn’t one of them.
